Question
Perturbed
Is the SRLE guide up to date with the latest Steam download of the construction kit? The reason I ask is that the guide indicates that to enable loading multiple masters, the archive lines SResourceArchiveList and sResourceArchiveList2 need to be changed to include Dawnguard.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa and so forth, but my new install from Steam does not have these archives named as such in the ini file. Instead I have Dawnguard - Original.bsa, Hearthfires - Original.bsa and so forth in my Data folder, along with the HD versions of these texture archives. And the SkyrimEditor.ini already has each of the "original" bsa archives listed in the sResourceArchiveList2 (but not the HD versions of the archives).
In addition, the SRLE guide states that, in the SResourceArchiveList line, the Dawnguard.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa and so forth needs to be added after the "Update.bsa." But there is no Update.bsa in that line - it only appears in the sResourceArchiveList2 line.
Needless to say, I'm confused about whether I need to change either of these lines at all.
Here is what the lines currently say:
SResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa
Edited by PerturbedsResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard - Original.bsa, HearthFires - Original.bsa, Dragonborn - Original.bsa
