Barachiel
Does dropping Inconsequential NPCs require starting a new game? I'm still in the LAL starting cell, so I'm hoping not. :D Link to comment

linar9415
Hello everyone! Darth, i have the exact same issue with skill menu lag, and i dont have an Inconsequential NPCs. I think another mod causes it. I added few mods on top of this guide, mostly from REGs guide. At first i thought Summerset Isles was cauisng it, but after deleting it lag was still there. Does anyone else experinece this issue? Link to comment
Pretendeavor
I've had it for ages and still haven't been able to track it down to a single mod :P Link to comment
TirigonX
I don't know the exact cause of this issue, but after rebuilding my modlist and removing a lot of mods it was gone. I don't think it can be tracked down to a single mod.At first I thought it was related to the dynamic patches of Dyndolod and DSR, because disabling both of them always fixed it for me. But now I have both of them active and do not get this slowdown in the perk menu. Link to comment

Darth_mathias
Personally I think lag into the skill menu some of us are suffering is just general script lag and it just showing how script heavy things are and maybe We alll need a rethink on some mods currently in the guide and do we really need them all. I hadn't installed any new mods, just updated old ones. I also had a weird bug where the game ctd'd when I tried to save. Deactivating ordinator and its patches finally let me save the game and clean it using the save game tool. Ordinator features scripts that recovers perks when installing it mid game. After letting these run for awhile after cleaning the save my lag was gone. Haven't tested long enough to see if the lag is gone forever or if it was temporary. Might be worth investigating. Sometimes I get the perks back but most of the time I don't maybe I am not doing the update procedure correcly. I know there is something you and craft a scroll at a cooking but it requires 5 Daedra Hearts. Personally i wish it was a MCM feature Edited March 12, 2016 by Darth_mathias Link to comment
Nozzer66
TBH, adding a big overhaul of any sort like Ordinator, PERMA etc mid game is probably not the smartest move. Link to comment
