Totally, Aiyen. I was thinking the same thing on the normals...I wouldn't do it to NPCs, but for critters/animals the normals seem like a smart idea. Could manually just not do the larger animal creatures such as mammoths and such to avoid the visuals issues.

Not that case, realvision in real - unrealvision:Dall light sources are too bright and intesive by default in this preset. If to look on movies - author spent too much time under the sun. UPD. Tweaked UnrealVision for a hour (to do something with hypertrophied lighting and particle effects). I think it is much more real now. Here is enbseries.ini UPD2. Use this (2nd attachment) high quality palette. Overwise dark places will be super-dark. Iroha - I'm confused by your post, as you've made reference before to another ENB preset I think that you were using. The files you put here, are they your optimized suggestions for RealVision ENB, or for a different preset? I'm trying a few out today. Nevermind, looked through your file. Appears you're just uploading to your tweaks to RealVision ENB, which you like to refer to as "UnrealVision" :) Thanks!

Is there any particular enbseries.ini tweak that can be made that directly addresses the radiance of this light source, or would it impact all light sources? Something you just gotta deal with I guess if it's gamewide. I just installed Skylight (your) ENB, trying that out now...so far so good!

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

xp32 released a new XP32 Maximum Skeleton that fixed some bits in the original 1.6 release today. -
Good lord, that's all the issue was with opt'n AV? I put the individual folders (Bellyaches, etc.) into "textures" but it was simply the individual textures themselves? Lordy... So I just did it on the overwrite/AV package using the textures\av packages\etc. folder structure and gained about 40MB overall - sound about right? AV Packages went from 1,513MB to 1,473MB

So what are the thoughts on the lighting in these screens? This is the enchanter's table inside of Dragonsreach. I'm running a full SR install, with RealVision ENB. Maybe it's just me, but the glow/radiance of these candles doesn't seem right...it's like you're staring at the sun. Thoughts? SR + RealVision ENB (Left) / SR + No ENB Used (Right)

/ashamed Thanks, Neo.

Figured it might not be a bad idea to just start a general SR support thread for help since the feedback thread is focused on actual SR feedback. I'll start this off. So was playing earlier today, then went and made today's latest changes: - Updated Lanterns of Skyrim to use Realistic Lighting Overhaul optional preset. - Added SkyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators. Removed More Village Animals and Roosters At Dawn - Updated Apahii Skyhair Natural Retexture. I also added Grass on Steroids and it's associated INI changes. I now CTD every time on the menu load. I reversed the INI changes, unloaded SkyTest and Grass on Steroids and still CTD. What would be the first steps I should in debugging this? Thanks!

Which is the tiny little nvidia logo on the far right of a line/entry if you're wondering where that button/option is, it returns the selected profile to the default nvidia setting for the profile.

Nothing more I imagine than just turning the behavior flag for AA off. I'm just weird about that stuff, so I turned mine from what I was using before an ENB to be set to none. Prior to ENB under Antialiasing - Transparency Supersampling I was using 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling. But with AA turned off, that setting is moot since the ENB provides EdgeAA.

Say what ? It is his other mod grassification that adds more grass. This one just resize the grass. If you do that along with the ini tweaks he suggest you reduce the overall amount of grass in the game, hence gaining some FPS because there is less that needs to be rendered. The smart thing with resizeing is that visually then it does not look like you removed any grass from the game. Alternatively you could also do as Neo suggets and lower the grass draw distance, this will also free up some FPS. Or a combination for even more! Gotcha. I was just going from a read of his description, he explains it as increasing the visual coverage of grass all over (at least on this page I was viewing - https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33582), the screens he showed of before/after just really did look like his explanation of wading through 5ft tall wheat fields. Hence my reaction! :) I'm going to give this a swing now, easy enough to tinker with.

That is a mega****ton of grass! Grass on Steroids indeed. Do you find that much to be just a bit too much from your use of it so far? Can tweaking the INI bring it down a notch? I feel like I'd have to remake a character as Khal Drogo and get an Arakh to just whack the grass as I walk. :)

Yeah I'm pretty happy with where everything is at now. Full SR, 2048 textures, 1024 on some others, fully opted and halved normals where needed. ENB running with everything except SkyLighting (yes Neo, I'm suing DoF! :) ). In cities I'm 40-43fps, in heavily forested wilderness I'm 22-24fps. Need to work on the outdoor areas in the woods to try and pump those FPS up. I might try doing 512x512 maps on the bark for Trees HD and see if that does anything, or perhaps disabling a tree/lush mod here or there to see what I can squeeze out of the system. Again, huge thanks to Neovalen, Aiyen, Vond and others for the great advice and support.

I know...it's stupid simple what it does. And here's the kicker, using the ENB manager it does exactly what it's supposed to...same files as if I do it manually. However doing it that method causes the FPS issues... *in my best Cousin Eddie voice/impersonation* ...I dunno! oO

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Already there under RealVision ENB tweaks. So are you saying that the below is the only thing that needs to be done in regards to nvidia users? I was under the impression that we'd have to jump back into nvidiainspector.exe and make some sort of change to the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim profile. So whether you use an ENB or not, the changes made as part of the earlier nvidia profile changes are valid. Right? Thanks for the clarification! Â EDIT - More info: So it took me going back to look at the original nvidia inspector recommendations to find that it does warrant a trip back into nvidiainspector.exe to perform the following recommended changes from the wiki author: So for ENB users, we do need to hop back in there after going through your guide (before ENB is ever mentioned), and turn AA Behavior Flags to "off" and AA-TS to "off". -
It's not having trouble with the manager, I agree it's a great tool. My problem is the manager actually prevents me from using an ENB at all for some reason. Doing it manually I get back to 45+ FPS and it works no issue, when I use it something goes awry and I'm below 5 FPS. I'd prefer to use it, but until I feel like mucking around trying to find out what the root cause is, I'm manual for now...

@bpr5016 - yeah, I just ditched using ENB Manager altogether. Works like a charm now and trying different ENB presets really isn't any more work than just copying and pasting files back over each other.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

@neovalen- a suggestion for the wiki now that an ENB is part of SR would be to provide instruction on what changes should be reversed in nvidiainspector.exe for use with the ENB. Unless you're a regular here and experienced user, many may simply not know that some of the setup early in the guide re: nvidiainspector needs to be undone. Just a thought... -
No issues here either. Try deleting your steam client and support files and let the steam client reinstall?

This game is really testing my infinite patience!!!!!
Solist replied to 7hr08ik's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Sweet mother of...that's one hell of a mod list you've got there. I don't even know where to start with suggestions. Paring down to base SR, with 1k/2k textures is a start. Quick glance shows you have a ton of script based mods going as well which could be having conflicts/save game bloat/etc. What's your VRAM at outdoors with all of that running? Have you halved your normals for the recommended texture packs? -
Can't wait to try it out tomorrow! Congrats Aiyen!

I only turned it off for testing, turning it back on I only lose 3 FPS so I'm going to run with it tonight. I actually don't mind it at all so far, was just playing with the options you all suggested to get this thing working. Sidebar I was going to try the wrapper version but it crashes on Skyrim startup (possible due to overlay)? Any workaround or just stick with injector version? Thanks again everyone for helping me work through the issues!
