VoidWalker Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Hello everyone.Im trying to install DynDOLOD with the help of the tutorials, but im stuck with TexGen. For some reason it cannot find certain files and because of that cannot finish the process.Im useing NMM. I also attached the screenshot of the error message.
0 sheson Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 No screesnhot or log linked/attached. The reason files can not be found is that those files do not exist or can not be accessed.
0 VoidWalker Posted October 8, 2018 Author Posted October 8, 2018 (edited) My bad. I thought i attached the screenshot correctly. I also attached the log file. I'll check the path for those files.[edit]Well, aparently I'm missing whole "ships" folder... log.txtFetching info... Edited October 8, 2018 by VoidWalker
0 sheson Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 The vanilla textures\dungeons\ships\shipwoodside01.dds is in the vanilla Skyrim - Textures.bsa, which according to the log is not loaded. This typically happens because the Skyrim.ini is not default and does not contain sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa in the [Archive] section. 1
0 VoidWalker Posted October 8, 2018 Author Posted October 8, 2018 (edited) Alright, ill add this line and check if that helps. The other thing i just notticed is that TexGen is creating masters for all plugins that i'm useing. In that case, is it better to install DynDOLOD as a last mod?Alright, it seems to work now :DI must had type that line incorrectly when adding yesterday. That's why it wasn't working.Thank You for your help! Edited October 8, 2018 by VoidWalker
0 sheson Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 TexGen is creating textures and nothing else. Read the included manual "Load/Overwrite Orders" section.
