One other question in regards to the new SkyProc. When selecting the Merge Patches option it throws that warning about only using with a new save game, as all references to seperate patches will be broken. Should this be a major concern or can we ignore it? -

@Neovalen - speaking of SkyProc, with the inclusion now of Skyrim Immersive Creatures, is it recommended again to create a bashed patch to manage the leveled list changes he makes, or still an unnecessary step if running standard SR? Thanks! -

Windows permissions maybe? Try the SUM readme, he has a lot of possible problems/fixes in there. TLW, welcome back. The issue is Wolverine's folder naming. You have to shorten his folder, once the structure is fully written out with all of the sub folders it is longer than the Windows max and it silently errors out and hangs. Just rename Wolverine's long ass folder name to "Wolverines AV Ports", then it'll work as intended. I install, and I know Neo does this as well, all AV variants (Belly, Grace, Insanity, Soun, StarX, etc.) into a merge with the main Automatic Variants. It handles the necessary folder structure well by putting them all under AV Packages. Easier than having 7 seperate folders that get moved off to overwrite/textures anyway by SkyProc. @Neovalen - with the addition of Animation Tweaks and Fixes, was the exclusion of his ATAF Sword and Shield Wield optional intentional? Just making sure I have the right setup with his mod and DSR as I am currently playing a sword and board Nord. Thanks. -
@stat - you know I was joking right? I think so but just making sure. The boards here at STEP are the most civil and enjoyable of any I frequent. In fact they're the only place I actually bother to post as most of the game sites are cesspools of internet trolls. I think for the most part, everyone here, well a few of us, have been working with Neo on such updates and we tend to either post in-thread but as it's gotten larger, we have been sending him specific Wiki updates via PM. Neo's preference is to make the Wiki edits himself so he knows what's going on and so while we can all edit the wiki, moderation of it is best left to Neo. So yes, as the community of SR users, as you notice things continue to either post them here in the feedback thread or send via a PM to Neo with the updated that is required.

Yes, 99% of the time Neo puts any and all changes, and notes if patches should be remade in the changelog. Those 1% of the times he does not we jump all over his ass and point out his flaws and omissions with true internet rage and angst! ;)

Aiyen: I'm just going to start trying out some ENBs, and I am firing up RealVision now but like Neo I'm not a fan of this DoF blur...when you say "just replace with one you like", are you referring to a seperate download from the Nexus, or to a configuration option in MCM? Thanks!

Aiyen...let me be the first to apologize for putting you on this path since I was the one who brought up the issue! :) I'm glad your persistence has led to a solution though. Hehe, nice work! Your texture is 10000x better than what Beth had come up with for the vision/atmosphere of that cave. Vanilla is just disruptive and it appears "wrong". I'm currently not using an ENB at all, so I'd be happy to test out this texture plus the ENB if you like. PM me if you want. I'm running a full SR install (2k textures), w/ RLO and CoT. I still have to go back into Shimmermist Cave/Grotto in another level or two to take out the final guy and the automaton in there. Got wiped with my current char at his level. Again, great work!

Solist: If you have an ENB on it can make the issue even worse! To get something good out of it I am currently trying to design my own ENB interior values around this stupid cave to try to make it look somewhat decent! But yes.. I do not know what the hell the design team was thinking when they made this... it really does look like a texture issue. Also about the book of silence.... I believe today is cabals birthday and he would upload the glass stuff. At least that is what he wrote earlier if I recall! Good times! Thanks for the tip. Currently I am not using an ENB, just RLO and CoT. I'll probably tackle ENBs in a week or so, just enjoying a SR playthrough instead of constantly updating now that the guide has leveled out. :) -

Looks like a big update today for Book of Silence. He moved all armors, weapons and uniques into a single package download. Dwarven appears to be included now as well. -

Quick question I'm hoping someone can help with. I was just in Shimmermist Cave and noticed the ceiling texture was missing. I didn't get a screenshot cause I have to go pick up the little one, but it was a speckled texture map with blues/purples/greens/etc. Just a bunch of bright pixels. Any clue which texture is likely missing? i've been running this install and textures now for some time but just haven't hopped into that cave in awhile. Thanks! -

Indeed. While I've been playing Skyrim modded primarily by since the literal first S.T.E.P. release by you, TC. I cannot imaging playing the game now without Neovalen's work on Skyrim Revisited. In my humble opinion, this is truly as close to a finished game as Bethesda could have done with the work of the mod community and yours, the STEP team, and Neo's extensive work to make a guide that perfects as much what our collective vision of Skyrim is and could be. -
Where is a blow your own brains out smiley when you need it? LOL... not in my plans for now. Obviously as you say its huge...

Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp is in the BUM list now, so that note for the rule addition is no longer necessary. -

@Neo - just a heads up the BOSS Masterlist now includes the BetterQuestObjectives .esp's, so the only one that needs to be in your Wiki now is the patch for BSaQBPatch. -

@Neovalen With the new Show Race Menu Precache Killer mod, where should this file go when using Skyrim Revisited? Currently with a full SR setup, the defaule SKSE/plugin folder does not exist within the normal Skyrim Data directory for a clean install. Perhaps in the mod notes, indicate where the file should be placed? -

Same here, Aiyen. I saw basically no changes to AV packages when running them through DDSopt. I figure they're already opt'd. I even did just the normals and only 2 or 3 files were changed. -

@Neo - are you going to update Skyrim Revisited to adopt the STEP 2.2.2a hotfix changes? Mainly, switching SMIM to load after Detailed Chests and Ruins Clutter Improvement? -

Are you using Skyrim Performance Monitor to launch Mod Organizer/Skyrim for you? If so, try doing it without. I was getting CTD's when using SPM and once I nixed that they were gone. -

When using RCRN with Skyrim Revisited, is there any particular load order it should be done in? I used the Auto Installer, and I activated the ESPs within Mod Organizer, but curious as to the proper way to install and then launch Skyrim when using RCRN. Thanks. -
