  1. Before Troubleshooting, make sure that you set skyrim to be application controlled in your driver effects. That means never force Effects like Antialiasing, Ambient occlusion, Anisoptric filtering and so on via your graphics driver to skyrim. Effect: Ghosting / duplication effects while mooving: Is caused by Temporal Antialiasing - disable the temporal Antialiasing option in the enblocal.ini Effect: Garbadge textures, Transparent Textures, Missing Eyes, Missing particle effects: Check that you set your texture quality in the launcher atleast to "high". Also have a look if all skyrimprefs.ini Settings are correct (see Below) - there are known Issues with iMultiSample=1 and broken / missing textures. Effect: too dark interiors/Exteriors that differ from mod authors intention Cause 1: Addon and Mods - Please uninstall those Climates of tamriel Warmer and colder Interiors ELFX Enhancder Remove interior Fog Imaginator DYNAVISION (reportet only once) ETaC - Inn plugin (install without Inn's) Hialgo - PLEASE UNINSATLL! Do yourself a favor EVGA Precision X tray monitoring program - Disable! MSI afterburner when monitoring is enabled - Disable! Skyrim Winter Overaul - Changes sunset end sunrise times. Load vividian patches always after this mod! DYNDOLOD Window Light LOD. Please do not use this option. LITTLE THINGS - ATMOSPHERE (changes skymesh) Cause 2: There are cases where darkness has been stuck into the savegame by a mod that has been unsinstalled ages ago. To check this open up the console at the main menu (^ key) and type in: coc riverwood Once you are in riverwood look around and enter the next INN. Check how the interiors/Exteriors or nights look now. If its a huge difference you got a messed up savegame. Cause 3: Another reason for too dark Interiors is sometimes, that the weather system hiccups as soon one enters a door. Then it disables all light sources and it will take a bit till they fade in as the weather is changing. That seldom happens but happens. Just wait 1-2 minutes and see if the Light comes back. Please also make SURE you have all ini changes applyd to your skyrimprefs.ini (MO users need to change that in the MO profile) [Display] bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 bTreesReceiveShadows=1 bDrawLandShadows=1 bShadowsOnGrass=1 bDeferredShadows=1 fGamma=1.0000 iMultiSample=0 // turns off the game's multi-sampling AA bTransparencyMultisampling=0 // turns off transparency AA [imagespace] bDoDepthOfField=1 iRadialBlurLevel=1 Also disable Antialiasing and Anisoptric Filtering in your Skyrim prefs that are accessible via the launcher.
  2. Well, you could use any of the vividian Mods with any other ENB. All you do not need to install is the vividian install files files with the enb stuff in it. But notice that realvision for example do not have weather support at all, like you are used to in vividian. (sorry skyrimtuner, last time i looked you didnt used the enb weather system at all and thats for me atleast a no go when claiming to support COT wich consumes over 500 weather states) Anyhow vividan comes also with a sharp version in the installer for a sharper picture. ;)
  3. so far True storms look good even without compatibility patch i must say, the only thing that will be missing, as you mentiond, are the distant fog effects during such days wich is i think bearable for now ;)
  4. i think about it ;) but this then would end up with alot of more different patches for patches that needs to be maintained
  5. Just 2 compares i made that might be usefull to some people ;)
  6. @shadriss: all fixed and working perfect ;D and becasueof this, vividian 7.00 is now Final and available!! Version 7.007.00 Release: last changes from 7.0 Beta 4: - Added Imagespacefunctionality to Pure weather and Purity patch to be compatible with enb nighteye - Fixed Frost shader in the extended Lens effects - Fixed a vanilla Tundra weather - added a awsome new feature to the extended groundfogs that renders huge clouds/fogs in the distant mountains. This release also splits up Vivid clouds & Fogs and the extended Weathers into a sperate mod. The COT patches are always the same either in Vividian ENB or Vivid clouds and Fogs: Vivid Clouds & Fogs -------------------------- Extended Groundfogs - This mod adds large distant fogs in the mountains depending on the Weather and increases the deepness of the scenery. It will also cover up the Zbuffer fight mostly in the distant mountains. Also it adds extra fog effects to foggy weathers. Compatible with Vanilla, COT, PW, RCRN,Purity, NLA Not compatible with: Windy Clouds (see extended Weathers below) & the Supreme & volumetric fog Mod Make sure your iMaxDesired ammount in the [particles] section of your skryimprefs.ini is set high enough. I use iMaxDesired=5630 without problems. Load order: After any weather patch 2. Windy Clouds This mod will speed up the cloud movement cus i think they are much too slow. Not compatible with: Extended Groundfogs (see extended Weathers below) Load order: After any weather patch 3. Extended Weathers This mod combines the extended Groundfogs and Windy clouds in one conflictless mod. You MUST use this if you want to use them together.
  7. Yes its now called red light fix. (Vividian - Red light fix.esp) Made this so becasue i had to midify the original relightskyrim patch back then cus the one from jawz made ultra red lights and now i use it a global patch for people who generally experience this problem.
  8. Heads up Beta4 arrived: New: -added a fix for the Red light problem. In some cases interior Lights emmits a strong red light. This is yet unknown where it comes from but this fix (wich is only selectable in the custom install) will reset the light colors to vanilla values wich chould fix it. - Added new Lens Shaders: Frost Shaders that renders ice around the corners of the camera during snowy days. Rain shaders that adds small realtime raindrops on the camera during rainy days, static wet dirt texture that appears during rainy/snowy days and i added a bunch of special lens effects for the interiors. (also only appears in custom install when extended lens effects are selected) Changed: Lowered Interior Pointlight saturation a bit several weather edits here and there. If no serious bugs appear, beta4 will be considered as the Release Candidate. @trigon: well, other shaders means also other performance impact thats true. But yes, thats the reason why i keep the last version online so people always can fall back.
