  1. I think it was Skyrim Unplugged. For some reason, it was not showing any version or whether it worked or not. It still doesn't, but disabling it allowed me to restore the key files. Thanks!
  2. There's something wrong with my Skyrim installation. 1) When I delete some files in the Skyrim folder and attempt to restore them using the Steam's "Verify Integrity of Game's Cache" function, it simply verifies the files and tells me everything is OK. Even when most of the files are totally gone. 2) The newly created SkyrimPrefs.ini has a different structure, some bits are missing and top info is clearly added from Skyrim.ini. 3) I can't use the Data Files function from Skyrim Launcher. 4) Before restoring the whole thing from a back up (since I couldn't restore using Steam), Skyrim Launcher would reset Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini on EVERY launch, regardless of what I did. The problems started appearing a couple of days ago, no idea what's causing them.
  3. As the title says, Combat Mods for Skyrim General. 1) What are the most popular combat mods on Nexus? 2) Which ones compliment STEP in a nice and easy way? 3) Any known conflicts with other popular mods? 4) Which depict combat in the most authentic way, and which provide a generally better gameplay? 5) What are some other gameplay mods to form a nice pack with them (non-conflicting, lore-friendly, stable, etc.)? Give me everything you've got.
  4. Lush Trees 1.4 is also out, but no changes to the files structure from 1.3. EDIT: maybe I was wrong:
  5. I think the only issues with moving from Nexus is the tracking system implemented in NMM and MO. Not an issue if you look up the changes on a daily basis, though.
  6. I thought USKP was hosted at Dark Creations?
  7. Nexus has been terrible today. Actually, it still is. I can't access most of the mods.
  8. It's been advised in STEP for a while now. Use BSAopt to extract the files, repackage, optimise and archive into a more convenient format.
  9. Skyrim -> Configure - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Tweak Guide link doesn't seem to work.

  12. So far only 101HDBugs have been hidden from the public.
  13. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/512866-101-bugs-hd-butterfly-moth-retextures-wip/page__view__findpost__p__6042431 I think it's fair to say that she should be allowed to come back.
  14. She had 5 other accounts just to endorse her own files https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/754813-83willow-banned/page__p__6021553__hl__83willow__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=6021553
  15. The author has been banned for multiple accounts and self-endorsing.
  16. I was being sarcastic, by the way. But you made me realise there really are no fat people in Skyrim. Discrimination!
  17. Seriously, it's like they're trying to get me to pay £14 for something that could be a free mod. Precisely that, it either works well with the lighting mod, or it doesn't. One thing that sways me towards using ProjectENB is its integration with MDS.
  18. Not necessarily. https://www.gameskyrim.com/explain-how-this-makes-sense-t195589.html There are more than one issue with the moons.
  19. Looks great. I wonder how well it play with Climates of Tamriel, in comparison to Project ENB. I don't mind sacrificing some effects for better performance.
  20. I don't care about these mods, but the CBBE seems more realistic.
  21. I'm glad you're using Project ENB, I really like it to and it makes me hopeful that other mods in the future STEP will be compatible with it and CoT. :)
  22. The latter.
