Dreadflopps Modular patches

To get that list you right click on the "File" section (on the top left, left most column) of wrye bash and you can list the mods.  You'll need to cut and paste list after you have the window with the list pop up.  (On vacation in Palau at the moment.)

So I've been trying to setup a new profile with SkyRe and I don't quite get how things work yet. The first instruction from the SkyRe section is to delete SkyRe_Main.esp, but this file is obviously necessary to make everything work and I don't see a replacement anywhere? But, I may very well be missing..

Another thing is that, although this is obvious, there's no mention in the Patchers section to create an executable for the ReProccer.esp nor in what order it should be executed. I ran it after NPC Enchant Fix but this apparently made no difference as LOOT still places it before all DSRP, ASIS and NPC Enchant Fix.  I've checked with TES5Edit and it apparently doesn't conflict with any of them and is only the loser of a few records from qotsafans Misc Reproccer (as it should be). But it also didn't pick up some of the changes from the CCOR_SkyRe patch and possibly others, I haven't had the time to check in detail.. There is also no mention to activate qotsafans patches after you've executed all Skyproc Patchers (otherwise it will be sorted before ASIS, etc), I only noticed this because of Garfink's load order but it seems that with that configuration ASIS and NPC Enchant Fix's perks get lost on a few NPCs.

As a side note, for anyone who is bothered by some women in Skyrim walking as if they've got a pair of gonads between their legs I've made patches for Feminine Females to use with Clothing & Clutter Fixes, Morrowloot, Bring Out Your Dead, SkyRe, UDBP and Revenge of the Enemies. I'm dropping it here in case anyone here is interested. Note you don't actually need Feminine Females to use any of them. You can merge these without problems.

Yes SkyRe_Main.esp is essential to make SkyRe work, so use my replacement esp.

You need to run the jar file with java installed, you don't need to make an executable.  What I do is manually install the reproccer/ASIS/etc stuff directly into the Skyrim directory rather than installing it via MO.  Just insure that in the future if you are updating the XML files or proccer files, like the ASIS ini files, they are located here and its probably better to just replace the files rather than install these updates via MO.  This will ensure you are using the versions of ini or xml files you intend to use.  After installing the proccers you need to create a shortcut to the respective jar file from within MO, so that the proccers know of your MO mod list!

The order you have ASIS, NPC enchant fix, reproccer shouldn't matter.  I usually run them individually with the others deactivated to ensure best functioning of the proccer process.  Also remember to activate the Pre-reproccer type files and deactivate the post-reproccer files before you start the proccer processes.

I have been told that:  Tes5edit doesn't work with any of the proccer esps and these esps should not be edited via Tes5edit.  These were invented in the days before Tes5edit, sort of like Snip and just doesn't follow Tes5edit rules.  For this reason I don't merge SkyRe patches to ensure maximum compatibility.

I have used harvest overhaul with this pack, as personally I sometimes don't like having to spam harvest everything when I am exploring.  Install it and there is a setting in its MCM that makes harvest amounts rare (not vanilla, the one above vanilla).  The pack also works fine with hunterborn as well, if you use Hunterborn, remember to edit Professions to decrease time added by skinning to 0, or it will take twice as long to skin anything.

Probably will add these as optional extras later.

Problem with HO is it does make alchemy more lucrative, so if you abuse it, it WILL break the game.  Hunterborn doesn't break the game, makes it harder actually as food is even more harder to come by (You Hunger has come a LONG way now and is super), I would decrease the meat harvested to the option 1 above vanilla so you don't end up with too much meat.  The only issue I've had with hunterborn is with the default options, you can't get back your arrows!  But if you turn on the "open inventory" option, you can skin/take meat without going through the hunterborn processes which makes the mod less immersive.

That's a super nostalgic link, this was the instructions I first followed before the advent of the Memory Patch, you could say that this was the spiritual predecessor to what I am doing now.  Its a lot more now....  The only mod from that lot that I want to install but just can't get working is mighty magick.  If anyone can get mighty magick to work with our overhaul, please do so and post the patch!

I don't think the order matters but you do need to have the previous esp, either asis or npc enchant, active in order for the next one to bring forward all of the changes.  In my load order I have asis first, then dual, then npc enchant and finally reprocc.  Asis adds perks but so does npc enchant so if asis isn't active then npc enchant will only bring forward the mods without the additional perks and, since it is last, this is all you will have and the asis perks, and possibly more, will be overridden.  Running npc enchant with asis active, however, will allow npc enchant to bring forward the asis changes as well and add the two additional perks npc enchant adds onto those.  This is, at least, the way I understand it to work and what I have seen in tes5edit.  You can run these in tes5edit, by the way, though I have never actually tried to edit them but I don't see why you couldn't.  Looking at them in tes5edit certainly gives the impression that the esp is no different than any other esp in your load order.  If you still use some of the old patches from qotsa regarding asis and automatic variants you will run into this problem (which is how I learned all of this...the hard way...).

