  1. Oh that's right, I'm at work now...had to swing downtown for dinner. Had beta on this one, will remove and check. Danke.
  2. Ding Ding Ding. Nixing ENB Manager did the trick, and I did try out another ENB preset with the same results; sorry I didn't make that clear earlier. I just wanted to try out Project ENB specifically and it seemed rather complicated. So anyway, I just moved everything myself into Skyrim directory and bumped up to 42.5 FPS with DoF and Skylighting disabled. Wheeee...thanks all. One minor annoyance is the intensity of the Sunray when you look in the direction of the sun. I was in the woods and I had a sun ray shooting at me from eye level, through mountains! I know you can disable it, but any special tweaks now that I've got this thing working? I can post my ini if that helps. Here are two quick shots now that I have it going, at work right now so this is from my laptop at 42.5 FPS w/ DoF and SkyLighting disabled, the rest is on including AA:
  3. That's what I was asking before. When setting up the RealVision as the Injector version in ENB Manager, what files do we select? When doing the Wrapper version all you select is d3d9.dll. What files should be selected for the Injector version? ENBInjector.exe, enbseries.dll? Anything else? Sorry for the noob questions here, never got into ENBs as I was always so focused on the rest of the mods and setup. Also, here is what I've added to the enbinjector.ini file - please confirm: [TARGETPROCESS] ProcessName0=SkyrimLauncher.exe ProcessName1=skse_loader.exe ProcessName2=tesv.exe
  4. Ok so something isn't working right with the Injector version. I did a new install of the RealVision preset to ensure all options were enabled as when using the Injector one I noticed DOF wasn't being applied (an easy way to test it's working). I switched to Wrapper, and get the FPS loss. Switch to Injector and game is fine but it appears the ENB isn't being used as no effects are being applied. How do I install the Injector version in ENB Manager? Just select ENBInjector.exe instead of d3d9.dll like we do for the Wrapper? Also, is there a way to bring up the config menu while using the Injector version (Shift + Enter)? That wasn't working for me which is making me think the injector isn't firing at all, even though all the files are appearing in my Skyrim folder.
  5. Alright well this sucks. I disabled DOF, AA and Blur and basically received no performance boost in FPS; quite simply nothing. OH - and I am getting the exact same FPS issues with this ENB on my home computer as well (what I'm testing on right now). Work gaming computer and home gaming computer have the exact same FPS drop results. I want to try some other ENBs to test with, but looking at Project ENB it seems a slightly more complicated setup than RealVision. What are one or two other "easy" ENB presets to try out that mirror the simplicity of RealVision (select files and wallah). Is ProjectENB just as simple, but to also include the Data folder or was I reading too much into the setup?
  6. 0ooOoOOoOoooooohhh...let me revert and see what happens! Was all psyched to work on this last night, but fell asleep on the couch watching the Blackhawks game after the 1st period, doh! Thank goodness they won~ @Neo - what ENB preset are you using? v0.168?
  7. Nope that was my first ENB attempt. I'll try a few more this evening and report my results. Thanks all! :)
  8. Yep. Most of my stuff does fine. I just happened to notice no change at all on Trees HD Normals which is one of the suggested ones. Are your normals for that all around 1,633? I think those are the defaults. On the train and can't check.
  9. I believe I have those covered from the guide, hmm. In inspector it's just the 1 setting, right? SkyrimPref I just followed Neo's setup, so that should cover it. Yeah?
  10. Ok, so here are the different steps I tried and the results. Using ENB .168 - Disabled DOF - Disabled SkyLighting + 3-4 FPS improvement to ~8 FPS (again, this is down from my standard 45-60 FPS) Using ENB .119 - Same results as above, though the skies were much darker than when usnig .168. Daylight turned to dusk essentialy (all using the same save file) Also, in nvidiainspector, I went in and put AA - Transparency Supersampling to "Off / Multisampling". Were there any other things to change in there when using an ENB? I'm a bit stumped. Turning ENB off things go right back to normal.
  11. Noob question here, but is here some trick to using the in-game ENB editor? It's a pain in the arse having the screen fly around and your char swinging away as you try to muck ith the editor and it's built-in mouse cursor.
