Given the way things have been, I think it is fair to say that it is not entirely likely that this will be integrated into Buffout 4 any time soon, so I think it would be good to provide this fix in our guide. It fixes a game bug as described on the Github page. Basically there is a game bug that can cause script-heavy mods (such as Sim Settlements 2) to cause save games to take forever to load.

Mod was officially released on Nexus as "Long Save Bug Fix" instead of the original "Fallout 4 Garbage Collector Logger & Bug Fix." I have updated the titles/links accordingly.
