  1. well this is actually mature skin in your screenshot, as I'm pretty sure this is actually the character of the creator of Mature skin lol. I don't really understand what you're looking for, but if it's simply changing the facial structure, just get Race Menu or Enhanced character edit (if you haven't already) and just screw around in the menu until you get something that you like. Keep in mind ENBs matter a lot in how characters look (particular subsurface scattering, specularity settings and the use of ambient occlusion) I think the ENB used in this screenshot is somber 3, not sure though.
  2. for reflections I'd suggest trying inside septimus' outpost or similar icy insides, i can tell you as I'm playing and I've had to reduce (or rather, increase) reflection power by quite a bit because it was going crazy, shiny stuff everywhere.
  3. Alright, thanks :p I was trying to find a way see the effect of reducing sizescale and qualities more easily to find the sweet spot for me and my system between quality and performance. With the reflection effect it's not exactly hard to see problems arise as you lower qualities (lol) but with SSAO I find it a lot harder without bumping AO amount/intensity to stupidly high values.
  4. Thank you for making an up-to-date ENB guide because good, up-to-date resources are not exactly dime-a-dozen. I'm sure that will help quite a few people (myself included :p) By the way, talking of SSAO, is there a way to enable that black and white mode / disable rendering of textures in game, like this on nvidia's HBAO+ propaganda : https://international.download.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/images/tom-clancys-splinter-cell-blacklist/tom-clancys-splinter-cell-blacklist-hbao+.jpg I saw Boris post similar stuff once to show something, but maybe he didn't make it accessible from user side hence why I'm asking.
  5. looks great, good luck with the progress :p
  6. You gotta love nvidia, you basically couldn't get 6gb GTX780s or 780Tis, had to get a 4GB 770 or a Titan but they release 8gb vram laptop cards, nice :p Anyway you're welcome ;) No idea about the memory blocks log issue sorry.
  7. Tried it in game, does what it says. This mesh essentially isn't subject to the crawling jaggies that you would get with the default / SMIM stuff. I'm only using EdgeAA in ENB and the result is 10x better than EdgeAA + Temporal AA combined. I guess it most probably decreases polycount somewhat too compared to the SMIM stuff, which is certainly welcome in Riverwood using ETaC for instance... It doesn't look as good or immersive to me as the SMIM meshes do, but I'll most probably be keeping it, the absence of these annoying jaggies is just too good to pass up :)
  8. well, yeah. but you have to admit, even though merging 1000 simple esps (weapons / clothing / armors addons / whatever) is theorically possible and not technically hard, the question remains : how the hell can someone get the need to merge 1000 esps in the first place, because that's a pretty far cry from your 50 mods-in-one plugin :D
  9. yup, no doubt 1600p is heavy (and 4K... let's not even talk about it :p) and 60 fps outdoors with ENB @ ugrids 5 is pretty impressive stuff for cards that are not even the top of the range model and very well priced :p
  10. Do you really have merged a thousand esps down to 100 lolWhen I first read it I thought "yeah right, and 60% of that are texture replacers or something" but your phrasing seems to indicate it's actual esp mods...
  11. Am I the only one surprised that you're taking a 15 fps hit going from ugrids 5 to 7 ? I mean, I'm running ugrids 9 on a single 780 (overclocked, performance must be about that of a Titan) with a homebrew, far heavier preset than Vividian (at least baseline Vividian), with fairly hardcore inis and a heavy modlist, and I drop under 30 fps fairly rarely (say like, 10 % of the time in wide open areas). (All of this @ 1080p, CPU and ram are somewhat ****ty too). With lower grass settings I could probably be above 30 pretty much all the time. I didn't check the fps hit I took going from ugrids 5 to 9, but I very much doubt it was that large, otherwise I think I'd be getting atrocious framerates with drops in the low twenties very often...
  12. "The GPU under both Valley and Heaven benchmarks only reaches 39C despite the overclock." haha jesus. Shame proper WC is that much more expensive compared to aircooling, it must be pretty cool to be able to play silently, with oc/d hardware, and with cool temperatures, all at the same time. Congrats on the build, that copper tubing gives it a unique, sort of industrial look in my opinion. Looks pretty amazing.
