Large reference bugs workarounds requirements not met

RainingTacco

Question

>Large reference bugs workarounds: disabled (DynDOLOD.DLL: NG, Scripts: NG, Deleted references: yes)

There's nowhere i can enable this, this is the dyndolod_sse.ini

I dont get debug log, where are those references that i need to clean. Should i enable some other option to get it?

So this version of dyndolod can't proceed if there are deleted references, ok now i need to learn how to delete these from all my plugins. The earlier version just worked and ignored some of these.

I've been trying to set up DynDOLOD and I just cannot do it. When I launch DynDOLODx64 and choose what version I play on, it just goes and trys to load everything and the "Large Reference Bugs Workarounds requirements not met" messege pops up. I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere, so I hope someone can help.

Moved to the appropriate thread for the message.

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Read-Log-and-Error-Messages and as explained  use the "Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message" to open https://dyndolod.info/Help/Large-Reference-Bugs-Workarounds which explains the requirements:
For the Large reference bugs workarounds check box and options to become available on the advanced mode window, the DynDOLOD DLL NG and Scripts must be installed and every plugin containing deleted references needs to be cleaned.
See the Prerequisites section of the Generation Instructions for more.
When DynDOLOD is started, a log message will notify if the large reference bugs workarounds are enabled, for example:
Large reference bugs workarounds: enabled (DynDOLOD.DLL: NG, Scripts: NG, Deleted references: no)
In case a deleted large reference is found and the log and the Large reference bugs workarounds requirements not met error message report Deleted references: yes, the message will contain a line that mentions the plugin that requires cleaning like this:
Deleted reference Update.esm [REFR:000C8701] (places TreeDeadShrub [TREE:000A731C] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of FrostflowLighthouseExterior01 [CELL:00008F29] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 15,21))>

If this is the message you get, then clean the mentioned plugin so it does not have deleted references anymore.

Using search as explained at https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search should have found this thread. See questions/answers above.

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which DynDOLOD log and debug log to upload when making posts in case you still have have questions or require further help.

Disregard my last post about cant generate. I cleaned my plugins again even though loot is not telling me anything about dawnguard, heathfire and dragonborn

... and? It's working?

If yes, please indicate the post that "best answered" your question for posterity. It sounds like you cleaned the vanilla masters, but we have no idea what version of the game you are running, what vanilla plugins are in your game files, or what LOOT is telling you when you sort.

The example message above reports that Update.esm contains at least one deleted reference. It needs to be cleaned with xEdit.

https://dyndolod.info/Generation-Instructions#Prerequisites
Finalize the load order. Install mods and their requirements. Sort and resolve conflicts. Clean and error check the load order with xEdit. Clean every plugin that LOOT suggests to clean

I also received an error message and I followed the STEP guides instructions for cleaning vanilla masters.

There appears to be an issue with the latest version of LOOT and Skyrim. LOOT doesn't identify that Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm & Hearthfire.esm need cleaning.

It maybe worth updating the STEP guide to reflect this.

This is the DynDOLOD & xLODGen support forum.

If you have problems or feedback for third party guides like STEP, you should post it in the appropriate forum for it, for example https://stepmodifications.org/forum/forum/157-step-skyrim-se-guide/

If you have problems or feedback for third party tools like LOOT, you should post it to the LOOT forum thread https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/5042-relz-loot-load-order-optimisation-tool/ for example or maybe the discord for LOOT https://discord.com/invite/SZVPRzf
