I just picked up Dark Souls for $5 on Steam.

I just bought witcher 2 for $10 yesterday. Dang it. $6...lol

I didn't see any threads on this and was surprised. I'm giving some thought to buying this game for the PC. I know the gameplay is vastly different from Skryim, but I'm just wondering how my fellow Skyrim players like the game? Soliciting some review here. Thanks.

You should keep a vanilla profile with vanilla ini's. It's a painful process but the only way I've solved CTDs is to start from Vanilla, create a test profile and add a couple mods at a time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I pulled the two chains and there is a force-field keeping me from opening the door. Â Anybody encounter this? Â I'm level 8 and running Requiem. Â I've tried going to an earlier save before entering Saarthal and running some other quests and coming back to no avail. Any tricks I do at the console to get through?

Gotcha...I understand the overloaded aesthetic thing, but I found I didn't like bows just disappearing either. In fact, I really like the effect of having to throw down the bow and pulling out the blades. I also like the throwing down lit torches to see too. I've gotten it work well with Dual Sheath Redux and Blocking + Animations.
