  1. NEVER EVER take the highest resolution of anything. At most you might (big might) be able to have one or two 4k textures and that'd likely be pushing it. Try the 1k textures of everything then if everything is stable for a while try adding a few 2k textures (a few) and playing with that for a while. Skyrim is a 32-bit game and mirrors part of your VRAM usage into RAM (this is on top of whatever the mods with scripts you are using and the game engine eat up).
  2. It seems Will and I figured it out we think one of my patch names was too long
  3. Cleaning usually doesn't hurt unless a specific mod says it doesn't work after being cleaned.
  4. What could cause the Reproccer to crash via itself or SUM?
  5. I"m not using UFO I'm using Extensible Follower Framework I can try the one from an earlier USKP if that's what you're meaning.
  6. It does indeed look nice. As to the assertion about the other thread maybe it was your unassuming avatar Mr. Penguin man he appears guilty to me and is the likely culprit behind the theft of any potential posts in your lonely thread. Back on topic I'm downloading this and trying it out as soon as I can eliminate these random freezes in the wilderness; although this may never happen since I appear to be cursed. I however will not let that get me down.
  7. If they're as good as his/her textures for Caves and Mines and their UV fixes for dungeons then I'll likely use them regardless and I'm sure Neovalen will include them in Skyrim Revisited as well.
  8. The freezes are getting irritating. To be completely honest I have no clue what could be causing them though I suspect this latest one was caused by Real Shelter; I've enclosed the log. Does anyone know an alternative to Real Shelter? I don't know about anyone else but the whole raining underneath roofs bit gets on my nerve. Granted it could have been how fast I was traveling (Convenient Horses: Horse speed maxed out but I wasn't sprinting) but I don't think so. Also has anyone tried using the combined Book Covers of Skyrim .esp? Papyrus.0.7z
  9. I'm enabling logging as I'm still getting the CTD in the same place even after trying Will's EBV file and 1. Rebuilding my bashed patch 2. Rerunning SUM (AV, DSR and Reproccer) Edit: Attached I think it's saying I uninstalled a mod but I can't think of one. Papyrus.0.7z
  10. Ok so I've gotten a crash in combat twice so it's most likely something to do with the SkyRe install. I followed the guide except for adding ASIS, the TK and the magic mods which I do not want and as suggested disabled DUEL. Since I have amethystdeceiver's black sacrament armor I did the black sacrament armor winter is coming crafting only patch. The crash happened in Bloated Man's Grotto during the Hircine Quest. I also have Jaysus Swords, Immersive Armors. I also have Immersive Weapons (with the patches from here). All three have the appropriate DSR and I believe reproccer patches. I've also completely disabled Sounds of Skyrim and it's patches.
  11. You are not talking about the Giana's cows (or ones farmers are giving them) are you (with blue designs painted in them)? Here.
  12. So I started noticing weird paint-like designs on some of the cows and it would appear something is wrong with AV (Bellyache's Package) I've tried switching to unoptimized but the files appear the same in DDSOpt. @krypt I obviously do not enjoy the thought of having extra forges but with the game's limitations it is one of the only ways I see to fix it. However I hear you're making a crafting mod. I assume it would be tied into your Smithing Perks Overhaul and Weapons and Armor Fixes. HAve you tried incorporating some of the mods by yourself to see if it allows you to bypass the limitation? I assume with the games limitation you would have to go into the MCM menu every time you wanted to change what you saw? As in it wouldn't fix the vanilla game's crafting limitation for the number of items or whatever the issue is.
  13. Does it need a compatibility patch for any of the mods in Skyrim Revisited is my point, I haven't installed SkyRe yet I'm working on getting the base SR + Immersive Armors, Immersive Weapons and Jaysus patched and running smooth (atm I have a few freezes while on horseback so I'm trying to cover all my bases)
  14. Well I have the Dual sheath Redux patches I mean do I need to make any compatibility patches like the one for Immersive Weapons?
  15. DoYouEvenModBro Wrote'DoYouEvenModBro''41110''1371830737' Is there any reason to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8? I mean I don't really want to do it if there's no point. I was also under the impression that windows 8 was more geared towards tablet pcs and touch screens. Well if you have Windows 7 licenses then not really but eventually you will need to switch. I'm mainly switching because I'm running out of Windows 7 licenses with all the computers around here, that and my laptop has it so I'd rather just use one Windows OS and be done with it. It just helps if there are any problems. Windows 8 is more geared towards tablets (start screen interface at least) but once you get a start menu replacer it's a normal pc again and by it being made mainly for tablets it's much faster and lighter on resources. Sorry for the off topic I was replying to WilliamImm
  16. As I plan to install SkyRe later thanks for the guide. I had a few questions to ask since I am not quite comfortable going off and editing the files by myself/ I am currently using Skyrim Revisited with Immersive Armors, Immersive Weapons and Jaysus Swords. I have downloaded and added the patches from here for Immersive Weapons. I assume their should be similar ones for Immersive Armors? Also what about Jaysus Swords?
  17. Windows 8 is really not as bad as people make it out to be especially if your hardware supports it. I have yet to try it on my Desktop (Windows 8 Ready Motherboard) but even with fast boot disabled on the 5400 RPM HDD of my laptop (I use my SSD now) it only took maybe 30 seconds to boot. Which for those that don't know is comparable to the slowest Linux. Plus once you have a start menu replacer life's smooth. I do need to install the SSD in my Desktop though I just keep going back and forth on buying the Student Edition of Windows 8 Pro ($59.99) since I do still need to replace my GFX card since my desktop's GFX card is puny.
  18. Wow really that sucks. Glad I still have copies of the files in my archive. But yeah they did seem like vanilla files that had been manipulated (they were fairly well done though)
  19. Hey Cabal nice to see you around these parts. Yes I was judging my screenshots at that point (and will for a while while I stabilize my install) as I guess you had taken the file down as it said 03 Files in the downloads tab but said there were no files to download when I clicked on it. How goes progress on the BoS?
  20. The working directory is where you told DDSOpt to extract all of the files from the Vanilla .bsa files. In my case I always point it to XXXX Extracted the X's being whatever mod or asset I'm working on. In this case it would be Vanilla Extracted and would contain folders named Textures, HRDLC1, HRDLC2, and HRDLC3.
  21. No I think Aiyen is on to something I think that if Immersive Armors and Immersive Weapons and the other mods were all at a newly created forge the issue would go away. Sort of like the Skyforge weapons only being craftable at the Skyforge except that you couldn't make anything but those items at that location.
  22. Anyone experiencing a CTD in the crafting menu? I have some extras installed as in Jaysus Swords, Immersive Weapons and Immersive Armors with the appropriate Dual Sheath Redux patches.
  23. I don't like the gold one and as far as I can tell the only difference between the other two is one has a blue cloth and the other has a purple one.
