  1. May I ask why you wanted to disable ICAIO? I'm just curious because I thought over whether or not to include it in the Guide for a long time (I literally contemplated it off and on for at least a month).
  2. I do appreciate your arguments for this mod's inclusion, however, I think we're missing the bigger picture...on a product that is used by hundreds, we have to cater to the majority. If we catered to every small situation, then the Guide would be a bloated mess. When I say subset, I mean really small subset: https://gs.statcounter.com/screen-resolution-stats/desktop/worldwide ENB, in contrast, is used by far more users and is why it's mentioned in the Guide. It can also be used by just about anyone that meets the system requirements listed on the Guide. Now Havok Fix is the same as ENB. Though it may not benefit everyone, it's still a mod that can be used by all users regardless of their screen resolution. However, this mod doesn't fit into the same niche as ENB or Havok Fix because it should only be installed by those users running the resolutions it's made for and no one else. Installing ENB or Havok Fix = does no harm to anyone who installs them.Install this mod = breaks things for all users who install it not running at the right resolutions.See the difference? Hopefully that explains the reasoning of not including this mod. If not consider this, we had over 700 users who downloaded the v0.1.0b Patch on Nexus. Should we cater to the three that are asking for this mod to be included because they need it, while telling the remaining 700+ to skip it in the Guide? I think that's a bit unreasonable, don't you all? Now that last statement/question is, in all likelihood, an exaggeration but it should get you to thinking from our prospective and how we have to look at the bigger picture.
  3. Yep, the v3.0 SE Guide is the same as the v0.1.0b Guide. We had a mishap with the versioning when we first posted the SE Guide, since all that had to be built out on the wiki to support SE. The versioning has since been corrected. Unfortunately, it's still all stored within the same category so the category page on the wiki is a bit confusing when looking at it.
  4. Last I checked it still broke the horizon seam from Cathedral Weathers. The mod has been updated since I create the mod page. I'll have it updated as soon as LoSII is downloaded again.
  5. Looks like the author has since merged it. I've removed that from the instructions. Thanks. I've edited this section again to incorporate these two folders. Thanks. I've added a simple step to the instructions to remind users. No, you can use any ENB you like. We don't officially support an ENB on the Guide with installation instructions and all that goodness due to the choice of which ENB is a very subjective one. Users like what they like, therefore, the choice of installing an ENB is up to the user. There a too many style choices to lock users down into a specific style. It's also possible some users prefer ReShade over ENB. All that said, it's hard to find a good ENB that also fits within the STEP Mandates. I actually had found a near perfect fit, however, the author has hidden it without a reason given.
  6. Yes, you are correct. Thank you! I've fixed that.
  7. It's best to use a third party site use host your images and then just insert them into the post using the button on the editor. I use Postimg.
  8. PC (player) shadows have always been bugged in Skyrim. I'm not sure if SE improved or fixed the issue, but they've always been blocky. I seem to remember something that improved this issue, but I could be thinking of another game too. DoubleYou would know best, probably. If he doesn't notice this post after a day or two, you might kinda post in his BethINI topic with a link back to this topic or PM him. iblurreddeferredshadowmask (higher values should reduce blockiness of shadows...makes them softer...but I don't know if it'll work on the player)
  9. Okay, I've addressed this by switching back to Simple Auto Unequip Ammo, which seems to be what everyone is expecting from the Guide. Therefore, Mors Arrows is dropped from now.
  10. Discussion topic: Auto Hide Ammo by Kesta Wiki Link Dropped for the v1.0.0 release in favor of Unequip Quiver SE.
  11. I changed it to "xEdit Backups". Users are still confused by the multiple versions of xEdit (TES5Edit, SSEEdit, FO4Edit...). Keep in mind that they are all the exact same program. "xEdit" is used as a general term in the community to refer to whatever version of it is being used. So anywhere you see "xEdit", you can replace it with "SSEEdit", if that is what you have installed. I also added Greg's suggestion of using the latest timestamp when multiple files are present.
  12. Thanks! I'm so used to that mod being at the end of the Guide. I've updated the page with proper FOMOD instructions.
  13. Thanks for your report! This is one of the reasons we've released as a Beta. Small things like this are easy to miss with only one tester. I've corrected it by moving Detailed Rugs to Models & Textures, thus, letting it overwrite everything.
  14. Copy and paste works too. You have to activate all mod listings in the left pane for them to be in the game. So yes, it should be checked.
  15. I updated the cleaning instructions today. As for the MCM. No idea. You might ensure you have the mod installed correctly and active.
  16. What you are using to take screenshots?
  17. Somehow the instructions I wrote never made it in. No idea how that happened because I, distinctly, remember writing them. Oh well, I updated the section with the missing instructions. Thanks for the catch!
  18. If you have everything set up properly, then running the game from steam will not break anything.
  19. MO uses a new set of INIs for each profile in MO, and not the game's INIs. I'd let it write it so MO will leave you alone. BethINI should be pulling from your MO profile INIs and not the game's INIs anyway.
  20. You are correct and incorrect. Correct in what you've explained (highlighted). Incorrect in thinking it's a bug. That's actually how the mod works. I think what users are expecting from this mod isn't exactly what this mod does. It is not the old "Auto Unequip Ammo" mod that was used in the Skyrim LE Guide. This mod does accomplish auto hiding of the ammo, however, it goes a step further by providing a way for users to assign a Bow/Arrow combination, which the mod will force when the bow is equipped and the arrows assigned to it are available in the player's inventory. For example, say you always want to use Dwarven arrows when your Dwarven bow is equipped, with this mod, you can do that. So if you're using a steel bow with steel arrows, and switch to your Dwarven bow your ammo will switch to from steel arrow to Dwarven arrows because that is what's been assigned. The mod works by first equipping a bow and then equipping the arrows you'd like to assign to the bow. Else, vanilla behavior will be exhibited. This means when the player equips a new bow for the first time, no arrows will be assigned to it, even though the vanilla behavior is to auto-equip arrows when a bow is equipped. Mors Arrows is designed in a way that the user must select the ammo they wish to assign to the bow; it isn't going to "auto-assign" the vanilla "auto-equipped" ammo to the bow. Therefore, users think this is a bug, but it's not. Mors Arrows simply wasn't designed to auto-assign the vanilla, auto-equipped ammo. I can see where this would confuse users who are used to the old mod of just hiding whatever ammo is equipped when unequipping a bow. There really isn't a good alternative to that mod. Auto Hide Ammo doesn't actually unequip the ammo, but just hides it when a bow isn't equipped....which I suppose is just another way of doing the same thing. However, there are several reports of it not working with recent updates to the game.
  21. MO is just using the file name for those files then. I install them to one folder and merge them. Just change the name in MO to the same name when installing will give you the merge option. If you merge or keep the separate. It's not going to matter.
  22. Honestly, I didn't think it was a big enough deal to include those patches, which may or may not be out of date. If you're going around hitting those objects, then you're just fooling around because nothing in the game requires you to do so. I'd have to beg the question of why you're running around striking fires and statues. You can install them if you want, but I'd make sure the Embers HD file isn't outdated first.
  23. Thanks! Got that fixed. You need both. I used Patch Hub because the patches are all ESLs/ESL-flagged so they don't take up plugin slots. Therefore, there isn't any reason for me to include them in the patch when they won't hurt anything by leaving them in the load order.
  24. Fixed. Fixed. I just added a small comment. It should be self-explanatory without having me to input the FOMOD template. Thanks for the reports.
