Ok, I think i've found my problem.  The file Skellige Ice Breath has 2 main files, both called Skellige Ice Breath Menu v 2 . 0 . 3.  One has a parentheses after the 3.

One is dated from september 2, the other from february 16.

In the old version files, there are several script files, but none are updated for 1.30.

Which file do I dl manually, I assume its the menu file dated september 2.  But which script file do I dl???  The 17 june file?

You need both main files... it appears the author named both menu when one should be named scripts. The newer one is the "Scripts" one to be installed.

speaking of Autoloot .

the way it is setup in the guide , is it only supposed to autoloot when you are picking flowers and plants ?

It should autoloot everything provided it's not stealing.

THank Neo, that has solved almost everything.

The only thing I still have an issue with is something that I think the hotfix patch yesterday might have caused related to the 1.30 and 1.31 issues people have been complaining about.  In script merger, there is an additional conflict between primer and friendlhud that wasn't there before involving ingamemenu.ws.  There are 3 conflicts I believe.  If I leave the file unmerged the game compiles and runs ok, but i'm a bit wary of doing that.

Running the steam version of the game.

I also have Steam and ran into the same problem with ingamemenu.ws after the 1.31 hotfix. I simply unmerged the scripts, reverted them back to the 1.30 version and remerged and it works just fine.

This mod page provides the 1.30 base scripts and also information about what "downgrading" means you'll lose, which in my case was not a concern:

Yes, CDProjekt was nice enough to create confusion and mass panic by now updating all PC users to a 1.31 hotfix build (still different than 1.31 GOTY) instead of 1.30... and screwed it up for the lot of us... yay!

Edit: I've updated myself to the new 1.31 and thus also the guide. Hopefully this sets you guys up.

i still get the ingamemenu.ws conflict.

This is what i found in Primer.

//modPrimer uncomment (remove the //) line below if you're GOTY user. And have a good day, you magnificent bastard.

//theGame.GetGuiManager().RefreshMainMenuAfterContentLoaded();

Should i use that?

Been following your guide to the letter, but when I start up the game after doing the merges and such I get some error. Is it something on my end I managed to screw up?

if i do this i got a conflict on r4game.ws between selectable menu and always neovalen exp

edit: ok i rolled back to GOTY 1.31

now every conflict that shows up is exaclty as in the guide.

the only problem is when i try to run the game on script compiling appears this error:

Error [content0]game\gui\main_menu\maincreditsmenu.ws(397): Could not find function 'GetChosenMainMenuType'

can't get around it since i don't know what it;s wrong...  this ws file doesn't even show in script merger so is not touched by it...
