  1. I'm just running through the install. I think I would make a note that BOSS will complain about automatic Perks. I don't think I read that. I'm also a little confused about the BASH patch. Do you uncheck esps for rebuiding the patch and then re-add them, or do you just leave them unchecked? I have (after BASHED) Automatic Variants ASIS-Dependency ASIS PostAsisPatch SkyRe_EnemyAI Dual Sheath Rudux ReProccer qotsafans ARS Metallica Patch ReProccerDragonborn I'm starting a new game. I know I uncheck Automatic Variants and Dual Sheath Redux, but I'm unclear of the others. Of the 9, which should be disabled before the rebuilding the BASH patch and do they remain unchecked after patching? Could you add a little more idiot proofing to step 27?
  2. A little funnier now, but still too soon.
  3. Good news!  I finally figured it out.  :wallbash:I was soo very close to hanging it up. I hate wasting money tho, because I just bough the expansions, so I tried one more time -- deleting everything including my ini files.  It was my ini files.  I don't know what entry broke it.  I have no patience left to figure it out.  I thought I followed the guide (nothing more), but I went back to some old ini's that I had and I am off to the races! Exactly the same mods loaded (Skyrim Revisited). I have one profile in MO with the broken inis (get gimpy arm) and a new profile with my old ini's (get symmetry)!  I only get the disproportion when I recreate the character using showracemenu.  ODD!!! Bad news!  You are stuck with me a bit longer.  Solved.
  4. I tried it, but I think the problem is the length is different and it really only bumps up the bicep.
  5. I just don't get it. Â I removed Skyrim. Â Every file was gone. Â I re-installed Skyrim from scratch. Â I launch it via Steam. Â I loaded a save game from this thread: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=2337 I disabled all the extra content. I simply did a showracemenu and changed to a DE and bumped up the weight. Â This is what I get. Â It is not as bad as before, but you see a difference right? Â It even looks like the right trap is bigger than the left. Â Makes no sense. Â If I can't help to solve it here, sadly, I'm done. Â Â
  6. I loaded up everything and then used z929669's save games just to see. The proportions were right. If I changed the race, I'd get the disproportion - including on female characters. I also discovered if I went into a new game with alternate start, I would get the problem, but if I loaded the save first then went into alternate start, the proportions were good if I did not adjust the initial race. It doesn't make any sense to me. I just bought DB and DG, and I guess if I want to play through with someone's save, I might be okay. I really want to play rather than fighting with this. Maybe I'll blow it all away again and see.
  7. I'm using MO and I deactivated every mod on the left with the exception of Alternate Start and SKSE and I STILL generate a new character with a large arm. I think the only other possible place is the overwrite directory, but I would think the mods would have to be active? I'm getting close to just giving up.
  8. Thanks. I deactivated FNIS to no avail.  I'm at a loss.  I may just have to start a female character. lol Â
  9. Any cool mods that create a sentient sword/weapon -- that talks to you and reacts to scenarios? I seem to remember that in Baldur's Gate and thought it was pretty cool. I'm surprised I haven't seen a mod like this. Maybe its not possible or perhaps I just gave someone an idea?
  10. Yes. You think it might be FNIS? I just started using this, so I'm very green with it.
  11. Just thought I'd see if anyone else has any input on what files would have to be changed to create this anomaly. I'm out of town, but know when I get home I'll have to trouble-shoot this one. Could it be a result of the ddsopt of the bethesda bsa files? It does not seem to be racemenu. Again, I was following Skyrim re-visited. I think the key question is what file would have to be changed to cause this effect. I wasn't aware of any right vs. left arm/side modifications.
  12. I uninstalled all the mods and was getting no where. I went ahead and just removed everything Steam and Skyrim and re-downloaded/installed. I tried to reload all the mods piecemeal but was getting ctd's at launch. Hard to remember all the pre-reqs. Finally just enabled it all and was able to start a new character with new game. Incidentally, uninstalling racemenu and starting a new game did not help the issue. I thought I had it fixed and it cam back and restarted the game. Going to continue to work on this. Darn!
  13. I deactivated all the face & body + animation mods and still I have a funky skeleton. This will be interesting.
  14. I just started a fresh install. Â I was following the Skyrim revisited list of mods and order. Â Every new male character I create has one arm longer/bigger than the other. Â I've tried a variety of races. Â I've tried uninstalling RaceMenu so i don't think its impacting the bicep size. Â Plus these are just default presets. Â Anyone have some ideas what I might have done to break this? Â Â
  15. Hrm...will keep trying to deactivate things tomorrow, but i deactivated racemenu and better males just to see...to no avail.
  16. I somehow ended up with male models (new starts) with a smaller left arm, length/size. Need to figure out where I went wrong. I love this compilation.
  17. Thanks, WilliamImm. I backed them up per the instructions, but I think I get it.
  18. I'm still scratching my head on how Tes5edit works within MO and where the original and modified files go. I'm thinking the originals stay in skyrim data folder and the cleaned/modified files go in the overwrite folder. Also, when we create the general patch (just below, let the modding begin), do we launch tes5edit within MO? The same question for BUM. Any clarification on the philosophy would be helpful. Thanks!
  19. Probably late but I've had good luck with Mike Foxs Darker Nights. Even darker than I got with COT.
  20. Interesting. Will try that out. Thanks!
  21. I'm wondering what kind of gameplay and combat mods you are using. Â I'm not near my PC but I know I'm using ACE, ASIS and HLE with Uncapper. Â Can't recall what else. Â I tried to find a thread on ACE but don't see anything recent. Â What are you guys using to amp up/spice up the gameplay? Â Anyone still using ACE? Â I guess it was the search engine, but I found a thread on some perk mods and some users still using ACE. Any other suggestions welcome, especially AI and combat related improvements. I do have DG and DB.
  22. I like this mod for my game. Ironically, the huge vanilla spikes just don't seem believable.
  23. Pros/cons of RLO vs. Enhanced Lights & FX?
  24. I'm using it now too for volume control. Thanks for the recommendation.
  25. Add fDefaultWorldFOV=90 under display in Skyrim.ini.
