That clears most of it, thanks. One more question though. As I mentioned some records are overwritten by the STEP extended patch. Would it be OK to move the ELE and ELFX esp's so they are loaded after the STEP patch or is it better to make a patch for the records that are overwritten? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Sorry if I was unclear, I am writing from a mobile device. I am not using ELFX enhancer, I only mentioned it because the ELFX/Sounds of Skyrim patch was made for ELFX exteriors+enhancer so I had to edit out all records from the patch fixing conflicts between SoS and ELFX enhancer since I don't use that. Edit: ELE interiors seems (too me) to overwrite ELFX exteriors on several occasions. Both seems to be overwritten by the STEP patch.

I have a question regarding skylight and step extended. I tried do resolve conflicts using tes5edit but gave up because I was unsure that I was doing it right. I noticed that ELFX and ELE overwrites sounds of skyrim dungeons so I downloaded two patches, SoS ELFX patch (which had to be cleaned from all records fixing SoS/ELFX enhancer conflicts) and SoS ELE patch (which had to be cleaned from all entries fixing conflicts with SoS civilization). When this was done I noticed that on several occasions ELE overwrites ELFX, is that ok? The mods were of course sorted using BOSS. ELE and ELFX and their patches that I downloaded also gets overwritten by the STEP extended patch. Should I move the esp's to be loaded after the STEP extended patch or are the conflicts nothing to worry about? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Tried enabling/disabling Edge AA and totally agree. I am playing in 1080p so I'll try adding in SMAA and see if the impact on my system is too much (but it shouldn't be). I don't know if it's really neede though. The aliasing effects are not that bad. Thanks!

Really liking skylight. Feel like i have finally found an ENB that suits me. Thanks! I have a question regarding AA. If I choose to use SMAA or SweetFX, should I disable edge AA and subpixel AA? I also wonder witch AA you Aiyen use and why? The reason I'm asking is that I have no idea which one to use and too little time to do proper compares. Thanks!

@Kelmych thanks for your very informative answer. It's nice here in the steps forum where people take their time to kindly answer questions. Cheers! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

I'm trying to follow the DDsopt guide. The page "Using DDSopt", the page "DDSopt Optimization" and the page "Optimizing the Step mods" all have different setting on the DDSopt constraints tab. I know that the resolution-limit is supposed to be different and how it works, but the settings above resolution-limit are all different on the three pages in the DDSopt guide. Is it intentional and if so, when should the settings on the fist page, "Using DDSopt", be used?

@neovalen will there be a changelog to go from current install of skyrim revisited to the new one or will there be a need for a complete reinstall? Thanks for your hard work! -
Great choice! I'm a vegetarian too. Indian, thai and Italian dishes are easily made vegetarian imo. You said you lived in a small town, but if it's large enough and you're lucky there may be stores with Indian/Asian/Middle-East food where you can find great tofu/soy products and spices/pastes.

Thanks I'll try this!

I asked a question about the XP32 skeleton and skyrim revisited yesterday in the skyrim revisited pre-release post but didn't get any feedback. Lot of posts came directly and quite quickly after mine so I don't think anybody noticed it. Anyway, quoting myself (sort of): I have installed XP32 Maximum Skeleton with the correct options and not using integrated fomod installer. My arrow quiver is on the hip but my female character draws arrows from the back. Installing "Belt-Fastened Quivers animations only" fixes this. When checking conflicts Belt-Fastened Quivers doesn't overwrite XP32 and none of the files from Belt-Fastened Quivers can be found in the XP32 installer ("XPMS 1-8c NMM-BAIN Installer-26800-1-8c.7z") as far as I can tell. If I understand correctly these files are supposed to be in XP32? If they are not shouldn't Belt-Fastened Quivers be reincluded in skyrim revisited?

