  1. This worked. I modified the Step Patch - CACO to eliminate all the changes that applied only to HFE entries. Those changes appeared redundant with entries introduced by CACO, with the exception of Jarrin Root.
  2. Yes. But I'll try making the edits you suggested.
  3. When I disabled CACO (and related patches), none of the listed items were available to be planted in the garden.
  4. After some preliminary testing, I'm finding the following errors when planting in my garden: Elves Ears (ElvesEars 00034D31) -> Pumpkin Vine (i.e., planting Elves Ears produces Pumpkin Vine) Frost Mirriam (FrostMirriam 00034D32) -> Domica Redwort Hanging Moss (HangingMoss 00057F91)-> Tomato Plant Nirnroot (Nirnroot 00059B86)-> Ash Yam Saltrice (CACO_Saltrice 01CCA116)-> Hanging Moss Wormwood Leaves (CACO_Wormwood_SF 69A1013F) -> Aloe Vera Garlic (Garlic 00034D22)-> Fire Fern I'll try deselecting various mods (I'm using all Step suggestions) and share any additional findings.
  5. I tested with and without kryptopyr's patch; in both cases survival mode is on. Without patch: - Green Apple (ID: FoodApple02) has Magic Effects value [1] -- NO HUNGER POINTS - Chicken Soup (ID: CACO_Food2SoupChicken_CookingExpanded) has Magic Effects value [2] - NO HUNGER POINTS - Cooked Brook Bass (ID: ccBGSSSE001_FoodBucketFishCooked had Magic Effects value [2] -- 200 HUNGER POINTS - Alto Noir Wine (ID: FoodDrinkWineAlto) has Magic Effects value [5] -- 2 HUNGER POINTS With patch: - Green Apple (ID: FoodApple02) has Magic Effects value [2] -- 18 HUNGER POINTS - Chicken Soup (ID: CACO_Food2SoupChicken_CookingExpanded) has Magic Effects value [3] - 380 HUNGER POINTS - Cooked Brook Bass (ID: ccBGSSSE001_FoodBucketFishCooked had Magic Effects value [2] -- 200 HUNGER POINTS - Alto Noir Wine (ID: FoodWineAlto) has Magic Effects value [5] -- 2 HUNGER POINTS Those are the only foods I have in my backpack at the moment. This save is only 5 minutes old, so I only have what I was initially given.
  6. I had no deviations from the Step Guide. However, I just added Survival Mode (CC) __ CACO (not currently part of the guide) to my install and did a LOOT sort. This seems to have added hunger restoration values to the foods I tested (soup, fish, apples). I'll do some more testing, but that patch seems to fix things for me.
  7. I have the same problem with nearly all foods. I did find that Cooked Brook Bass (purchased in Dead Man's Drink) gave 220 points of hunger restoration, however.
  8. In the detailed instructions for LeanWolfs Better-Shaped Weapons SE (in 06-Models and Textures), we are told to "Ignore Dawnbreaker ENB option, since ENB Light will provide the ENB version" when using 21-Post-Processing. Does "Ignore " mean to select "Dawnbreaker No ENB" (the option ticked in the guide) or to select "None"?
  9. You are right! I must have had the wrong link on my clipboard. I meant to say Creation Club Open Helmets.
  10. It appears that Mesh Patch for Various Mods (in 06-Models and Textures) has been updated and now include two new options not described in the detailed instructions. In particular, there is an option for Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patch (USCCCP) and another for Merged CC Misc Patches (CC Misc Patches).
  11. As I understand the intent, each of the status bars will disappear when they are at their maximum value (since there is no need to display that fact). What I am experiencing is that the health bar is displayed when the player is injured, and it continues to be displayed until the temperature/comfort level changes. For example, if I walk large distances while injured, my health bar continues to be displayed. But as soon as I stop by a fire and begin to warm up, my health bar disappears--even though my health has not improved. Nothing like this happens with the magicka or stamina bars.
  12. Atlas Map Markers SE - Updated with MCM no longer has a "main file" called Atlas Map Marker - FISS Version. on NexusMods. There is such a file in the "old files" section, however.
  13. I noticed that when using the CC Survival Mode, the player's health bar disappears even when the health is less than maximum. A small amount of testing suggests the bar disappears when the temperature/comfort level changes (i.e., when the player stands beside a fire). Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix, perhaps using one of the HUD mods included in the STEP guide?
  14. I just reached LOD generation section (STEP 5) and was wondering what settings influence LOD. In particular, does it matter whether I am currently using Low/Medium/High/Ultra presets in BethINI? And does it matter if I am using ENB? Does it matter what screen resolution I am using when I run the LOD generation? Are the any other adjustments that I need to keep an eye on?
  15. FYI: In the instructions for A Clear Map of Skyrim and Other Worlds, the "expand/collapse" button is not working. Fortunately, it seems to be in a permanent expanded state. Also, the configuration for CoMAP - Common Marker Addon Project does not mention that the variable bObscuredUndiscovered appears both under [Map] and under [HUD]. (The variable does appear twice, but with no explanation as to why.)
  16. Typo in Guide:Mod Organizer/Hide Assets: 3. To hide a file or folder, right-click on if and select [Hide].
  17. The recent (yesterday) update to Fixed Mesh Lighting has two new options for "Other > Hargraven" in its FOMOD. These involve patches for SMIM and Unofficial Material Fix. Should I uncheck these boxes since these patches may be handled elsewhere in the STEP Guide?
  18. April 2022 a version of Unofficial Material Fix (that does not require SMIM) was added to Nexus Mods. Should an instruction be added to specify which version is STEP-appropriate? (I'm assuming that the original version is the one I should be using now. Right?)
  19. That's easy! Thanks.
  20. When using ELFX - Exteriors Fixes, we have the option to use regular or ENB versions. If I choose the ENB version now and the performance test indicates that my system cannot handle ENB, will I be able to swap versions later? If similar options appear with other mods, will I be able to revert to non-ENB versions later (i.e., before 21-Post-Processing in STEP Guide 2.0.0)?
  21. Glad to help. The instructions have been really easy to follow so far! By the way, the image captions at the bottom of that section refer to 3.x, rather than 4.x
  22. In the "Clean the Masters" section, step 4 says "Follow the standard cleaning procedures to clean Update.esm, then Dawnguard.esm using the standard cleaning procedures" I believe the intent is to clean Dawnguard.esm using the specific instructions listed, rather than using the standard cleaning procedures.
  23. BethINI Baseline Configuration: The example image for "Detail" does not match either described option. Lens Flare is unchecked (agreeing with ENB option) yet Ambient Occlusion remains checked (disagreeing with ENB option)
  24. Still within STEP 2, the BethINI setup inclluded: Ensure the Mod Organizer path is correct (e.g. ..\Modding\Tools\Mod Organizer). However, the default System Setup places the Mod Organizer directly under \Modding, rather then under Modding\Tools
  25. Within STEP 2: Within SkyrimSE Installation Steps, the example file location leaves off the suggested "\Games" prefix (used in the Setup Guide) Similarly, in the Tool Setup table (xLODGen) the suggested "\Games" prefix is also missing.
