Chuck Ess' plugin in the STEP installer with a option for no rocks for hish? I wasn't driving at DTP. If you want to use RF to solve any more of these problems, you are welcome to do so.

Well, then what mod are you talking about? I don't think your telepathy can make it across the pond.

It made it to Tech!  Dcrease Those Plants has removed rocks via NIF. Not a blank NIF by the way, because that messes them up in CK. Basically 1 polygon.

Does it cover the Rift as well?

Might as well test it out.

I think it covers all small rocks, including SFO if needed. Honestly the grass or bush part might be good for your STEP installer in RF too. You can pull anything you want out of the main mod. The decreased grass is also hardly noticeably different from vanilla and the extra performance is a plus. Just pick and choose meshes as I said if you find anything interesting.

I've been using this mod for a long time now and it's become a must in my setup. I'm recommending it for STEP:Extended. Pebble only version.

EDIT:

Forgot to say, my only complaint is that the mod hasn't been expanded yet. There are still these "pebbles" in the Rift area.

Yeah, I can't figure out where those are from, but apparently SP made the same mod and included it in one of his mods like reduced grass or something. We should just use those files and move them into the STEP installation for the Ruffled Feather.

It's called Decrease Those Plants. SP's mod simply uses empty meshes which are less than 1 kilobyte in size. This mod prevents the objects from even loading meaning is saves some VRAM usage; granted, not enough to make any difference. I'm fine with either one.

People love the grass part, as high-end users can ramp the density up via plugin and general medium-end users can get more performance (or even enebale shadows on grass). Bushes and shrubs are generally used by those on low-end systems, needing all they can get. This mod actually took longer to make than it seems. I was really trying to eye up every mesh to make sure differences were minimal.

I haven't looked but how is compatibility with stuff like SFO / Verdant Grasses?
