Requiem Pack (WIP)

You don't need to create a patch if Azirok's patches are sorted after Requiem.

Also, you can edit LOOT's metadata. I didn't say "never edit the metadata." Just remember that you did.

There were a lot of things I found not covered by Azirok's patches regarding the conflicts. I'm sure this was because of a different LO (If Requiem were to be loaded after CCF/WAF, there would be no need for the changes I've added to the patch).

I would honestly rather just let LOOT do it's own thing. Even though in this case it would make things easier as creating a patch could be avoided by simply changing the LO.

I have a stable game going on now so I'm just going to leave it.

It is my understanding that changes made by WAF Remade and Clothing & Clutter Fixes are already integrated into the CCOR patch, but Azirok may have been saying that you still need the masters. If you want to be on the safe side, just install WAF Remade, Clothing & Clutter Fixes, CCOR, and Azirok's patches for each.

Just in case adding new seperate patches is a little bit to much messing with new .esps for me: in my LOOT load order WAF Remade comes almost after Requem

As the other mods inbetween don't change weapons could I do it quick&dirty by sorting W&AF_remade just before Requiem?

I know this is not the way you recommend and it won't solve other conflicts, it's just a solution until I have learned how to create a superpatch that addresses all conflicts.

You could probably even remove WAF as suggested.

If you wish to keep it though, I would advise you to place it before requiem as there are a lot of conflicts between the two.

It doesn't matter as long as Azirok's patch comes after WAF Remade and Requiem. Azirok has already done the work of resolving the conflicts for you, so I'm not sure why this is an issue.

There are things that aren't addressed by Azirok's patch for WAF as well as CCF. I'm assuming he didn't resolve these conflicts due to LO.

Here's two simple examples of conflicts created by WAF.

No, Azirok did resolve them by deferring to Requiem.

Not all WAF Remade changes should be carried over. Many should be overridden with records that defer to Requiem to maintain Requiem's balance.

The key thing is that WAF Remade's keywords are carried over.

There's nothing left for you to do when Azirok makes a patch except ensure that his patch isn't itself overridden in a bad way.

That I understand, however, looking at the first link, you'll see that for the glass arrow record, WAF uses the vanilla value for the damage. Shouldn't Requiem's value instead be carried over in Azirok's patch?

I mean it would have made sense if the rest of the ammunition records were using WAF values and not defined in Azirok's patch, however, it doesn't really make much sense to me.

If you could clarify this, maybe I could understand all of this better.

The Requiem WAF patch does carry forward Requiem's damage value in that link. A damage value of 35 instead of 18 and a cost value of 15 instead of 6 or 8 for the glass arrow. Remember the last file on the right is the one that wins the conflict.

Well, which of those values should be carried over really depends on the Requiem balance. To be honest I actually do not know how "accurate" those values are anyway, Requiem's balance probably has it's own little weaknesses here and there. And remember it's a computer game, "realism" is very limited by gamey combat mechanics and whatnot, so it's really open to interpretation of the fantasy world. A side note: In medieval Scandinavia a decent sword and fullplate was probably worth several months of good food and shelter.

If you are for some reason unhappy with certain changes, changing them in T5E is really easy. I would unequip the items in question first and create a new save game though (dunno if that's really necessary, just as precaution).

The only thing I wanted to have a second look at are perk changes. The way I understand things, some of the WAF keywords need perk changes to work but my knowledge of how perks work really is way too limited to truly understand what's going on.

I just realized I should have been a lot more clear to everyone with the link I posted. The last plugin in the image is the conflict patch I created myself.

If you look at the LO on the left, you'll see Azirok's WAF patch loaded before my conflict patch. I was trying to show that his patch wasn't modifying those specific records which I added to my custom patch.

The thing is, as I believe I've stated before. Azirok uses his own LO which he posted on his page

He loads Requiem after WAF so there technically wouldn't be these conflicts as Requiem would be the conflict winner. I don't think he uses LOOT, but I guess I could bring it to his attention for the people that do. Doesn't seem like anyone that uses his patch from that page do though..

This is also the cause in the change of perk descriptions and missing smithing books requirements I have noticed. If I move WAF before Requiem the problems are gone as far I can see.

Yes. That's what I've also noticed myself and had to add them to my own conflict patch.