I know this has been discussed a few pages back but I'm still having issuse. I have installed XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMS with the correct options and not using integrated fomod installer. Can you explain a bit further Iroha? I've been sticking with the 1.6d xpms + cheskos quivers mod for now because I couldn't figure out this crash. I'm sure I'm not using anything more than you are, I'm using SR and a subset of the mods from your post (SkyRe etc) so the cause must be something we have in common. If you've fixed it I'd like to know the details please :) I don't use chesko's variant personally cause it's good for UNP females and not for my females bodymesh (awful clipping), but in general you should install it via external installer (not integrated in MO), choose Skeleton Rig Map, Vanilla, Bolts Quiver - Chesko, Back Hip Dagger and Back 1H Sword - Chesko Actually it's a quote from SR guide. My error was choosing bolt placement options(any non-vanilla) without choosing chesko's variants - I selected BHD only. Once I installed Skeleton Rig Map, Back hip dagger equip/unequip animations, Vanilla (it is bolt placement option and dependent from next choice), Back hip dagger - crashes dissapeared. Reinstalled XPMS again and got it to work. I don't know what the error was. Had tried multiple installs before and I'm pretty certain I did it right but maybe I didn't. I too have saome serious clipping when running, the bottom clips with the hip quiver. What did you choose instead to get rid of the clipping? -

My game CTD as soon as i remove my armor (female character, have not trtied male). I have all SR mods except Realistic Needs and Diseases. No other mods except time on loading screen and a sve hotkey mod. -

How about a little of both. Typing out the nodes full path but making the node bold to be easier to spot and simplify the layout. Maybe something like this? SoS - Civilization.esp\Cell\Block 2\000161FE: "Linked References" from HearthFires.esm to SoS – Civilization.esp SoS – Civilization.esp\Worldspace\00016d71\Block -2,0\Sub-Block -6,0\00020EE7: "XLCN – Location" from HearthFires.esm to SoS – Civilization.esp SoS – Civilization.esp\Worldspace\0001A26F\Block 0,-1\Sub-Block 0, -1\0001A276: "XLCN – Location" from HearthFires.esm to SoS - Civilization.esp "XCLW - Water Height" from HearthFires.esm to SoS - Civilization.esp -

I just did this patch and wondered where 16789 was. Thanks! I tried your suggestion to just enter the FormID in the FormID search field but it only takes me to the first instance of that FormID, in this case Skyrim.esm. FormIDs are unique, so if you have all the relevant files open in TES5Edit, when you go to that FormID via the search box it will show every file that contains it in the right hand window. Although this does mean strictly speaking that your "context" will be the earliest master for that FormID, in practice this makes no difference: as long as you follow Neovalen's instructions and drag data from and to the correct .esp's columns, the result is the same regardless of which .esp you have set as your context. The benefit to selecting the relevant .esp as your context is that it makes it easier to spot the conflicting entries as they'll typically show up in red. As Executor mentions, switching the context is really easy once you're in the record if you'd like to do that, but it isn't necessary to complete the edits as Neovalen has identified them for you already. Ok, did not know that but should have realised. It makes sense and will make it easier and quicker for me to do edits in the future. Understanding this I also agree with what you said about simplifying the format used in the guide. A simpler format with just FormID and what should be moved where would be much easier to follow and quicker for Neovalen to write down. -

This is what I see: Obviously the entry is already fixed in my file, but you can see the node is there. The only thing I can think to suggest is that you verify you have the correct version of SkyTEST, but if that isn't it then I'm afraid I'm stumped. Strange. I downloaded SkyTest two hours ago so it is the latest version. Maybe the file was updated without a version change or maybe the entry was removed when I cleaned the esp. If I remember correctly neo added the cleaning of the dragonborn esp later after he wrote the SkyTest tes5edit guide. Since the entry is missing I guess I don't need to worry about it? -

Update TES5Edit to at least 3.0.29.I have TES5Edit 3.0.29. Still don't see that node. Here is a screenshot. I am in the right location right or am I beeing stupid and missing something obvious? -

The guide says: Expand "Worldspace">"0000003C">"Block -1,-1">"Sub-Block -1,-3" under SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp and select the "00009BF7" node. I can't seem to find that node in RealisticAnimals&Predators-Dragonborn.esp Am I missing something? -

@Neovalen, in your guide it says: ATI Users: In Skyrim.ini, change "iMaxAnisotropy=0" to "iMaxAnisotropy=1" That would be SkyrimPrefs.ini, right? -

I guess the two sections configure skyrim and configure the graphics driver is no longer valid since you introduced ENB to the guide? I am using an ati card. -

Just created the compability patch between book covers skyrim and even better quest objectives. There is no conflict though, for me, in book covers skyrim.esp\book\000D1955. Am I doing something wrong or do you mean another node? Edit: Note is missing about moving BCS-EBQO Patch.esp to book covers skyrim Also, SUM.esp is not in the BOSS masterlist.
