I imagine that Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade, Clothing and Clutter Fixes and Weapons and Armor Fixes - Remade are compatible with this pack and especially Garfink's project. Any notes on what we should install ?

Just for reference or suggestions here is my load order at the moment:

Active Mod Files:
  Reveal hidden contents

Just to help you a bit with load order, I suggest you merge the following mods into your "small mods" plugin:

- Slightly Reduced NPC Greetings

- Episode Parallax

- WEBS Extended

- Ash Rocks/Sulfur Rocks

- 360Walk.. (don't really know about this but I'm betting it's a one line esp, like No NPC Greetings)

- Deadly Dragons (jk!)

- ExplosiveBoltsVisualised  (I have the non-SkyRe version, so you'll need to check this)

- In my experience all weapon mods are safe to merge (NightingaleArrow, Katana, Daedric Dawnbreaker, Black Mage Armor -check it out!-, etc..)

Right now its feature complete, but untested. It even has its own scripts and reproccer patch. Scary!

If you want to try it out pm me on the nexus.

On your combined patches plugin, were there any problems merging them? Also, on the guide it says ERSO 18 and 29 aren't recommended, but I see you are using them. Are there any problems with those and your recommendations?

CCOR is in the pack, WAF is in STEP and CCF is in the pre-install. So all are essential.

@cstarkey42

I have noticed that ALL autosaves and liable to ctd intermittantly.  No matter which one I use.  I have had no trouble with Autosave Manager.

As for DA, it won't be in the pack anytime soon, as it is purported to conflict - script-wise - with Duel Combat as it uses the same triggers, so it may not fire off as intended, I am just playing with it now for the fun of it.  I haven't noticed any problems using it with Duel, maybe its because I removed EBT, Footprint, WetCold?  I seem to have a crap load less script random-ass ctd issues after that.

I even looked at that Sanguine Debauchery mod that is suppose extended it... it is a very impressive undertaking, more so than even Death Alternative or even Tony's UDE.... its massive.... but very very very raunchy, too bad the author of this expansion went over to the darkside of the nexus.  What he could've done with his skills!

As for the merging, great to know those are good to merge, I am at "FE" again with my load-order!

I've always turned off autosaves because of that and relied on quicksaves and hardsaves instead.  It would be nice to have an autosave, however, but I like the idea of a dynamic timescale as well, especially if the mod offers both.  I think I'm going to give dynamic timescale a try and see how well that works.  I have my bashed patch set to change the timescale to 10, which is much better than the vanilla, but then it seems like you can make it from whiterun to solitude, for example, in just a few hours, implying that tamriel isn't really much bigger than a large city, like LA or something.

I think I'm going to try and give DA a try also.  It just sounds way too cool to not see how it works.  I've got a few spots at least so I might as well.  I'll start a legit game soon enough; at least now I'm playing rather than updating, merging, patching, etc...  I've gotten pretty sick of tes5edit the last few days.  Good thing you sent that message when you did; I was just about to throw them in a mp as well and see how it turned out.  I'll wait and see if they're worth keeping first.

@gpthree

I use 5 mods from this one of my favorite authors.  I will give this alternative a go in my next new game.

@sartho

Those ERSO should work fine with my project, its in my order because I am testing them.

Garfink, are there any bash tags you add to any of your patches? I have all the same mods as in your small mods combined patch, but not in the patches combined.

Also, do the patches that are in the guide need any bash tagging?

This pack looks extremely interesting! How far from completion are you guys?

Also, which other packs from STEP do you plan compatibility with?

Should we download the other three smaller main files from lore weapon expansion?

about amidianborn book of silence, I have installed it following the sr:le guide. will there be any problem?

Alright, I ran a few tests last night. Everything appears smooth but combat seems a bit weak.

I'm using the SPERG version with Garfink's difficulty setup - including duel. I did not include the deleveled world additions.

I can withstand about 4-5 power attacks at level 1 before I die to a bandit. Perhaps that's right. I'm used to playing a deleveled SkyRe. I had read, however, that combat was pretty fast with duel. Does that sound about right?

You need to take out Skyforge Weapons unless you don't want to use the content addon as described in the guide.
