  1. I believe Project Nevada may be messing with the controller in some way. After removing the mod and mods that rely on it, I was able to use the controller without problems. A few users on other threads have reported this also. (maybe someone made a patch? Only found emulator profiles. Nothing native.) INO I was able to switch between "1st to 3rd person views" and "Wait" using my 360 controller without Project Nevada and PN patches. I am not certain...but I am leaning towards that conclusion. I believe a Warning should go into the STEP Fear and Loathing. But I am not sure where to put it or how to word it. Maybe a Note under the first Project Nevada Mod under User Interface?

Best to download a profile and tweak that :P Its better than xpadder/joy2key and others that I found just because of all the features. A real smooth First Person look. I use it for all my F2PMMOs ;) I bought it when it was on sale for $10 around xmas.
  3. Sweet EssArrBee. Sounds good. I bought Pinnacle a while ago. I dl a .pin=profile for it...but its nothing like the defaults. Still configuring. If I can get permission from the original uploader, I will upload it on that site. But I am glad I'm not the only one who ran into this problem. Thanks Guys
  4. Thanks for the reply redirishlord and Thank You for the suggestion. Will check that out. In the mean time, Understand that I have a Monoprice Redmere 25' HDMI cable to my TV in another room. So I can play my games in confort and in all their glory :D Though I do appreciate no elitism=which I was afraid of starting this thread :P It would seem the Pinnacle Game Profile is the way to go...the Project Nevada Pin/v2. I just have to set it up the way I like. Though I miss the Analog left thumbstick. Will have to figure a solution for that.
  5. Hello STEP! I have a problem with New Vegas/Fear n Loathing with a 360 Controller. At first I was unable to switch from 1st to 3rd person camera views. Now the "wait" menu won't come up and I am unable to wait. Both Problems are not solved yet. I have gone threw many threads and found some solutions that don't work for me. But I believe the Mods in the Fear and Loathing are interfering somehow. I am NOW downloading a Pinnacle Profile for Project Nevada. Testing that now. Thank You for your Time 😄

  8. Ah, Sweet! Thanks you sir. I am glad its a straight forward process. I think I will add rust town then :D But then again maybe ill be back with more problems. rofl TO CLARIFY: un-Tick all UI mods in MO (no to uninstall from MO) then deactivate JUST uHUD in FOMM, right? Not the others like oHUD or Darnified...etc? Then Re-Activate uHUD in FOMM. Nothing else? BUT what about the supplemental mods like: Project Nevada Implant tex fix =probably don't have to worry bout this. being a texture. Project Nevada MCM fix = but this Darnified Traits Menu = and this on the other hand... you know what? its all set up now so I probably won't add it now...but if I want to add in the future it will be good to know what I have to do...which you gave me in your last reply. Thanks again for all the HELP!
  9. When I said "2 runs" I mean I started from scratch twice. That's why I'm not going with FlashLight NVSE, after searching and not coming up with any real solutions. EDIT: Your hierarchy is quite fine. Very good actually. I'm just having trouble with Flashlight. Everything else...so far...is fine :) I have a seperate question for you. I wanted to install "Rust Town". Saw it was available in the uHUD install options. If I install that will I be safe if I just reinstall uHUD? Or do you think it will all be screwed up? No biggie :D
  10. Well after installing in order: 1=oHUD 2=flashlight 3=uHUD I was able to get rid of the error...but was not able to activate the Flashlight. But with errors to Project Nevada Hud. lol I don't know man. I really like the sound of it...but I'm removing it from my Fear n Loathing STEP...for now 2bad...was really digging the whole Helmet FlashLight feature. Oh well. Thanks for your help man
  11. Started a new game and threw the tuts. Got pip boy and grabed the Flash Light. The flash Light is equipable but not enabled. I mean It won't turn on or The Character don't pick it up out of the holster or anything like that...if thats what's suppose to happen. Tried changing it to activate to "pip boy light" setting but the error showed up when I did. UPDATE: Reading Thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/295144-flashlight-nvse/page-31 Maybe I will find a solution :D UPDATE 2: From a couple of Posts out of that Thread on nexus...It would seen that FlashLight NVSE should be installed after oHUD and b4 uHUD. Maybe? Gunna try that. But according to the MODS nexus page (at bottom) it says: "*Always install oHUD and uHUD last. And if you install any mod affecting the HUD after these, reinstall them both." So EssArrBee has it listed right. hmm...still thinking about installing flashlight nvse btween the two.
  12. Hello STEP Acolytes! On my first and second runs with Fear and Loathing I recieve the error: "Flashlight Version Error - There seems to be a problem with the HUD files. If you are using iHud, make sure you reinstall Flashlight NVSE after activating iHud." iHUD and Flashlight nvse both show up without problems but When I access the flashlight menu in MCM I recieve that error. I am still able to access the settings for both. On 1st run: I saw the Flash Light on the shelf in the Doc's home but did not pick it up and Test it out. On 2nd run: Went threw ALL menus and settings again, to see if any errors popped. After section "User Interface" =No problems except for error listed above. Was planning on ignoring this for now and see what happens after everything is said and done. Going to start a new game right now and pick up the flash light and see what happens 😛 I followed the Fear and Loathing STEP guide Verbatim. Great guide btw 😄

