After updating dyndolod a few days ago i started having some problems with generating dyndolod in skyrim. It pointed some similar errors with 3 to 4 mods so i was disabling each one until it started generating, but now it pointed an error with a vanilla thing. What can i do?

[Main Instruction]
Error: Can not resolve cell for ccbgssse005-goldbrand.esl ccBGSSSE005_Blocker [REFR:020153A7] (in [CELL:0000B3F4] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 33,14))

Log: https://pastebin.com/MVm5hZZH

Load order: https://pastebin.com/EVAd9YBY

My modlist is quite big, engine fixes tells me im dangerously close to the limit of references or something of the like, but i managed to set up dyndolod a few times with basically the same mods.

I dont know anything about editing on xedit, only quick cleaning.

Is there anything i can do? I really like the mod, but its beyond me whatever is causing this issue. In fact I had this issue, got nowhere, reinstalled all game and mods from the ground up, only for it to happen again. Also, i dont mind if theres a workaround, such as disabling a mod. I do this with G.R.I.M, dyndolod always points some error there, so i disable it, generate, and enable again.

As we were unable to get it to work, we were starting from an unchanged backup modlist. Everything was working fine 10 months ago and now, with the very last DynDOLOD update, none of our team members were able to get the output, sheson. I feel sorry but we know the instructions, the explanations and there is no trouble with our load order.

This is currently not working on the very last DynDOLOD with The Great Forest of Whiterun Hold anymore, for no one !

I often see the same answers with the same links for almost every troubles and you are right, simply because people do not read, but please, don't take us for fools on Invicta. We know what we are doing, my friend. As i said, everything was perfectly working in the very sames conditions on the backup of the modlist 10 month ago, but do not work anymore with the last DynDOLOD update.

May I gently ask you a basic question, please ? Why the hell don't you allow access to previous versions of DynDOLOD

There are troubles for every complex mods and DynDOLOD is one of them. The more complex it is, the more likely it is to have trouble and DynDOLOD is no exception to the rule...

I apologize for the abrupt tone of this thread.

Requested logs, error message or problem description or any actual information about the the problem were not provided.

Always use the latest versions. Newer versions fix bugs, add new features, contain updated/new assets and configuration files to support the (sometimes still updated) vanilla game and for existing, new or updated mods. Using the latest version, providing feedback and reporting of all problems with requested logs to the official DynDOLOD support forum is a requirement to participate in the alpha test. Do not waste time using older versions or reporting problems with older versions. Older versions will automatically stop working after several months to facilitate the cathedral modding process and to protect the community from detrimental behavior and users from themselves.
Use the official DynDOLOD support forum to provide feedback, to report problems or to ask questions to help to improve the tools and the documentation or for qualified help and discussions.

Ignoring a problem - regardless of its source -  is not going to solve it. If you actually believe there is an issue with the tools, then by participating in the alpha test you are asked to help troubleshooting and fix them. In return you not only get to use the tools for free but also my help and support with related issues in your load order/mods.

If you believe there is an issue with the tools, mentioning that to the developer, yet purposefully denying requests for more information that would help to solve such issue - as proven hundreds of times in the past decade - is insane. Obviously the goal is to fix things for everybody.

We fix issues, professionally and timely and again regardless of their source - for the benefit of everyone. That is because modding and tools can be complex and users often do not have the understanding how anything works, make wrong assumptions and then often blame the wrong things, which leads to wrong solutions and rather more often then not, to actually not fixing anything at all, because the solution is to ignore the problem and/or to disable things instead of actually fixing anything.

The attached log shows the successful test with the mod that I ran after I read the initial post.

DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt

Refusing to post logs or to provide actual information about a problem is 100% clueless user error and foolish. Doing so while blaming the tools for the problem is rude. You actively denying my ability to fix anything if that is the case, while at the same time you are whining how modding/tools are complex and can have troubles. The alpha test is done to find and address such problems. You are just wasting time.

Thank you for your patience and for the time you took at launching it to your side, with the success & confirmation of the log file you posted !

I sent it to our Discord channel to allow people to have a look at it. I spent my 3 holidays at trying to get it to work and like them, I think they wouldn't have believed me if they couldn't see it by themselves...

