Mods that should be compatible with Open Cities: Expanded Towns and VillagesPerfect Whiterun - the latest version is compatible with OCS.Solitude Docks District (?) - should be compatible; Liberation Beacon might cause issues, though.Expanded Winterhold Destruction Ruins - should be compatible, the navmeshes are updated.Scenic Carriages - compatible since 1.2.Lively Taverns Inns and Taverns - no reason not to be compatible.Interesting NPCs - same as above.Elvenwood - should work.Detailed Outskirts - Workshop only; an extension for Detailed Cities and Open Cities.Unique Taverns - conflicts with Expanded Towns and Villages, but shouldn't do with OCS.Mods that aren't compatible with Open Cities: Whiterun Outskirts Market - the author wanted to do a compatibility patch, but he doesn't know how. Let the author know if you can help.7K Better Whiterun - hasn't been in development in quite a while, I doubt it will ever be compatible.Beautiful WhiterunImmersive Cities Project - hardly compatible with anything, looks very promising though.Towns and Villages Enhanced - the towns are probably not compatible.Sexy * mods - some cities reportedly caused crashes.Nernies Solitude and Village Expansion - unconfirmed, just asked the mod's author, but I bet it's not compatible.I'm gonna edit this list as soon as I find anything more.
-
A mix of both would probably look nice, if they blend in together, that is.

Perfect Whiterun by blablubblablub. No, seriously. Now compatible with Open Cities (meaning that it should also be compatible with any mods affecting the surroundings of Whiterun area). It only affects the vegetation, as per mod's description:
-
Does anyone here use Open Cities? It's been updated a bunch of times since Bethesda fixed the navmesh issues and it seems pretty bug-free from what I've seen. Is there any list of compatible mods with this? I see that Perfect Whiterun has just been updated for compatibility, although I would prefer something like 7K Better Whiterun, but it's still a nice addition.

I've just noticed that FixParallaxBugs is set to False in this ENB. Is that OK, even if you use the Parallax mods (TPC)? On a related note, TPC ignores shaderinput folders from Project Parallax mods. Is that done on purpose too?

High REs Texture Pack info...
Besidilo replied to GraPhiXJuNkiE's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Remember to use the two fixes if you're using the loose files too. I think one of the fixes would apply to Bethesda's HR-DLC Optimized as well. -
Hosting a mod collection without the authors' permissions would be both illegal and unethical. It's not going to happen, but I agree that STEP should have a "lite" version of the guide, that has a straighforward installation of all the recommended mods listed in a clear and edible way. I've already suggested this to the STEP team, we'll see how it goes. Regarding your instability, it would be beneficial if you tested your mods setup every time you install a few core mods to be sure. I recommend Alternate Start mod for quick testing with a new game each time, seeing if anything breaks. STEP 2.2 mods should have no conflicts anyway.

Regarding Dungeons plugin, Project ENB recommended to disable them and use Dark Dungeons for ENB instead, as it simply looks better. I suspect Interiors and Nights would depend on the ENB used, since 119 has two separate settings for both. And if you're not using an ENB, it's all a matter of preference, really.

Nothing, so far. But I'm looking forward to your suggestions. :) -

Problems with shadows and land pop ins
Besidilo replied to Deathwing514's question in General Skyrim LE Support
This line was actually mentioned in the testing threads ^^ But whatever, at least now we know better :D Yup, I'm fairly sure I mentioned it to Farlo as well. -
Problems with shadows and land pop ins

I've always wondered why these instructions were in there. Perhaps it was the baseline recommended by TheCompiler, since he doesn't have the most powerful PC? -
Combat Mods - General
Besidilo replied to Besidilo's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Duel - Combat Realism seems to be getting the most support these days, so I'm leaning towards using that. -
DROPPED Breaking and Entering (byThomas Kaira)
Besidilo replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I've just realised it's Kaira's mod. Anything from him goes. :P -
This is a no go with UFO. :(

Saw this yesterday. Looks very promising and compatible with Birds of Skyrim and Birds and Flocks too.

It still doesn't make sense for High Rock's merchants to "borrow" Dwemer's technology when building their castle. Did they reverse engineer it or what? Because it's not as easy as laying down pipe, excuse the pun.
-
Really? Â Since when did the dwemer have issues with plumbing, you think its too pretty? Â Please post on the Bethesda thread your well reasoned objections if you have them. Not too pretty at all, just not fitting in a world that resembles a medieval Europe of the XII century, that's all. And don't get me started on Dwemers, "successful merchants from High Rock" would in no way be having sinks that originate from industrial Europe.

ACCEPTED Guard Dialogue Overhaul (by Eckss)

It says £20/year for me. No way am I going to pay that considering that I'd prefer to support the modders for their work, am on a tight budget lately and Nexus isn't as good as other, less supported services IMHO.
-
Looks like Nexus will be capping non-premium members' downloads even further now. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/news/169/ All they're doing is making me not want to use their service.
-
Mod Testing subforum is available for all to see, but downloading the files and posting is limited to the testers.
-
This is looking unrealistic, at best. Unrealistic as in not fitting into the Skyrim's lore, I mean.

I've been using Project ENB + Climates of Tamriel for a while now, it's the one recommended by TheCompiler and includes More Dynamic Shadows in the Optional Files. Skyrim Enhanced Shaders has always been held in high regard, it is a resource-heavy config with custom shaders, though, so you might have to tweak it a bit for performance (use the 0.119 beta). Superb ENB-RLÂ and Sharpshooters Extreme are some other popular configs. If your system is up to scratch, I'd suggest trying out some new ENB 119 configs, since that's supposed to fix the interiors.