  9. @hazel hmm usually all the vividian patcehs icludes fixes against this blue smoke. Especially COT had this problem becaseu the smoke is colored in blue from the beginning on. When cloudshadows arise and the saturation is turned up this will turn them into blue smokes. Also the smoke particles where not grey also but green/blueish. So please make sure you installed the COT / vanilla patches and it would be also good to install vivid cloud and fogs to get rid of this too. @TirigonX did you used the performance version?
  10. that looks like the old Relight skyrim / ELE issues, where alot of lights give out a red light! Soemthing is defenitley wrong there. Just for the testing sake, there is a ELE fallback in the installer and a relight skyim patch. Even if you do not use Relight skyrim please install those (ELE Interiors) instead of ELE lite and see if that helps.
  11. @neovalen i should hire you :D @darkside: thats ok. every large version bump usually looks different and is a total rework. thats why leave the older verisons online still. btw Beta 3 is there: -Updated all weather patches and removed the Imagespace DOF from Clear and Cloudy days completely. This gives a very nice view now without the feeling of wearing bad glasses. - Added Purity Weather patch - Added Extended Groundfogs and Windyclouds for NLA, Purity and RCRN - Added a installer option to choose between Normal, sharp and soft image sharpness (custom install only) - Retweaked all weathers of all Weather mods to enhance sunset / sunrise epicess ;D - Retweaked Purity and Vanilla days/nights - Refined Time of Day values to give a smoother transition between Sunset - Night - Sunrise - Lots of other small tweaks i already forgot ...
  12. hi there, Have a try with the latest vividian 7.0 Beta that just got released ;) Ahyes Hishutup doesnt like the Skyrim prefs.... but hes too lazy to correct the stuff he think is wrong ;P And yes the new vividian 7.0 Beta is out! Now with support for Purity and ofcourse all the interior lightings and performance versions are back.
  13. @aiyen Yeees i do :D Benhat already gave me a new one though ;) Btw: VIVIDIAN 7 - a4 Is now available! It comes with PW,RCRN and NLA weather support. Also the nights have been overworked on all weathers. I had to disable all Lens effects from the extended Lens effects for now. Those simply wont work out the way i expected. Also there where some more Clouds added to be fully compatible with Pure weather. Enjoy! Next update will be with Brighter/Darker nights and interior options.
  14. Heads up Vividian 7 a3 will hit the Server tonight. a lot of weathers where retweaked concerning lighting, fog and sky. Also new Climates of Tamriel Weather patches are in there now. Those are melted with the Diverse weathers now and updated with the WAO weather chances(thanks to unmeix!. That means you will experience a wider range of weathers per region now and at the same time the Weather patch acts like a compatibility patch wich makes COT compatible with PW, NLA and RCRN. @keithinhanoi Ohhboy so much edits! :D Please do not edit important informations... the forum doesnt notice me about this. Just copy the enbeffectprefass files from the V6 and it will be back. Still fiddling around with that DOF ;) I must say, i didnt touched RCRN at all yet so it could be the rcrn bloom kicks in there. The new alpha lowered the imagespace bloom values so this should be a bit better.
  15. @neo thanks :) @keit RCRN. Hmmm actualy if you do not use the rcrn shader dll you can use it quiet well. Maybe some details here and there, distant fog and so on could look a bit strange. Juts make sure you use the rcrn patch thats delivered in the required files. I think within th next week i should cover all important Weather mods.
  16. Ok i uploaded that directly in the offical link for the alpha so people can download the packaged version of it for the mod managers.
  17. jesus, are you using th new MO that is so buggy? It installed fine here, can you please check if those missing directorys are in the zip that you downloaded?
  18. eh thanks;) i was being used to nexus bbcode. @aiyen hmmmm ill get back to you then ;)
  19. hm seems this forum system does not link them correctly. Have a look here: https://imgur.com/a/5qu2Z
  20. YES! it is here! The first Official Alpha version of Vividian 7. This is a complete NEW ENB like all other Vividian ENB's that get a main verison Bump. So if you ask whats changed : Everything ;) At the moment just COT and Vanilla are Supported. Also no Brighter/Darker interiors are made yet and so it is most likley incomaptible with RLO because of that. This release is for testing and bug reporting purposes only. Link: Vividian 7 Alpha Download this as Zip file and add it to your prefered Mod Manager. Vividian 7 - Vivid:
  21. ah damn, yes that explains it, still using 1.2.18 here
  22. huh cant be... can you please try something? theres a small tool: https://www.winmd5.com/ drag the downloaded archive in there and let it calculate the MD5 checksum. If its anything else than a4c70a8be81300c666af3fd29f4a4b6a then your archive is corrupted.
  23. hmm i just downloaded it from the nexus and installed it sucesfully with Mod organizer. No errors so far. Please try to redownload it. might be nexus did things during the download?
  24. nope thats basicly it. just those 4 files.
  25. hi, i just checked the install files and the enblocal.ini files delivered with vividian doesnt contain that typo. Everything is fine there so if you checked SMAA in the install procedure a alreadypatched to work enblocal.ini should be installed. It also doesnt look like a vividian enblocal.ini you have there. The vividian one got alot of comments in it. I would recommend a reinstall then without using a enb manager for the start. might be something got mixed up in there.
