I like the full version of the Enhanced Blood Textures mod, but if I install it I mess up the mega patch later on, which is looking specifically for the Lite esm/esp. Is there a way around this? I just prefer a lot more pools of blood around big battles and the Lite version sounds like it doesn't do that. Thank you.

Thanks, I will look into this. I am experienced with installing and loading mods but never deconstructing a patch. I want to use the full version of Enhanced Blood Texture + I don't want to use Lanterns of Skyrim.. that mod makes the game lose some of its wilder aspect imo

Yep, same logic applies to both in xEdit.

Can someone walk me through it? I apologize, I am getting tripped up with xEdit. I'd appreciate any help.

Ultimately, these are the changes I'd like:

I'd like the use the full version of Enhanced Blood Textures, but the Step Patch is looking for Lite

I do NOT want to use Lanters of Skyrim, nor do I want to use Improved Closedface Helmets

Thank you.

This is precisely why we don't support patches for these customizations. Way too much to maintain. We can only provide instructions for people to do it themselves.

The links I provided above do exactly what you ask using other 'master' examples or a generic example. I will also create a very brief guide on how to do this, but that takes time.

We also have a general xEdit Guide that may help. And there is formal xEdit documentation, which is somewhat limited but does provide some good context.

Thank you. I will look into this in-depth soon. Shouldn't be too difficult, like you said :)