I don't think I can play without battle fatigue now.  I'm staying away from death alternative (more scripts and esps then I can handle, I'm afraid.  Plus it was just pissing me off!) but BF is great.  Don't get me wrong, I hate it and it does nothing but piss me off as well, but in a good, immersive, "oh my god I can't just hack and slash my way out of this!" sort of way.  I've never had to rely on blocking so much since getting hit with a sword is, well, just like getting hit with a sword and some potion or simple spell isn't going to reattach my arm if I lose it.  I do recommend  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54644/?

if you use it though.  It might become too much later in the game but I'm hoping that the mcm will allow me to keep the game balanced so I'm not bandaging myself every 2 minutes or needing to rest away my injuries several times through every dungeon.  Like I said, however, it's keeping these threats in the front of your mind that makes going into each battle a much more awesome experience.

I defer to your wisdom, as I just noticed that you are absolutely correct.  My reproccer is usually on the bottom of my load order, but yesterday, loot placed it above ASIS and npc Enchantment fix and I just noticed that some of my weapons had incorrect damage values!  Explains why my Dual Shealth redux is having a crap lately.

I am using DA, it doesn't use too much scripting, but the correct settings to use it is certainly far from clear.  It also has the potential to conflict with other mods that is hard to identify.  But having said that I am not having too much problems with it.

The only thing about the battle fatigue mod that seems "odd" to me, is that the NPCs don't have it and since there isn't "true" locational damage in the game with the appropriate animations and its not like you can aim at a body portion and its not like the enemy is aiming at a specific portion of your body, its just a random die roll.  I am not sure I like it if it was random.  I wish there was a more Fallout body system (which is probably random too, with bias to body parts depending on the weapon)... but I am sure there isn't one because it works better and easier with bullets than melee weapons...  but there are melee weapons in fallout, so I am not sure why.  Certainly interested to see how your game goes in the LONG RUN, I've noticed that nuisance mods can seem fine to begin with, but become real nuisances when it really slows your game down and become more trouble than it is worth.

Please, no wisdom here, just every now and then I actually feel like I can contribute some advice.  Reading through this post, regs and srle has made me well aware of how clueless I am on a lot of the skyrim tools.  That's why I've stayed away from Loot though.  I already have boss set up like I'd like, I can quickly and easily edit the user.ini, or whatever it's called, and, when I have run loot, it has my skyprocs and bashed patch in the middle of my order, which, obviously, made no sense to me at all.  I guess I could set it to the bottom but I like the old way better and don't plan on changing until I absolutely have to.

You're making me think I should give DA another try.  I'm not sure what the conflict was but my main issue was not being able to move when I respawned into whatever scenario it would place me in.  I've ran into that a couple times before, like if my game would crash in the helgen intro and I would load a save and not be able to move.  If I reloaded the save, however, I could move just fine but with DA I was stuck no matter what I did.  I have another bug that happens if I load a game and eventually try to save it again it crashes.  Every time.  Every save I load I have to enter player.kill into the console and let it reload and then it works just fine.  I haven't been able to track that one down and quit trying once I found the work around but I have a feeling they might be related.  I might have to try the sexlab add on though, you seem high on it.  That site just creeps me out though.  My wife knows of some of the freaks out there with their naked 13 year old followers but I'd have a tough time explaining why rape makes the game more immersive.  An even tougher time if it happens while my one year old son happens to be playing in the room while I'm in the game.  You said you turned it off so I'd do the same but, still, the site creeps me out a bit.

Do you have an issue with the bleedouts or losing your gear?  Those are the other two things keeping me from giving it an honest try.  The bleedouts took too long and, if I'm deep in a dungeon, losing my gear seems like more of a pain in the ass than it's worth.  I think I really just need to try it again and see for myself.  You haven't led me wrong yet.

I too am no expert.  I would suggest that if you use BOSS and BUM which is very orderly that's for sure, I would still install loot and run it for advice.  I was testing a lot of mods and loot just made life a lot easier and in testing I found that it worked fine without much intervention on my part.

DA on its own doesn't have the adult stuff in it.  I think you mean Defeat or Submit or SA+.  I should start recording stuff I do.... I fixed all my problems with DA by uninstalling certain mods... I think Resplendent Racials with NPCs using the powers will CTD the game... you can still use it so that you are the only one benefiting or just use SkyRe Races instead.  But there may be other issues with other mods, but I am not having problems with my crazy long load order.

I have mine set to lose gold & valuables >500Gp, you can usually get the valuables back for 350-500Gp or sometimes by finding and killing your assailant.  You can also transfer the bulk of your gold to your horse for safe keeping.  Ensure your character is set to essential.  Set it manual if you want to be sure.  Setessential 00000007 1    Then the bleedout should work fine, I have left it on 10 seconds, as it allows some time for my followers to actually die, or I am back up too quickly and back in the fray and the on-death events rarely occurs, especially if you have >1 followers.  But if you don't use followers or summons, you can certainly turned the bleedout time down or better yet, just increase the DamageMult after bleed out to 2x or 3x and you will die and go into post-assault mode in 1-2 hits anyhow.

