The few times it happened to me the memblocks log, at most, usually gave me numbers in the 300's. I'm trying to remember if it was high 300's or not though, but the first block set up is 512 so it still should have room to move. I'll try again and if I CTD from the menu again I'll see what comes up. But with the too many items problem, this is happening to me when my carry weight is little less than 500 and I don't have many items on my person. So I'm wondering if something else is setting it off.

Apologizes for necroing this topic, but I'm also CTD randomly when basically using the inventory menu. Since Safety Load has fallen by the wayside due to Skyrim Memory patch (Which I'm using.) it shouldn't be that. I've also heard that mods that dd to the leveled list can cause that which makes since. And if you have alot of things in your inventory then that can cause it but my weight ingame is a little less than 500, so I don't see how that could cause CTD's. Could it be that something is interfering with SkyUI?

Right sorry, I meant CCOR. And yeah, I agree with you on Daedric being rare as Hell and difficult to craft....Actually, doesn't CCOR have the option to only be able to make Daedric gear at night? No wait, if we're going by lore (Which nofumasa is going for, or at least Morrowind.) in the book Heavy Armor Forging it says that the author doesn't know how to make it just that "stories say that it should always be worked on at night... ideally under a new or full moon, and never during an eclipse. A red harvest moon is best. Ebony is the principle [sic] material, but at the right moment a daedra heart must be thrown into the fire.". But that still doesn't fit with Morrowloot4E's "how do you know this" theme like how you can only learn Dwarven smithing when you get the Ancient Knowledge perk. Maybe something like you learn it from Hermaeus Mora? That could go with the Morrowind theme. Or...wait, doesn't Dagon have that shrine that's guarded by Dremora that's filled with treasure? Maybe there's a tome or something in there? That could go along with making it difficult to know how just because of all the hoops you have to jump through. Dammit, now I'm just exciting myself here. :><:

I'd like to ask a question if you guys wouldn't mind. I use CCO along with the aMidianborn patch for it. If I wanted to use Morrowloot4E but not use it's crafting system (Mostly because you can't craft Daedric...) would I put Morrowloot4E above CCO in the load order? Everything else about Morrowloot4E looks great; the changed loot system, the added items from Morrowind, the logical level list. But funnily enough the fact that I can't craft Daedric (Which I'm going to be honest, I've never really used.) bothers me. I guess I just don't like my options being taken away, haha.

True, since this has a MCM menu it would be nice to have the choice to enable/disable the damage multiplier. The sneak multiplier is already pretty crazy regarding daggers and then once you get the backstab enchantment...yeah. It does make sense to add one for sleeping enemies though, the person is asleep and unable to fight back so I see the point in adding a multiplier to that. Sitting targets are a bit of a stretch for me, but I can understand it by someone sitting back and relaxing. Not to mention that they have to get out of the chair to do anything. Actually, having said that wouldn't it make sense that you'd at least to more damage to enemies that are paralyzed? It's not part of the mod but it's an idea for it or a different one. Edit: And right having finished this post I read the author's comments that the damage bonus will be optional. So if you don't like having that wait for the mod to update.

At the moment would you guys recommend using the SKSE alpha and using: [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 or just standalone: [Memory] Enable=1 MemBlock1=512 MemBlock2=256 I hesitate to use an alpha just on the basis of being cautious but I figured I'd ask you guy's input.

WALL - Immersive Clothing & Equipment
Crimson13 replied to Nearox's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
While you're focusing on VEGA I do have a recommendation if you want to continue this. Here's a shield mod that I think is really well done: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26344/? -
SKYRIMLE Dawn of Riften (By BluePianoTwo)

Not going to lie, I just guessed. But with a female avatar and a name like Lyra you'd kinda assume. So hear's to hoping that I'm right, haha. -
SKYRIMLE Dawn of Riften (By BluePianoTwo)
Crimson13 replied to IrishBandit's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
So I've started a new game just a few hours ago and while it's not about Dawn of Riften is it about what the author did to Whiterun. Whiterun is ****ing amazing. It really adds to the atmosphere without just adding things. Whiterun's layout itself is hardly changed but BluePianoTwo just filled in the town with extra merchants, making it feel like it the city is diverse trading hub. And she didn't just place them everywhere, they feel like they're unobtrusive and in the right place. There's nice placements with some flowers and the statue of Ysragmor in the Cloud district is a nice touch. The only thing that's bothering me a bit is that there's a few animals like chickens and a goat running around when you enter Whiterun. So far I heartily approve, it really fleshes out the city with adding too much and making it tacky. If this is how Whiterun looks then I'm stoked to see the Windhelm and Riften makeover BluePianoTwo has done. And really looking forward to her work with the other cities. -
I gotta stop forgetting ****. Apparently I did do something in between playing, I updated Bring out Your Dead. And I found out that Bring out Your Dead is what's causing the issue, so if anyone is reading this and you have an older version of that don't update. Kinda weird how it could cause that but whatever.

