  1. So in order to get mods like these working as intended by their authors, do I just need to install ENB, or do I also need to grab Project Parallax (Remastered)?
  2. I will have to go stalk the ENB section then, I guess.
  3. That's good to know, I have Asus card ordered as well, so this is gonna be first thing I will do when I get it. Thanks!
  4. Oh holy ****, they are everywhere. Calling penis enlargement and cheap Rolex watches!
  5. Oh ok. Damn text mode, eh?
  6. Easy there, I have no idea about your methodology. Plus, I am new here and have no idea. Forgive me for daring to ask a question.
  7. - the answer to my curious question about the textures. Ess, regarding the screenshots, did you make them with pure vanilla game or did you use ENB? According to Nexus page, if you don't use ENB, you're supposed to slap the non-ENB patch over the mod, it seems.
  8. I just checked the files and there doesn't seem a whole lot of stuff to unpack in the first place, because most of the mods are actually loose files anyway. And the rest I wouldn't want to mess with, lol. Now I just have to go through the other mods that are not part of STEP, which kinda falls into the same category.
  9. I thought loose files always take priority over bsa, so I am supposed to unpack them every time.
  10. I just never overwrite a mod with a patch, I always install those separately so I can easily go back to "vanilla" version of a mod anytime I like.
  11. My god, why are normal people being punished for refusing to use stuff like ENB? I assume it's required, seeing how the textures are absolute rubbish in vanilla game.
  12. Oh stop, stop, just stop. I submit. I am overwhelmed by completely unknown terminology. I don't know what's fighting what, and I think I don't want to know :D
  13. I thought the blurred texture was part of the bug, because further away it's pretty good. The bent corner is ridiculous, lol.
  14. Eww, that's pretty bad actually. Messed up geometry, and blurred texture? Really?
  15. Ahhh I see. Setting only for hi-end PCs, obviously.
  16. Isn't default FOV 75? If increasing it causes some problems, 80 doesn't seem like it's worth it. But speaking of PCs in general... I will be upgrading to Radeon 280x, which has 3GB of VRAM, and I am curious what kind of performance or how high settings could I expect with it. Rest of the PC is overclocked i7 3770K and 16GB RAM (that probably doesn't matter at all, Skyrim being damn 32bit application). I also don't intend to use ENB or anything of that kind.
  17. Could anyone link me to somewhere I can read what all this ugrid stuff is about, in non-programmer way? ...or just explain what this does.
  18. I know it's OT, but I love the other mod the guy made (and especially the promotional for it, and the music :D).
  19. Just got a reply from BC's author regarding the brightness: Hi. This is normal. I have the same brightness as the vanilla circlets. Rather it is "Elegant Circlets" that has a problem.
  20. I think so, I believe version 1.7 is being uploaded today (something already appeared under patches).
  21. lol noone said anything like that at all :P So FOV is Skyrim is broken? Ugh... I also play BF4 and increase it from default 70 to 90 because it just looks so much better, so if it's not possible in Skyrim, I am a sad panda.
  22. I really like the textures on Better Circlets better. To me, this is simply awesome. However... But from distance they look too damn dark, which is probably the reason why I was so surprised and disappointed by the comparison screenshots on previous page. Elegant Circlets are the exact opposite. Awesome from distance, and overbright up close. WTF... And the textures are much simplier (not necessarily bad) than BC. I don't know...
  23. I must have weird eyes then, because it's disturbing to have edges of monitor in my view :D It just completely kills the gaming experience. Besides, you don't always play games on your PC. And then 16:9 is punishing you for everything wrong you did in life :D
  24. What? Sucks? What are you smoking over there, what?! :P I can't stand 16:9. It's so vertically crippled I can't see jack **** on those things. Goddamn industry-pushed artificial trends! They kept bombarding the world with that nonsense for so long everyone eventually accepted it. Pff!
  25. You don't need to tell me, hehe. What I have is 24" HP LP2475w, and it's awesome (there are some very minor annoyances, but the panel itself is just great). It's actually my 2nd one, because the first one died flying across the room because of my winning personality and buddha-like patience :D P.S. Professional quality stuff starts roughly at $1500-2000 mark, imho :P
