2.2.9 or 2.2.8

Hi all!

 

So for some reason I did not until earlier today, know that a 2.2.9 STEP guide has been made(read: under development).

So to keep this short, can I "safely" use the 2.2.9? Because there is some changes in the installation order(noteable the Unofficial Patches), and furthermore the Better Shaped Weapon mod, which I fancy and have previously installed after STEP.

I just don't wanna "waste" time installing the 2.2.8(my HDD got wiped clean, thus I have to reinstall), if 2.2.9 is useable(/soon to be released), and even include detailed installation of a mod I otherwise just throw a top after STEP.

2.2.9 is in active development, so you can use it, but we can give support for it since it will be changing over the next week or two as we finalize testing and stuff. Order of mods could change, the STEP Patches may change, and new mods could be added. 2.2.9 Core is probably safe to use even if we add some new mods, Core doesn't get the type of mods that require you to start a new game.

Also, I moved this to general S&P.
