  1. There was dialogue in the bethesda voices directories for this dragon and I think it was USKP that enabled it.
  2. There are several here using this mod and they are experiencing no issues with it.
  3. Maybe it varies with the ratio of the screen resolution...
  4. uninstalling the meshes is not necessary.
  5. default should be 65 if i'm not mistaken...
  6. mark them as read-only in their properties.
  7. Well as a gonna-be dentist I look constantly at everybody's teeth - in real life and games. It buggered me how ugly they looked in Skyrim, but when I don't get too close to other characters when talking to them I can live with it. I think for the biggest part of the community (screenarchers excepted) this mod is not going to make much of a difference to how they perceive the quality of their game.
  8. Not unless cabal120 would want to overhaul the dawnguard weapons completely in the future.
  9. Cons:- needs a certain type of new skeleton which might cause issues if the modder uses non-STEP-mods. - has some animation errors (vanilla issues) - ... Pros: - Realism: "Where is the second blade I just held in my hand?" - Immersion: "My character always runs around with this mighty shield of Ysgramor, but it's kind of awkward to have it in your hand whilst having a mead at the local inn. On the back it still looks awesome!" - Good support by mod author. - Compatible with current STEP (afaik) - ...
  10. if you want to get rid of conflicts refer to Neovalen's Skyrim Revisited guide on these boards for information how to get rid of incompatibilities.
  11. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23416 you're welcome ;-)
  12. There are many issues with "flickering" textures. On your mountains you most certainly have z-fighting. I could give you a much more precise assumption of what your problem is and how to fix it, if you would provide more information as it is written in our posting guidelines for this sub-forum: When posting for support, please including the following: System Specs - Including model and clock rate of the CPU and GPU, whether you use an HDD or SSD, and screen resolution Graphics driver version and settings Skyrim launcher settings STEP version and any additional mods used Texture/quality resolution options - "highest available", "only 1k", etc. Installation method - Wrye Bash, Mod Organizer, NMM, or manual Screenshots and/or video of the bug, where applicable
  13. Just the meshes. A quality world map provides the textures.
  14. I would like a lot more disfigurement in Skyrim as well, but since there is no mod doing this... One thing I can tell you, is that the teeth are not yellow, they are less shiny white. Even nowadays with really good dental hygiene only a tiny percentage of the people over 20 has shiny white teeth as their natural color. In the middle ages the teeth might not have been exposed as much to sugar and stuff like that, but sweet food was available then as well. Also the grinding process to make flower for bread led to a not that small quantity of stone particles in the loafs. People in their late 20s had sandpapered teeth - not perfectly formed neon white teeth. Also, in the middle-ages tooth extractions were not uncommon (they were one of the few not injury related surgeries that were sensible)... and tooth loss as well. I think it should be left to the modder which color to prefer. If you are opting for a modern fantasy style world where everything is pretty and beautiful except the villains... As I am sb who actually works with teeth (dentistry student) I can tell you that a touch yellow makes teeth look a lot more natural, especially for people over the age of 30.
  15. Question is: What is the performance impact on low-end systems with total step?
  16. It's not possible to add a animation which places the shield at least near your back, is it?
  17. You are confusing two entirely different things here: In one tab you have your mod packages you installed in your "mod order", in the other tab you have the esp and esm files from your installed mods, that you need to activate and sort with BOSS to get your "Load order". Your mod order tells MO which files overwrite whose files, your load order tells the Skyrim engine which esm/esp makes changes after which other esms/esps. BOSS will only sort your load order. Your mod order is the order of the mods in the STEP guide you followed.
  18. I use Wrye myself, but it shouldn't differ too much from MO in this matter: I install additional mods to STEP at the very last. That way I can ensure, that I get all of the files from the mod, and it doesn't get overwritten. Also, I add a prefix to every mod in my package, so I would suggest you add a prefix like this: "addon_"ModsName"_"ModsIdentificationNumber".7z" Use whatever prefix you think. As long as it makes a difference between STEP and non-STEP it'll work. Same can be done with optional files not suggested by STEP from mods suggested by STEP. After this is done, install one mod after another, check your load order and do your trial run and see whether and which issues appear. Also be sure, that any mod you install doesn't elementarily conflict with the ones from STEPs gameplay/sound/animations and effects category. Disable the conflicting mods from STEP before trying out the mod. If you want to keep both mods, please refer to Neovalen's Skyrim Revisited Guide for a quite detailed information how to create merged patches for mods. You can find the link to his WIP guide on this forum.
  19. Wouldn't that significantly reduce the textures quality? I'd think it's best to leave that to texture creators who have access to uncompressed texture files.Well that's the most obvious solution, but if they don't provide a downscaled version of their work, you'll have to live with the CTD or lose some quality. You still can switch to other modders' work who provide lower res options. I was not talking about Texture Optimizer in particular. For best results use DDSopt by Ethatron.
  20. Run a texture optimizer and select resize to a max of 2048x2048.
