1.Still using the 1.6.16 version of SKSE, I'm using the modified SKES.ini and SSME. 2. I haven't touched uGridToLoad, the only thing I have that's related to it is Stable uGridToLoad. 3. I haven't done that yet, when I get done with work today I'll have more time to see if it's something like that. For taking away mods the only mods I took away from my current playthrough are Enchanting Freedom (Which I replaced with No Enchantment Restrictions) and RCRN (Which I replaced with Climates of Tamriel and it's patches.). -
Sudden drop in framerate after playing for a while

So after a couple of playthroughs I noticed that after a good half-hour/hour of playing I'd start to get lag. The one thing I noticed though was that it only happened outside, if I went into any interior Skyrim would go back to playing smooth. I checked via FRAPS and oddly enough it seemed like it happened in layers. My game would start and stay right around 60fps give or take, then after a half-hour/hour it would drop to 30, and then it would go to 20 shorty after. And they would generally stay within those numbers until the next drop happened and then be stable until it does the same thing again. What stands out for me is that I started to notice a pattern in when the drops happened, I'd have the 60fps and I would enter into a building and come back out with 30fps. The same happens again and goes to 20fps. And the frame rate would only shoot down outside, inside I had 60fps. I'm not even sure if it's time based due to the 'fps fine, enter interior, exit to exterior, fps falls' way it seems to go. Would anyone know why this is happening the way it is? -
Since I use RCRN it uses it's own d3d9.dll where you can change it like so via here (Look to 'Can I use ENB with RCRN?'): https://www.rcrncommunity.com/support What I'm asking is that since I don't an ENB, just ENBoost, if I change RCRN's d3d9.dll to RCRN_d3d9.dll and do the changes in the RCRN support page if that's going to mess up ENBoost somehow. Or will it be fine if I follow the directions the RCRN support page has down? Edit: Ack, the new layout of the site threw me off. This topic would probably fit better into ENB Support wouldn't it?

This looks great honestly, but it's one of those things where it's 'Is it worth an .esp?'. It seems like it's more in line with textures so the .esp doesn't make sense to me. Still, wait and see. -
Mod Organizer Error Potential Mod Order problem

I also have a potential mod order problem but this one is odd honestly. A bunch of mods are having an issue with aMidianBorn Book of Silence - Weapons. Is this a serious problem or ? -
It's been updated. It now requires with Unofficial Patches so now things like the Wuuthrad modification are removed. A few other things are added and changed, a big one being that the Ebony Blade fully leveled up anyone struck with the blade will not become hostile.

Good thing I don't use any of the mods listed except for Wet and Cold. Wet and Cold can be changed though, so I'm not really worried but I'd like to know what to changes to make it compatible. -

So what do you guys think so far? Drop Dual Sheath Redux (Sorry Neovalen...), Drop Lit Torches and Auto Unequip Ammo in favor or wait and see? It looks pretty good so far, but I'll admit that since I use DSR I'm kinda confused on how to switch to it if I do. -

I feel you. NPC Enchantment Fix is useful but it's such a pain to use SUM because of all the error messages it throws up at me. -
I was about to bring up a topic because I had no idea on what was causing the files that have been showing up in the Overwrite folder. Good thing it's okay to delete them and know where they're from.

Apologizes for necroing this, but what would any of you recommend for elves/Dunmer? Ethereal Elven Overhaul was good for a while but it feels like it needs an update along with all the patches it needs. -

I think it's the new nvidia driver as well. Right after I installed it Skyrim has been having these issue where there's noticeable lag, CTD, and this really weird problem where the game will freeze up for a bit and my monitor will do a quick 'No Signal' and then come back. Really weird and unfortunately Skyrim's unplayable as it is, I get the issue's right at the start. -

Wait, Mighty Magic might cause issues? The only thing I had was the scaling .esp and I got rid of Mighty Magic a day or so ago (Along with my other magic mods.) in favor of SkyTweaks. But I don't know if I got rid of them before or after the USKP update or if I've used Soul Trap in those times I did have the magic overhauls... Looking at how big my saves are I'm not really worried, the sizes haven't gone up much. How quickly did the save bloat happen? -

None of the mods in STEP modify Soul Trap do they? The only ones that comes to mind is Smart Souls and nothing shows up in MO that conflicts with it. -
Holy crap why is this mod not in the top 100 files in the Nexus? This can take the place of a bunch of my mods alone. Is there something dark secret I'm missing here because why isn't this talked about? I apologize if I seem...excited about this but this take the place of at least 4 mods off the top of my head and that's just from loading it up and browsing through it for 5 minutes. This really seems like it has alot of potential.

I believe so, although I do use the above mods so there might be something that lets you turn into a werewolf from one of them. I think Moonlight Tales just gives you more options in the MCM menu but I could be wrong. -
A bunch of mods in STEP show up in the Merging User Reports forum. Could a guide be made to show what mods are mergable in STEP to cut back on the .esp's?

Aela gives you another chance, but only the one. After that no more. Enhanced Skyrim Factions - The Companions Guild also gives you an option to change how many times you want Aela to offer you lycanthropy as well. I enjoyed being a vampire lord way to much to change to being a werewolf but that's what the Ring of Hircine along with Moonlight Tales and Werewolf Mastery is for. So I never needed to have Aela change me, haha. -

Added crossbows to the list as well. Really like this, it makes at least some bows look like you don't need 2 hands just for the handle anymore (I'm looking at you ebony and ancient nord/nord hero.)

Huh, and here I thought that magic overhauls adding things like Magic Missile felt out of place. Turns out it was there all along as Spectral Arrow. Not a bad spell honestly, 30 points of damage and staggering the target...wonder if magic scaling mods would effect it... .The added make others invisible spell is also pretty cool, although Transmogrify sounds like something from Calvin and Hobbes, haha. Definitely interesting but at the same time I'm wondering if anything would interfere with it.

So I started a new game and the first CTD I got was from checking the corpse from a Dawnguard patrol that help kill the first dragon you fight. I had 299 out of 300 carry weight, most of it being weapons and armor that I picked up from before that I didn't sell. I checked the Memblocks log and the numbers were 300/166. I've got the number in the skse.ini at 512/256 and I have ssme.

What do you guys recommend for bettering Skyrim's magic system? Personally for me I like using something that scales how powerful a spell is to my level in that school, the Uncapper helps in this case. I've heard good things about Requiem with it's more role-playing feel but that adds so much more than just magic. Also heard that SPERG is good too.

I immediately get an error right at the start when I try this, it doesn't matter if I start it via MO or not it's the same problem.
