  1. There is a mod called haze lights, Im not sure if it does the same fix but I think is worth a look. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/45210
  2. Sounds good, I rather wait for the official STEP Patch since it would better fit the guide also thank you for your guys's hard work on the guide.
  3. I have installed the L&W section, I haven't installed any extra mods for lighting and I use Bethini Ultra. Also the mod file description of Lanterns of Skyrim - MCM Version - 1 Original MannyGT says: "Light Balance Patch is highly recommended with this version, or choose a preset." https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2846?tab=files But idk if that would make any difference.
  4. Just finished installing STEP 1.0.0 and for some reason only the light sources from Lanterns of Skyrim seem to have a really bright white. https://postimg.cc/zVy14T1D https://postimg.cc/QB3GBPKV
  5. Perk and magic overhauls would be great on the guide. There is also Mysticism which is also a "vanilla plus" overhaul like Odin, but it would probably come down to preference.
  6. About blended roads for SE, I remember seeing somewhere that the version included in Cathedral Landscapes (v1.6) is outdated and that v1.7 fixes some really bad terrain seams.
  7. Discussion topic: Skyrim Remastered - Glaciers and Ice by gravos8890 Wiki Link I believe this mod could be a better alternative to Just Ice in the STEP Guide since it provides textures to glaciers/ice on both DLC's for a more consistent look overall and LOD files are also avaible. I haven't had the time to test it but I think the mod is worth a look. Screens comparing Step (Just Ice, Cathedral Landscapes, SRO, others): Step > This mod
  8. Maybe Project Clarity could be worth a look since it keeps the vanilla aesthetic, the author just released one that covers every single creature of the game and he also did the same for armors, weapons and statues.
  9. His mods are back now, I just checked his profile.
  10. This mod might be a good alternative for SSEUT and by the mod page screenshots it doesn't seem to have fake shadowing on plants. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22612
  11. I don't think there is a mod in the STEP guide that retextures vanilla lighting gradients so this upscale might be interesting. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22601?tab=description
  12. This might be worth a look since it improves the vanilla DOF a lot and makes the game look more like an ENB, it provides many customization options, like an option for a static DOF and it also applies the effect to the character's hands as shown in the shots below. 13. After downloading it myself, it does retexture everything in the game and looks good, but i agree that its not a vanilla replacement. i guess i got too excited for a mod that retextures everything (btw his site has a bunch of mods i havent seen on nexus maybe its worth a look)
  14. Discussion topic: Skyrim Vanilla Overhaul Textures PROJECT by lupus_hegemonia Wiki Link STEP SE Notes: This mod is the first that managed to retexture literally everything in the game, it will maybe/possibly be an actual replacement for Skyrim Realistic Overhaul.
  15. After the screenshots i still prefer Remiro's, for me Ren's (current STEP) is too muh fantasy but i wouldnt mind mix and matching.
