Geheiligt Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Hi all, so I'm finally getting into one of my more recent characters with Requiem. I've read up on a lot of tips/advice etc, but I'm still slightly taken aback by the amount of damage some enemies take over others. For my example, I will use Dustman's Cairn dungeon, the location of the second Companion's guild quest. I have both Uthgerd and Farkas with me, and am getting absolutely demolished. Two issues so far: -I'm dealing very small chunks of damage vs. Farkas/Uthgerg killing enemies in 3-4 hits. Is this normal?-Lastly is the sheer amount of enemies inside level 2: Dustman's Crypt. Picture below for reference. That's a little overboard, no? I'm using a custom mixture of SR:LE and Requiem. Is Skyrim Immersive Creatures spawning a ton more than it's supposed to? Any advice would be much appreciated! I would back out for a 'tactical retreat' but wouldn't that slightly mess up questline progression? Being as I'm already half way through the Companion's quest.
DanielCoffey Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Draugr may need specific weapons to hit them effectively... I believe you may be lucky if you search the entrance of Bleak Falls Barrow or possibly the bodies of the Silver Hand. They do also look heavily armoured which you may not have the perks to deal with yet.
BUBISHI Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 This may not fit in here, but what kind of character fit most into a STEPcore+Requiem setting. I didn't play Skyrim much before and I'm planing a new (first) characters. As Skyrim has an action oriented combat style (compared to Morrowind which I play a lot), I wanted a mele oriented character. As people say sneaking makes a lot of fun in Skyrim I would like to try more Skyrim-sneaking.Archery looks good in Skyrim, would like to to that too.I could do all of that in Vanilla Skyrim but as far as I know Requiem says: No, chose one! With my first character I would like to follow the main quest to see most of the efforts Bethesda put into the game and the DLCs. So what is the most fitting character developement for Requiem Skyrim?

CJ2311 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 You might also be interested in the Requiem subreddit. They have a lot of informations/mini guides for the mod. Also you should totally head to Darkwater Crossing and fight the storm atronach at the North East of the settlement. :P
BUBISHI Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Storm Atronachs? Pffff.I will throw these filthy daedra back into the seven hells of Oblivion! Directions from Helgen, please?
Geheiligt Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 Thanks for the replies all! I'll try my silver weapons against them... Might need some maneuvering to avoid the 8 or so draugr :S
