  1. https://vgunetwork.forumotion.net/ <---VGU You have to earn the membership to get to download the vast majority of files, and most of the stuff in Dragbody's packs are rips from other games. His older pack is something like 10gigs of meshes and textures for armors. This new replacer pack is going through and grabbing ones that "feel" lore friendly to the Fallout Universe.
  2. Nice!
  3. Its got too many engine related drawbacks I feel. Like the issue of getting disarmed and having the weapon be set to a random condition for the dungeon. Also, it doesn't effect followers (not much does) which is the sort of thing that I personally would like to see in it.
  4. Ncrvet has another video up of Virada Enb. Personally I am still not to enthused by it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXDUOmlssL8 I think my go to is still going to be Enhanced Shaders, though I do like the effects of Rudy, I just wish it didn't ruin the sky. Like everything about Rudy is good but that ugly sky. As for Dragonskin, I didn't care for it. It doesn't "feel" like New Vegas to me. If anyone would be kitted out in that sort of wear it would be the Boomers, and they are not. Hey EssArrBee have you by chance heard about the pack that is being put together by Dragbody and his minions to create a replacer pack for the wasteland? For my personal taste it will likely need some heavy edits, but I am still looking forward to see what gets done. I know the preview shots offered of the Great Khans were pretty sexy. I think its being released as a Vgu exclusive so it really won't be available for the guide, but still, something sexy to look forward to.
  5. There is already a thread for this. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4821-snow-by-ramccoid/page-3?hl=%2Bsnow&do=findComment&comment=78263
  6. On the size, the White Phial always looked out of place to me next to the gigantic potion bottles anyway. While I agree its huge, so are all of the potions in Skyrim. They could all use a good shrink.
  7. I would still like to see a decent mod that makes it possible though. I have seen 2, one was buggy and the other just turned them into basic summons. A real "workshop" type mod that allowed you to build companion bots would be pretty cool.
  8. The Smim one looks better because it has an updated mesh. The rock vs brick is subjective, and honestly I think I prefer brick look purely because for heating purposes brick is superior to rock. There is an option through SMC for barrels that removes the opening animation that Smim gives that I personally much prefer as that animation gets old real quick. I know many others like it, which is why there are a couple of other mods that do similar things to a large number of other things. My point was, just because its Smim doesn't mean its the absolute best thing ever. I like most of what Smim does, and use the majority of its options, but that doesn't mean it wins everything forever.
  9. Ncrvet had a video up, but looks like he pulled it. Based on that vid I didn't like it at all. It made everything look burnt orange/dark.
  10. "Of course"? Really? There are a number of smim items that are better overwritten with other mods, most especially textures, though some base meshes too, like some barrels for example. By how much people are raving over Smim's smelter it is likely better in this case, I haven't seen it in game and haven't went to the trouble of looking up screenshots but "Of course" is a little overboard.
  11. I didn't realize one was meshes and one was textures, I will need to see how they work together now as I really don't like the "steam" effect and personally prefer the orange "glow" to the blue one. TPC is the Texture Pack Combiner (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20801/?), which is old and out of date and has now been replaced by SMC (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51467/?).
  12. Is it wrong to feel like if you are going to do one thing, you should do all of it? It would at least "feel" better to have all of the Dwemer automatons with the same texture shades. Makes sense to me at least that you would use slightly different alloy contents for constructs than for normal building, and it is certainly getting changed when worked by normal smiths into armor. The biggest issue with most textures is they look amazing in a vacuum, but look bad and out of place when placed with others.
  13. I thought it already was. I know its been part of tpc for quite some time, and Step tends to mirror those sorts of things. Though personally I think I like the overall effects of No Steaming Ash Piles (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32950/?) more.
  14. Does the custom mesh change the mapping? If Brumbek left the mapping vanilla like he does on much of his work them mesh+this should work fine.
  15. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54868/? Side by sides of vanilla look good, I wonder how they compare with smim.
  16. I have 2 issues with these textures. It makes the spiders stand out from the rest of the Dwemer stuff depending on what other retexs you are using (like Langley's) and while it certainly looks better, I have a hard time justifying 2k for a bloody spider!
  17. It would be a weird conflict if it does. When I was using the moon size tweaks before I didn't notice anything like that. The only issue is the often reported moon transparency issue, which last I heard was an engine limitation. What I would personally like is a sky set up similar to how Planetside 2 looks, but its really not feasible from what I have been told.
  18. For Vanilla purposes I prefer the retex by Insanity Sorrow. Generally though I prefer the moons from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6178/?
  19. I personally like this for the glow effect. It looks amazing with the dark/moody enbs.
  20. I like it, it looks good, but its still a little plain. Personally, I am still waiting for some with a little more ornamentation that isn't as overdone/garish as Apophysis. An actual creepy retex like the more "serious" ones from Unique Dragon Priest Masks (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35117/?) would be amazing too. Hevnoraak with no eyes, Otar, even Konahrik are great, just need the others done in a similar style.
  21. I will have to see if I can find it again, but at one point someone made a script to apply all of these facegen settings in Tesedit for the very reason you are describing. Found it! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41889/?
  22. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54415/? The customization options are pretty cool. Not sure how I feel about it changing the soul trap script, but the options may be worth it.
  23. I don't use MO though, so that wasn't on my radar. Thinking of switching to it for my next Skyrim playthrough though.
  24. Sounds like you either missed installing a patch, or installed the wrong patch for the body you are using.