Usually getting Rob, means you are kicked out of the dungeon altogether so dying deep in a dungeon and waking up there with no equipment isn't a problem, also if you limit the valuable to >500Gp, you will still have some of your basic equipment on you, if not your horse.  Reason to keep some backup equipment on your horse.  With the decrease carryweight either via the console or the encumbrance mod, you shouldn't be able to carry all your loot with you anyway, so losing your "best" equipment isn't as much as a problem in-game as you might think.  Sure it sucks to lose your Daedric Dawnbreaker, but  you can get it back if you're desperate enough, or you can move on and stop using the damn thing for a change.  The choice is yours.  But the consequences of dying is more real than a reload that is for sure.  You just have to have a different mindset, forget about power-leveling and start roleplaying for a change of pace!!!!

I have tried Defeat, Submit & SA+, SA+ is just silly, totally weird and really breaks up the adventuring part of Skyrim with its mini-game, which is NOT mini but super time consuming and loses its novelty after a couple of plays, not to mention that its bugged as hell on Skyrim.  Submit works as advertised, but it really is just a rape mod and has nothing non-rape going for it.  Defeat is the best out of the three, it too is primarily a rape mod but it has this sub-section that elevated a little from the crowd (see below), it has alternative or additive Post-Assault events that works without the rape bit.  (it is surprisingly stable and well supported, like all things pornographic, it is in the forefront of technology! ha ha)

Post-Assault
After the scene, depending of the aggressor and his faction, different events can happen:

Rob event
The player is robbed of all his gold and valuables (above a MCM configurable gold value) and a quest to track your robber down starts. This event can happen before another one triggers.

Escape
The basic escape event, after the scene you need to fill the struggle bar to get up and run away, when you are far enough the aggressors will become hostile back. (If they were hostile before the scene)

Left For Dead event
The player and his followers will black out and get up somewhere in the wilderness.

Defeated event
The player and his followers will black out and get rescued by an adventurer and get up in a inn.

Faction events
WIP V5 beta 1 Not available for now WIP Different events can happen depending of the faction of the last aggressor.

I am particularly interested in the Faction events that are being added!

There is a Falmer Slave mod (a Death Alternative addon), that adds a great looking sub-game to the DA mod, look out for that.  (don't worry, its not a sexlab mod)  It takes you to Blackreach where there are slaves already in the vanilla game and it fleshes that out really good.  Sort of like the Cidhna Mine quest.  Looks really good.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTSkvAj8X4g

The one good thing about DA is I don't save the game before big battles any more, I just set my autosave manager to save every 7 minutes and just play.  Whatever happens is just part of the storyline!  Its also nice to be less dependent and attached to your equipment as you could lose it anytime.  With our morrowloot overhaul, it really makes it all even more delightfully painful.

I wish there was a "less sex-lab mod", that eliminates and just black-out and cuts lurid sex scenes and allow for some simple romance options that can lead to these simple in-game-time-consuming black-out sex scenes, so I could romance Victorria Vici which I have turned into a Vampiric Follower (part of an epic roleplaying game of Skyrim!) via the Better Vampire mod without having to go through a silly and boring sex scene.  Maybe there is such a mod.... I'll have a look around for it.

WOOT! I didn't know this mod had been updated! Sorry bro, my MO wasn't recognizing I'd downloaded this mod so I wasn't getting update warnings. I've been using v2.7.1 for AGES! Thanks!  ::D:

OK.. just took a quick look at the esps.. HarvesOverhaul.esp needs a Relev tag and HarvestOverhaulCreatures.esp needs Delev, Relev tags. As for the SkyRe patch, it doesn't need any Bash tags and you can easily merge it (and I'd suggest you do so) onto any combined patch you might have. Because both SkyRe and HarvesOverhaul are listed as masters, TES5Edit will make them masters of your combined patch as well and this means LOOT will sort them accordingly. If you're using BOSS just make sure the SkyRe patch (or your merged patch) sort after both SkyRe_Main and HarvestOverhaul. Hope it helps.

I checked the mod's page - The author did not recommend to add bash tag at all except possibly HarvestOverhaulCreatures.esp - Delev, Relev

This question was buried in previous posts.

Should we load HLE before or after Revenge of the enemies? Does it matter at all? Thanks.

from Asyrin:  "Revenge of enemies overwrites HLE hardcore's levelmult value which controls what level spawns are in relation to the player level. It's a global setting. I forwarded HLE hardcore's settings for those only. It works just fine. They are actually pretty close. HLE hardcore is just a little higher."

@Garfink

Ok, I think I figured out why I've been confused.  So those are stand alone mods, not add-ons for DA?  I just used DA-Your money or your life from the Nexus and didn't understand what the others added, besides rape, since it sounded like a lot of overlap.  Reading through the descriptions a little bit more closely, as well as some other posts on other pages, I finally realized that they are stand alone.  I'll probably give them a try.  Neovalen saved me a few esp slots on srle now that he's adding merging to his pack.  I had all of the patches merged but it never occured to me to merge them in with the main esp and rename the mp to whatever the main esp is called (such as with Realistic Water II and COT).
