Question

Hi

I think reflecting light in my game is currently too glaring, see attached image:

See the reflections off the walls? They are just like white spots, and it looks even worse while moving.

Any idea how to tweak this?

I'm using Enhanced Lights and FX mod

If it's just interiors, then you'll need to adjust the interior reflection settings in the ENB. If this is happening everywhere and not just interiors, it could be spectacular settings rather than reflections. Both can be tweaked in the enbseries.ini file.

That is specular for those particular textures set way higher than the preset is designed for.

Reduce interior specular intensity in enbseries.ini to compensate for those textures.

If it is the same textures I once tested, then it was because they where made with the intention of showing you could get that specular effect without ENB.... but ofc. when you use one it needs to be proportioned correctly.

Thanks so much for the quick replies! At least part of the problem turned out to be specular intensity turned way up.

Still, I think the lighting looks weird, as it is too intense at the surface directly facing the light source, and abruptly fading to black when the light hits at an angle:

Maybe increase ambient lighting? Don't want the dungeons to be too light though.
Any ideas?