  12. Went from 55fps in heavy woods, to 4fps.
  13. So as not to clutter the already massive SR Feedback thread... I've just setup Neo's RealVision ENB configration and tried it out for the first time. Background, I'm using a fully modded SR, opted per Neo's recommendations and can push my install pretty far with near zero issues in performance or visuals. Upon enabling the ENB, it goes to complete ****. A total crawl. Normal loading from menu to in-game is a few seconds, with ENB RealVision enabled it's 20+ seconds. Then it takes a bit to draw things in but never fully recovers to my previously smooth state. Turning around is choppy, performance is unusable. So my question is for you ENB masters out there, what tweaks should I look in to in order to resolve this? I have a more than powerful enough rig, and I've had no performance issues to date. Disabling the ENB returns everything back to normal. I tried reducing the ShadowMaps by 50% in the INI settings but that had no positive effect. Anything else to try? I'm using ENBversion 0.168 with RealVision ENB. Thanks.
  14. Random question regarding DDSOPT. I noticed that some normals I did, mainly for HD Trees, Realistic Mushrooms and AV didn't change at all from their original versions. Upon inspection, those files are marked as read-only in the file system. Before optimizing files or creating half-size normals, should a texture folder be made to be NOT read-only? Just wondering if that's why I saw no change in normals. Not imperative, been running this setup for 3 months now but figured every bit I can squeeze out in performance I will.
  15. Interesting regarding the BOYD patch for me. I'll reinstall those mods completely instead of just making the USKP patches and see if I get different results. Thanks for the continuing great work and effort!
  16. From the update today for Immersive Animations, should probably specify to select "Dual Sword Wield -- Swords on Back", whereas right now it simply states "Dual Sword Wield"
  17. Neo - thinking the RRR-BYOD patch may be unnecessary with the new USKP. Updating the last week of changes and upon doing that particular one there were no mismatched records that I saw. And a typo, from Radiant and Unique Potions & Poisons: Since you choose the No Glow, With Booze version as part of the guide, the ESP name is actually - Radiant and Unique Potions Poisons and Booze.esp Another random edit, from the aMidianborn Book of Silence USKP patch. You'll notice that four entries here do not carry over the CRDT data, yet we're only updating two of them. Is it your intent to leave the Crit Damage for Dagger (0) and Greatsword (9) as setup in aMidianborn?
  18. Kinda my point. Same with Skyrim Project Optimization, it loads last but for the continuing influx of new folks to the SR process - it may cut down on inquiries.
  19. Neo - should a SUM.esp rule be added to BUM as part of SR? It's still not part of the boss masterlist.
  20. Log into the Wiki with your forum account, then you can view the history and select a version from last week to see everything prior to 4/20.
  21. Moonlight Tales also was just updated a few minutes ago to 1.05 (moments after downloading 1.00 for me, blargh!). @Neovalen - with the removal of Better Skill & Quest Book Names, is there a feasible replacement for books having the skills they increase appended to them that you'd recommend? Frankly, I love having the skill books easy to recognize as I scan full bookshelves and losing that feature will be teh.suck. Thanks!
  22. I deleted the old ESPs and they regenerated when I ran SUM.Right, but they won't if you select merge... at least they don't for me... I had the same behavior as statmonster. Deleted everything patch wise for AV and DSR prior to running SUM, it generates an esp for both as the patchers are running (yes, Merge was selected); and upon completion creates an AV, DSR and SUM.esp. So it's safe then to just delete these newly created ones I'm going to assume, and leave SUM as the sole one.
  23. Neovalen - with the recent addition of Animation Tweaks and Fixes, what is your recommended modification/solution to fix the issue of ATF and DSR to avoid the screenshot below?:) Basically, shield and sword now being sheathed on back, along with a backpack - mass clipping ensues. I could ditch the backpack but this early in the new game the extra space is invaluable. I like the animation tweaks of ATF so far, so I'd like to find a solution between the two that works for a sword and board character. Thoughts? (that's a Falmer Shield, Falmer Sword and a random backpack)
