Interesting. Regardless, I got my answer, and the manner and content of that answer tells me I need to take the instructions in the guide with a grain of salt. How pedantic of you. The instructions are accurate if you read my response to your question. Textures are mostly overridden and we don't care about them. They're not worth mentioning. They are irrelevant. We do this so that we don't need to add redundant instructions that only add to what we must maintain. The instruction could read "Only the meshes are needed from this mod", but it's not really any different. We only instruct to hide files if they will not be overridden later. Obviously, for this mod, any textures that make it trough will be used instead of vanilla.
Silverpanther34 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 The guide says, "Only the meshes from this mod will be used." After following the expanded installation instructions, the mod has Meshes, Textures and 2 hidden esp's. Do we hide the textures folder or not? Should the guide say "Only the meshes and textures from this mod will be used." Or should the guide include directions to hide the Texture folder also?

Many are custom texture paths used by the meshes. I updated the note to clarify.
