 Well, I Started a new game with Alternate start, in Solitude. Saved then loaded the save from post above and was able to exit 4 shields lodge. The fire is louder than it was but considering how much wood is burning and the fact that it's indoors I think the sound is ok. I still can't smell the smoke though!

I installed this mod and removed the two individual mods. I was at the four shields lodge and when I try to leave the game stops working. I can't start a new game from this lodge either,same result and I deleted the two individual mods.:facepalm:Â Oh well! It's good thing I really enjoy starting over:yes:

I have followed the instructions very carefully and the "Stop bumping into me" is the one I find most useful if it worked. Maybe the two characters that I have the problem with are "high energy" characters. The follow at a distance works fine. But my conjured familiar still runs all the way up to me and bumps me before turning around and backing off. Another thing! I mentioned after de-activating this mod the game didn't crash. I played for about 6hrs yesterday and the game is very stable and very smooth. I should also mention the version I'm running is 1.6.89

I haven't posted this on the mods comments thread yet because it seems to work okay for some people. I have installed this mod several times mainly for the "stop bumping into me" part. After installing it the game crashed during a load screen. I de-activated it and was able to play for 4hrs and no crash, Coinsedence? I'm not sure.

Oh! Okay thanks! I've got a partition all setup, to try it out when it's ready:thumbsup: one question though, if I may. What if we don't use all of STEPs mods? Will we get some sort of error if mods are in the xml file but not added to the game?

:? Uhm! pardon my ignorance but. I,m not sure what to do once I download this is there an instruction guide "for dummies" version?I noticed nothing's been posted since the 12th. To be more specific! I have mods that are in the NMM mods folder and mods that are in Wrye Installer folder. These are archives and I think all S.T.E.P. mods. Question is how do I get an xml created for these mods once I have them Installed. Or how do I incorporate? them into AHC

Red box bottom left corner next to the green Launch SKSE button is an "auto quit" Check it and Wrye will quit to save memory upon launching the game.

But you can opt to have them close after the game starts. Are they still running in the background?

This stuff goes back to the days of Morrowind. Mostly wishfull thinking. I think-ing I jumped the gun in making this statement. Upon further review these fixes or at least some of them may help. please ignore this post! Thanx!

I just deleted the first two from WS and NMM and dropped the new one and it works niiiice! Good mod!

Morrowind Overhaul is incredible it looks Great. I think Morrowind is just as entertaining as Skyrim.

I started out using RLwC because it seemed simpler to use than RCRN, Then I tried RCRN and found it more to my liking. However! I find myself having to use Imaginator to make adjustments all the time, especialy when going from indoors to outdoors. This effects overall imersivness of the game. But a lighting mod is a MUST so putting the good aspects of each mod together and achieving compatabilty is very important IMO. All and all I think things are going really well. As a matter of fact. I played yesterday for about 8 hrs before a crash. That's pretty good for this game. My specs. Win 7 Home 64 bit Phenom IIX4 970~3.8GHz 12 Gb memory ~ 1600 Radeon HD 7870Â

Thanks for this great info guys! This is the best thread reguarding graphics cards without getting to technical, that I've seen in a while. I've noticed that card companies don't use any of the Elder Scolls series games when talking graphics performance. But the way I see it is if it can run Skyrim decently, it will run future games with no problems. I'm using a 7870 now and will add another for crossfire ASAP.

Now that I've done a reinstall of my OS and did a bunch of house err... computer cleaning I wii load Resident Evil, Raccoon City and play around with it for a change of pace.

Thanks MW25 I think I'll open the folders and have a look at whats inside. I did use the steam options though.

A couple of months ago I backed up my skyrim files to disk using Steams backup. If I install these will Steam update them automaticaly to 1.6 or will they remain 1.5 as long as I have Skyrim unplugged installed before I play it?

How was this effect achieved in Oblivion? I'm not a modder so I only know that this effect is an important one. If it can be fixed without messing with the main files that's good. Otherwise we better let Bethesda fix it :facepalm:

This is a very important issue if you want an immersive environment. It is an unforgivable oversite on Bethesdas part. IMO. When completed it will be a major must have addition to S.T.E.P. :D Live Life "S.T.E.P. by S.T.E.P.

Hi all! I am using both wrye and NMM to install mods, My question is. Is one better to use to launch the game? since they both have an option to run with SKSE launcher does it matter which one is used? Also when a mod author recommends using NMM to install a mod does this mean it's ok to use wrye smash or should I use NMM instead? Is it ok to use two different mod installers?The game seems to be working very well with STEP's list of mods but I haven't played for very long yet cause I keep doing things that end up breaking the game and have to re-install. I hope to be able to use wrye exclusivley but need to do a lot more reading.
