DarkladyLexy
Blowing in the wind Hi, I have a question about the last update of the merge page : With "Blowing in the wind merge" you say we have to merge Blowing in the Wind SSE.esp - (Blowing in the Wind)Blowing in the Wind - Helgen Reborn Patch SSE.esp - (Blowing in the Wind) But what if we use other mods (like inns and taverns) ? Can we merge these patches too ? And BTW the "idiot check" mentions the 0.6.3 and on the prerequiste page it's 0.6.4. And BTW2 : what merge method do we have to use ? "Clean" (I think so) or "Clobber" ? Many thanks to your work :) Last question : Can we have (we = https://confrerie-des-traducteurs.fr/forum/index.php ) the authorization to translate your guide and all your patches and mods, please ? For the LotD french speaking player ? We already have the full trust of ICA and his team for all their work on LotD. Cheers, Koksome mods in Blowing in the wind are just meshes and thou wont need merge so that on on you find out.Merge method is Clobber which is default.I have no no Objection on a French Translation. Couple of hopefully easy questions and a note or two concerning loot.First, is there a preferred load order to use before I sort masters (LE was like this, loot wasn't always enough)Second, several mods are reported as needing cleaning. WGT, imp_helm_legend, artifactsofboethiah, andromeda (also reports that andromeda includes the modern brawl bug fix), MLU, Helgen Reborn, immersive citizens - ai overhaul, immersive colllege of winterhold, and Realistic Water 2. Should any of these definitely/definitely not be cleaned?Reports an incompatibility error between immersive horses and relationship dialogue overhaul. And between dawnstar and immersive citizens - ai overhaul. Are these covered with the patches or did I miss something? Beautiful guide and I look forward to playing it soon!Just let LOOT do it's thing. If i don't tell you to clean don't cleanyes i include the separate Modern brawl fix purely cos there are users that don't use any of Enai Siaons other mods.Ignore LOOT incompatibility warning as i dealt with the either in the CR of via LOOT Rules. kleshas
First up - great guide, thanks for all the hard work. I've been working my slow way through, with help from the linked PhoenixSunstar youtube series. Came across an issue:The Notice board redefined mod. The special instructions say to manually download, run through NIF optimizer and make a couple of folder/file changes. There's no mention of recreating a zip and adding the mod to MO2. I would do that, but the guide does say to trust it and follow it to the letter... and Phoenix does it his own way - installs the mod, and then makes the changes after the fact. Link to comment

waylander47
Hey I played with the "More silver weapons" mod. I created this esp replacer. It CR it with this guide. Changes:-Added Ars metallica and MLU crafting requirements -Altered weapon speed and damage to bring it in line with MLU and Lexy better arrows (However I did drop all higher tier silver weapon damage and critical damage by 1, and very slightly increase the speed on the silver tipped weapons when compared to the non silver tipped counterparts. My thoughts on this is because silver is a softer metal it will do less damage vs dragonbone or elven. Also as far as metals go it is fairly light. Game mechanics wise this gives incentive to use the silver tipped weapons on the undead, however vs the non undead they aren't as good as the standard. So people won't just make the silver tipped and run with it. You have to make a choice.) -Made sure all weapons were tagged as silver weapons so KYE patcher with notice it -Got rid of it's hallowed silver weapon, it's special silver perk, and individual silver spells due to possible conflicts with KYE, SIC, etc. Here it is, should be an easy add to the guide: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jhghh1v19w12eob/AABLbLkWsy77pkQuLrHhgfP6a?dl=0 Feel free to use it as a patch, or roll it into a consistency patch. I don't plan on leaving this on my dropbox forever, so let me know when you have it Lexy, or if you do/don't want to use it. Also if anyone is intrested. I've done some extensive patch work to the Book of UUNP. It plays well with the guide. I have permission to post it to the nexus. Just curious if you might want it. My additions/changes for Waylander's version:-Extensive mesh work/fixes for UNPB-Full proper MLU patch-Removal of all crazy skimpy swimsuit style armor-Removal of some of the more impractical armors-Removal of all high heels-Removal of all gorgets, awkward helmets, awkward mage robes (it's cold), and NPCs in Uniforms that have ordered ranks and command structure that would reflect poorly on them. -plays nicely with WACCF-integrated cloaks and winter is coming patch It still adds a ton of interesting and lore friendly armors. But all lore friendly. If you want I can make that version as a single lexy guide download addon when the page goes live this coming week. Let me know if you are interested. Link to comment
kuraiken
Awesome work, probably the most detailed and extensive guide there is.I've been using parts of it for inspiration & problem solving (which is probably not how it's supposed to be used), and it helped me get quite a lot of mods working in conjunction that I'd otherwise have to be picky about.Just a short question though: Is there a possibility that you may add brief notes for some of the custom decisions at some point in the future? For example when certain files have to be deleted, it's sometimes obvious (esp conflicts & merged esps, etc.) but at times some dds or other files have to be deleted and there's no clear reason given as to why. It seems a bit of a shame that there's no reason given, because relatively inexperienced modders like me could greatly benefit from a brief indication of why a certain action is taken and thus benefit from your expertise. (E.g. files conflict with similar files from Mod X - Delete) Thanks for all the amazing work! Link to comment
kleshas
on the nexusmods page, SFO Billboards for v2.5B links to the 2.5C version. Does this matter? Link to comment
kleshas
Also, on the Lexy's LOTD Static Hybrid Models and Billboards: Navigate to Lexys LOTD Static Hybrid Models and Billboards\textures\Terrain\LODGenCopy the Enhanced Landscapes Oaks Standalone.esp folder. Navigate to Enhanced Landscapes Oaks Standalone\textures\terrain\lodgenPaste the Enhanced Landscapes Oaks Standalone.esp folder. There is no Standalone folder in the mod itself, nor in the mods list and no \textures\terrain\lodgen inside this mod other than the one we are trying to copy from.