  13. I personally use it mostly as a reference to know which texture mods are worth getting or not. It's also great for knowing when updates are out without tracking 10000 small files, and of course I do use it for its main purpose, which is dynamically combining mods into a single archive. I can't imagine using all the mods recommended though, because outside of sheer personal reference, the list is massive and I'd fear running out of vram/esp slots/destroying my framerate. Some are alternatives (must choose between one or the other) anyway. There's quite a few mods that are included that I don't combine either, like SMIM, SFO, Better Dynamic Snow and such. Great tool and amazing work by Drigger, but (in my opinion) you should at least know a little about what you're doing before using it. I'm not sure having a noob running through the list and downloading everything would give great results lol
  14. Haha, that's exactly the mod i meant to link :D Sorry for the mistake. Actually I'm using the Skyrealism meshes and CaBal's textures on every other armor. Looks great :p Obviously CaBal didn't cover the daedric stuff yet, but I like the Skyrealism textures more than enough, so that's all fine.
  15. Main one I was thinking of is Skyrealism - Shiny https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48526/ Looks amazing imo, and pretty lore-friendly too. There's this too : https:// www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48526/ Edit : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30612/ and this one, though I must admit it's clearly not as good : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3104 Gave Aiyen's mod a quick go and it's very nice, as expected. Style is a bit different obviously because you said you wanted to do something that differs from vanilla, Still it does not stray that far off from it, at least to my eyes. If Skyrealism - Shiny didn't exist, I'd most probably use it :p
  16. looks like great stuff but you have competition, there's already quite a few good Daedric retextures out there (maybe some of them do not cover the weapons though, idk) :)
  17. used to have that problem because i had pagefile disabled (disabled it because of SSD). re-enabling it on one of my HDDs fixed the issue. (set up was similar to yours, 8Gb ram, truckload of high res textures etc...) so I'd suggest trying that if by any chance you have it disabled too.
  18. It certainly is a benefit if you're running very high res textures and stuff. I personally have slight issues with my setup at 1920*1200 with a single 780 (3gb). No doubt at 2560 res it would be quite a lot worse, and that's not even using an ENB preset with very demanding settings (like say, K ENB or Serenity at full force) or monster ini settings. Got to say, I got this card 2 months ago and am pretty happy with it, but even though I got it at a great price (basically the same as a 970) and a 970 would have fairly little more performance (like, idk, 10% at most when comparing the 2 overlocked cards?), the vram thing is almost making me regret not waiting lol. It will help making the card more future proof not only for hardcore skyrim modding, but for downsampling/4k in other games too.
  19. this is super cool stuff you have in the works there, thank you for developing this and hopefully it goes according to your plans :)
  20. It was about time they added an endorsement reminder. I'm always shocked - even though I'm not even a mod author myself - every time I see great mods that probably took tens, if not hundreds of hours to make getting insanely low (100 to 1 etc) download-to-endorsement ratios, especially considering you can pretty much mass endorse mods by going in your "download history" section. They should advertise that page too, because it really makes the process more convenient instead of having to go back on the mod page to endorse (or keeping it open while the 15 minutes pass) and all that.
  21. I hardly even see what could be improved on Quality Snow, it seems to look just right.
  22. It would be great to have a serious hardware review site make a comparison of the latest GPUs with a common ENB like say, Kountervibe. I actually kind of wonder why they don't do it since Skyrim is still a lot more popular than some of the games that are used in such reviews...
  23. I think the creator of Mature Skin has an update in the works. Not to mention, detailed as Real Girls may be, as the mod authors said in the description (apparently they changed it since) it can actually actually look too detailed and even dirty on some ENBs (probably sharpening related I guess ?). And it's only compatible with UNP-based stuff, unlike Mature Skin.
  24. Nvidias are supposed to perform quite a bit better than the equivalent AMDs with ENB. For instance here is a post on nexus from someone that went from a R9 290X to a 780 and got better framerates : https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/905060-realvision-enb/page-2431&do=findComment&comment=12875373 This was before the "miracle" drivers as well.