I will come back, if you agree, with a log file and all the necessary files that you might need from our side to try help and find a solution to our trouble, or with the tree mod. This one is really good, but didn't get any update for a -very- long time. The modlist is really heavy in tree mods but we have specifics patches + all the other ones from the nexus.

Frustration is not an ally of patience & diplomacy, especially after several incubation days. My words, but this is what I demonstrated here and I feel sorry for that.

Thank you.

If you have a problem, why not just upload the logs, error message etc. as explained? Common sense would be to simply report an issue you believe is a problem with DynDOLOD to its support forum.

Please do not relay hearsay or logs from other people. Instead it should always be the user having the actual problem that should report here with their actual information, logs etc. as they are the ones that can then reply to further questions, troubleshooting requests, run tests version etc.

I suggest to really read the manual and browse/search the forum to see how this is done properly and successfully since over a decade.

Hi... I'm getting an error message "Error: Can not resolve cell for Kitkins13SnowberryCottage.esp [REFR:000931A6] (in Kitkins13SnowberryCottageExt [CELL:0000B3B3] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 32,16))" when generating LODs.  Texgen runs fine and xEdit shows no errors in the plugin.  I searched the forum and found no resolution that seemed to pertain to this particular problem so am hoping for some advice on resolving it.  Thanks.

Moved to the appropriate thread for the error in the load order. See posts above. See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search

Click the link Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Read-Log-and-Error-Messages to open https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Can-Not-Resolve-Cell:
There is a problem with the mentioned cell or reference record.
Check the log message for related messages above about the cell or the mentioned plugin. For example messages about Deleted Reference or Unresolved Form ID.
As explained in the Generation Instructions, finalize the load order, install mods, sort and resolve conflicts. Clean and error check the load order with xEdit to find and fix errors before generating LOD.

From the DynDOLOD log:
<Error: Deleted reference Kitkins13SnowberryCottage.esp [REFR:000931A6] (in Kitkins13SnowberryCottageExt [CELL:0000B3B3] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 32,16))>

https://dyndolod.info/Generation-Instructions#Prerequisites
Clean and error check the load order with xEdit. Clean every plugin that LOOT suggests to clean

Address these errors:
Deleted reference SBtN.esp
Deleted reference TheBanneredMareRedesigned.esp
Deleted reference TBRLanternAddOn.esp
Deleted reference TBR SupportBeamAddOn.esp
Deleted reference TalesOfSkyrim-Riftensummer.esp
Deleted reference Fancy Morthal Swamp Overhaul.esp
Deleted reference Natasha's Falkreath.esp
Deleted reference Kitkins13SnowberryCottage.esp
Deleted reference Fancy Swamp Fabled Forests Patch.esp
See https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Deleted-Reference

Also look into the "Unresolved FormID", "Found a NPC_ reference, expected ..." and "Found a ACHR reference, expected ...". They indicate broken plugins/patches.

Hmmm... and here I thought I was being thorough.  I checked every plugin for errors and xEdit showed none... also LOOT only showed the 3 official CC mods as being dirty.  At any rate, I've cleaned all of them and will make the mod authors aware of the deleted references.

I was unable to locate any of these terms in the Dyndolod Log or Debug logs.  Thank you for your help.

Hi, I'm having an issue where I'm getting this error while running Dyndolod. Mind you just 2 days ago I ran lodgen without any hiccups so I'm not too sure why this is happening now. If you need any more info please let me know

Hello sheson,

I come back a bit late due to a very busy schedule on the professional front. Our lead made some more patches & adjustments so the process was a bit delayed.

May I take advantage of your patience with the log file in attachment below of the very last DynDOLOD trial ? Because you agreed to answer me here, I posted the log file on this topic directly, but if you're too busy to have a look at it or want me to put it elsewhere on the forum, regarding your comment, I will do it, of course.

Going to spend a little more time examining the forum. If you have any contacts or links that could help, I'd appreciate it as well.

Thank you.

Best to learn basic modding knowledge/practice by following a well known modding guide like STEP and/or avoid using not well made mods. RTFM, especially the page(s) which are linked by an error message as they not only explain the message but also give hints how to solve them.

I must thank you for the very complete answers with the links, the sources and the informations about the reference troubles, for your patience and your great involvement to bring all the related informations. Probably again and again with many peoples !

Thank you for all these aspects, sheson.
