I really like the textures on Better Circlets better. To me, this is simply awesome. However... But from distance they look too damn dark, which is probably the reason why I was so surprised and disappointed by the comparison screenshots on previous page. Elegant Circlets are the exact opposite. Awesome from distance, and overbright up close. WTF... And the textures are much simplier (not necessarily bad) than BC. I don't know...

I must have weird eyes then, because it's disturbing to have edges of monitor in my view :D It just completely kills the gaming experience. Besides, you don't always play games on your PC. And then 16:9 is punishing you for everything wrong you did in life :D

What? Sucks? What are you smoking over there, what?! :P I can't stand 16:9. It's so vertically crippled I can't see jack **** on those things. Goddamn industry-pushed artificial trends! They kept bombarding the world with that nonsense for so long everyone eventually accepted it. Pff!

You don't need to tell me, hehe. What I have is 24" HP LP2475w, and it's awesome (there are some very minor annoyances, but the panel itself is just great). It's actually my 2nd one, because the first one died flying across the room because of my winning personality and buddha-like patience :D P.S. Professional quality stuff starts roughly at $1500-2000 mark, imho :P

If I was to judge by Nexus screenshots, then Better Circlets would be hands down the winner for me, possibly with the enhanced gems meshes from one other mod, but looking at this I am thinking WTF?

Still, there's absolutely no shine and sharpness to them, which is weird even for 1k.

Better circlets looked SO much more better on the screenshots on Nexus... What the hell? Looks pretty crappy here, and elegant ones look badass, while on Nexus they give me the impression of 10 times the optimal amount of gamma.value.

Probably nothing. SRO is still like that as well. Moderation on Nexus seems a bit weird. No reasons no explanation for users at all. Pretty confusing.

I thought it was a retextures for potions, basically? Why would it add textures without adding new potions?

With that budget I am afraid you won't be able to get even half decent TN, let alone something better :( My monitor cost like $600, lol. Maybe 2nd hand from trusted source, that that's tough job finding.

Viewing angles shouldn't be a problem, unless you are sitting in some super awkward position which I cannot even imagine. Colour quality is a major concern, though. Depends how much are you willing/able to spend on the thing.

If you are colourblind, by all means, get a TN :D I hope we won't get into the argument of whether you can tell the difference between 60Hz and more :P

VA panel is much better than TN but I still wouldn't buy it. But it's ok I guess, if you don't insist on absolutely best picture quality (that cost you no matter what).

Zenimax? Can you tell us something about TES Online then? :D

...and it does pretty damn good job.

Lord Korn just posted "Version 2 will cover weapons (swords, axes, maces, daggers, block, draw, sheathe) and more ambience elements, especially for interiors like dungeons, perhaps animal footsteps and some other things here and there.". I think we have lots of stuff to look forward to.

Speaking of potions textures, there is already Radiant & Unique Potions & Poisons, which is pretty nice imo.

This might not be the thread for it, but I just thought: since most mods that are part of STEP have their thread, wouldn't it be good idea to add the links to the wiki?

Ha I found it. "It adds high quality textures combined with UV improved, parallax enhanced meshes." That's what I don't undestand at all. Of course, I don't know jack about computer graphics, and all these terms and abbreviations confuse the hell out of me (I wish there was some sort of glossary and explanation of stuff like LOD, mesh, etc. etc.)

Thing is, I ran into several mods that said something about having Parallax this or that, but also that Parallax is not required, which confused the hell out of me. Also, none said ENB was required at all. Uh...

Could someone briefly explain what Parallax is? I see it references absolutely everywhere, but I don't quite understand what it actually is. Another injector like ENB or something?

I noticed there was another separate atronach mod. Any plans to merge them together into one mod?