  14. Its all good. Came back to update. I fixed my problem :D as of April 18. Reinstalled/Downloaded E-V-E-R-Y-THING!   15. UPDATE: Installed New Vegas on my new SSD and almost the same thing is happening with MO. The intro video plays but once it reaches the "Bethesda logo" it CTD. No errors givin but I am open to a suggestion for a "Tracer program" option. If there is such a thing :P Opening Fallout New Vegas by it self: Nvse.exe / FNV4GB.exe / Launcher = work fine by them selves. Tried the different Mod Organizer "Loading Mechanisms" to no avail. I also replied to my ticket on Tannins bug tracker. Anyways thats where i stand. Have fun and Thank you for your Time :D

  17. To Disable a Mod just "un-check" it in left pane. Uninstall=Right Click on Mod in Left Pane and select "Uninstall".
  18. Cool. As for the .NET...I have problems with Microsoft DL links. At least when I get the .NET packages somewhere else say: cnet.com, I have no problem installing them. But w/e glad yea got it figured out :P
  19. so yea need .NET 3.5.1 Â =.NET 3.5 service pack 1All the .NET are different. Â I think. Â Any ways here's the DL link for that. Â Install it and then try. Â It won't override anything. Â All the .NETs are seperate from each other=is what I am trying to say.
  20. I wouldn't install anything to the Skyrim\Data directory. (SKSE you will have too) But that's the point of Mod Organizer. To Keep Skyrim Pristine while using all the STEP Mods you want :) So once you Download/install Skyrim. You 7zip that (Back it up) and put it somewhere safe. Don't worry about not finding the Manual on MO. When I first came here I had a hard time navigating the site too :D In the MO STEP Manual; Check out the Tabs @top of page. A lot of great info those Tabs.
  21. Yes Hellanios. Check them. Because when you enable the Mod on the left pane and the esp shows up in right pane (plugins). You also have to enable/check the BSA for the Mod you just enabled. As for the Exclamation point...it will show up for any errors MO deems fit to yell at you about :D I have 108 esp (including official DLCs) =no problems. Â Thats not to say you can install whatever, whenever...no no no. But STEP spends A LOT of time picking the right Mods for the Official install. Â And as for fav. Mods= Â google "skyrim STEP + (mod name)" Â Chances are sum1 has a thread about it.
  22. Yup. (Tannin is da Man!) Along with Wyre Bash, TES5Edit, Reproccer, Boss/Bum, SuM, FNIS =what I have ran threw MO. "un-checking" box in left pane will remove the esp/bsa from Load Order. "Check/enable" it again...and bam. Their back along with optional ESPs you had enabled at install of the mod. Also located under "optional esp" tab. (when you double click the mod in the left pane) All files in Mod are in far left tab under "File Tree". Have Fun :D [Off Topic] Found a Cool feature just now. I DL'd Interesting NPCs v3.04 from a torrent. Queried the info when I added the File in \Downloads and MO asked for a "Mod ID". After a google search found that if the Mod has a Nexus page, you can copy and paste the Mods page number. Which is the last number in the web address.