I went through what came up in the searches and didn't find the same problem. Funnily enough though a topic you created came up but it was the opposite of me, menu options but no Skyrim emblem, haha. It came from here: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=2441&highlight=Menu Underneath the first post of yours however Neovalen brought something up: Missing main menu, yes. (corrupted ESM/ESP) So that might be the problem. But again, it's odd because I didn't do or change anything from playing, quitting, and playing later. Not a damn thing. And no, I don't use any ENB. The closest thing I use is ENBoost and the whole Skyrim Memory patch + SSME thing. Game has never run smoother with those, tell you what. ...Well, besides this. But you know, so far really nice. So I figured maybe it was the Batched Patch that went off or SUM. So I went and got rid of them and did a new one and still the same problem. However though, I didn't tick the "Run BOSS" box in SUM for one main reason. I have been getting errors popping up saying how the Batched Patch is missing a master, which is aMidianborn_Book of Silence_CCO.esp. I've gone and checked and it's wrong, the Batched Patch does have aMidianborn_Book of Silence_CCO.esp as a master. So SUM gets pissy and doesn't merge .esp's and pouts and when I bring up Wrye Batch it says that the .esp's that SUM left are corrupted. All of this doesn't happen when I untick the "Run BOSS" box though so that's what I do. And the game has been running fine so far like that for weeks. Oh, and I checked the Nvidia Control Panel and the hardware AA was set to application controlled which I assume is through Skyrim.

Skyrim loads fine, however nothing else besides the Skyrim logo comes up. No options to Continue, New Game, Load Game, etc. show up even after walking away for roughly 5 minutes and coming back. What's odd about this is that I didn't change anything about Skyrim; no new or removing mods, no ini tweaks, no change to the load order, nothing. I was playing fine, quit the game, started later and the main menu choices won't come up. Bringing up the Task Manager says that Skyrim is running, it's not coming up as "Not Responding". Anyone know what would bring this on?

SKYRIMLE Physics Impact Damage Fix (by flexcreator)
Crimson13 replied to DoubleYou's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I really like how traps, falling boulders, and the like are now more lethal. Especially when an enemy falls right into one. Not so much when it happens to me though; honestly the amount of times I've been nearly killed by things like bones, vases, and debris. You'd think that the Dragonborn moves around with football kicks instead of running. -
SKYRIMLE Immersive Sounds - Aural Assortment by lazyskeever
Crimson13 posted a topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Discussion thread: Immersive Sounds-Aural Assortment by lazyskeever Wiki Link I typically stand by AOS due to it's wide range and just in general (I really like how the Fireball sound is done for example.). However, this conflicts little with it and more little things that make it stand out. Taking and looting items gives a sound to each one; coins adds a jingle sound, potions sound like you're taking something made from glass, doors sound different depending on what they are, ect.. There's a list on the mod page that tells more. The only thing that I notice that it conflicts with in AOS is 2 things of dungeon ambiance, dwemer generic and catacombs generic. The mod author even says that it works with AOS, just to place it after. But considering it conflicts with so little I don't think it matter much. -
I've been having this problem where when I open the map there's no sound. It doesn't happen all the time but it's often. Sometimes it'll come after a few seconds with all the sound coming back rapid fire, other times it won't register unless I exit out and try again. However, when this happens I'm always ready for a crash because that's what usually happens. If I go over something or manage to click on an icon to fast-travel more often than not I'll CTD. It's like the delay/lack of sounds causes Skyrim to kill itself for some reason. Does anyone have an idea on why this would cause Skyrim to CTD?

I hate to be that guy, but this hasn't made my game better. In fact, after removing Safety Load my game is worse, I get freezes more often and infinite loading screen are coming up way more frequently. I just ctrl+alt+deleted a game because not even 5 minutes in I freeze in the middle of talking to somone. I can't see any improvements that are supposed to be happening. I really really hope that it's me doing something wrong because I can't make my game better with this along with the Skyrim Stability Guide posted before. I really want to see my game as stable as possible, but lately it's been proving impossible.
-
So all in all would you guys recommend doing what the Skyrim Stability Guide says, or are there any disagreements/changes you say are worth keeping/using?
-
It seems like I just needed to replace the d3d9.dll. A couple notifications popped up at the start and Task Manager had enbhost.exe. Thanks for the help guys. The only thing that sucks is that now that I've disabled Safety Load I seem to be getting infinite loading screens again. Safety Load doesn't have issues with it being uninstalled does it?
-
I'm pretty sure, but knowing me I screwed something up. I downloaded StableuGridsToLoad, got the enblocal.ini that fit my videocard VRAM and put it in the skyrim folder along with enbhost.exe, and the d3d9.dll file was already there (I think from RCRN, but it's date is from 12/3/11 which is odd.). I modified the SKSE.ini with [Memory] Enable=1 MemBlock1=512 MemBlock2=256 and replaced the skse_steam_loader with the one from the OP. Did I do everything correctly?
-
@sheson I alt+tabbed after starting up Skyrim and enbhost.exe didn't show up in the Task Manager. I started Skyrim like usual, through MO using SKSE. Is doing it that way not working or ?
-
Okay, so I put in the the enbhost.exe and I'm still not getting the confirmation that this is being used. I've read the OP and it's just not working for me, can anyone give me ideas on why it's not?
-
Alright, so I'm confused. I get everything else, the one thing that's confusing is the enbhost.exe requirement. Can I just stick in the enbhost.exe file or do I need to put in everything else from the enbseries binaries? And from that do I use the injector version or the wrapper? I don't want an ENB, I use RCRN and I'm happy with that. Hopefully I'm not missing something here.

So after taking a nap and doing changing nothing from beforehand it fixed itself. Sorry about that guys.

This is a computer problem. I'm hoping that this is the right place for it, I didn't see a general computer troubleshooting section so... So I'm working on my dad's computer because my half-brother screwed it all up. When I tried to fix it the internet wasn't working so I couldn't do everything I wanted to clean it out. So I brought it down where it could get a ethernet cord and suddenly the monitor doesn't recognize that that it's hooked to the computer. So I bring it back to my place and a different monitor also says that's it's not connected. Does anyone know why it's doing this?
