hellanios Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 (edited) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36917/? I think it could be the solution now that Skyrim Sunglare isn't available. There are three versions: 1) normal 2)performance and 3)COT performance Edited August 1, 2014 by hellanios
redirishlord Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Gamwich's work is running roughshod across my load order, no doubt after trying this he'll be once step closer to total domination.
Aiyen Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Because someone is going to ask... No it is not required/compatible etc. if you use an ENB preset that use the ENB sun shader (procedual sun). Sigh edit: Silly Aiyen you noob! Wrong as usual. Ofc. the sunglare texture works with procedual sun, it is the sun.dds one that does not!
DoubleYou Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I've been using this. I like it, but it probably isn't for STEP.
redirishlord Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) I'm using this with Serenity ENB, and it really takes the sunsets to a new level. I feel like I'm looking at the Bifrost, I caught the sun setting through the loopholes over the Whiterun gate and the lens flare was like a very subtle rainbow tunnel shot through with golden rays, very nice effect. I notice other users & yourself posting this is a dramatic effect, I'm wondering if the Serenity preset is muting it for me. Of course it could be that I was looking through a "keyhole" (the "windows" in the Whiterun gate wall), regardless the flare seemed just right to me. Edited August 2, 2014 by redirishlord
DoYouEvenModBro Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Redirishlord, i thought you weren't supposed to use any sunglare textures with Procedual Sun ENB?
Aiyen Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 You can just disable it if you prefer the old texture based sun. However it will also affect a few of the other effects since they rely on the increased precision in position that the procedual sun offers over the default sun.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I was told by Prod (author of Serenity) not to have any non-sunglare textures installed with serenity, hmmmm
Aiyen Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 There realized I had made a mistake and updated my initial post accordingly. Ofc. the sunglares work with procedual sun, it is just the sun.dds that does not! Sorry for any confusion! So to make it crystal clear: Sunglare.dds works fine but visuals will vary depending on ENB preset since it depends on the sun settings. Sun.dds does not work with procedual sun enabled.
redirishlord Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 They are definitely working together in some capacity, I'm getting the expected rainbow flare as well as that Serenity lighting I love.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Hmmmm maybe I'll try it out. Hey redirishlord, since you're here.....does ELFX 2.0 work fine with Serenity?
redirishlord Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I use Relighting Skyrim, and it works fine. I'm not familiar with the changes in ELFX's v2.0, but prod80 seems active on his Serenity forum, I'm sure if it needed patched or updated he'd be on it.
redirishlord Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 New versions are out (4 to choose, including "natural" & "performance") get yours today.
