Ivan Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Hey everyone :) https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1118 I've been using this for a while now and this music mod is just great. It fits incredibly well with Skyrim imo, adding a lot of atmosphere especially to dungeons. It has music for exploring at day/night, towns, big cities and inns; they all fit very very well. It has some combat music as well which I find very nice since vanilla music gets a little repetitive at times. Of course it's a matter of taste but you can always go back so all should be good. There is a download link with the mp3-files at the description too.
Bealdwine Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Interesting. As noted in the Nexus forum thread you could also use Personalized Music - Add your own music to Skyrim by No_Aardvarks_Allowed to use these new tunes alongside the vanilla originals without overwritting and losing them.
frihyland Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I love this mod aside from a few editing errors on the music, the base music in Skyrim however is just stunning so I'll never use a replacer again. Perhaps a version that added these as additional variety would be nice though. Edit: thanks B that's just what I wanted

MontyMM Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Good find Ivan, and another from Beald! Completely agree that the vanilla soundtrack is superb, but that adding more quality tracks for variety has got to be a win. I wonder how TC views this. Personally, I think that adding (not replacing) more quality music seems like a natural aesthetic improvement for inclusion in STEP. EDIT: IMHO, I'm not totally convinced that this electronic style meshes nicely with the vanilla score.
