Lexy's: Legacy of The Dragonborn Special Edition

I will only auto detect if the merge is active when you run Merge Plugin Hide

Nevermind, I'm just blind, I Just found the button to trigger it. Sorry for wasting your time! but thanks again for this step guide, its been great finding all these mods I would never have thought of using

I'm glad I'm not the only one that did this :D. I thought it was supposed to hide the merged plugins automatically once you activated the merge - didn't realize I had to actually launch the plugin and click the hide button. I thought it was failing because of the way Mator's tools currently have to be cludged to work for Skyrim VR.

Spamming this forum... sorry...

Lexy, could you confirm that there are 4 scripts that should be relinked if following the base version of your guide? I'm getting the following:

Changing string 82 from GIST soul trap.esp to Miscellaneous Merged.esp

Changing string 148 from 018Auri.esp to Song of The Green Merged.esp

Changing string 43 from InnRoomCosts.esp to Miscellaneous Merged.esp

Changing string 189 from TrueStormsSE.esp to Weather Systems Merged.esp

I just want to make sure that nothing is supposed to be relinked within Lucien Merged.

Also, I'm sure this is unsupported but there's a BSA-packed version of Interesting NPCs floating on the Nordic Skyrim Discord channel which really speeds up loading times for me. When I tried to relink sripts the first time it threw an error on 3DNPC - Archive.BSA. I got around this by extracting the BSA, setting the BSA to .mohidden temporarily while running ReLinker, and then getting rid of the loose files and unhiding the BSA afterwards. I think this should work - just throwing it out there in case anyone runs into a similar issue and searches.

When doing the updates, do we need to un-hide mods hidden after previous merging before updating them?  Or does MO know to update the hidden/optional files?

I know we un-hide them before doing the merges again, just not sure if we are supposed to un-hide them before updating the mods themselves...

Thank you.

Do you have an ETA on an updated guide for the most recent Skyrim SE vers?

The guide will be updated once all the mods that need to be updated for the new version of SKSE have done so... there is no point in posting a guide update that won't work. So, as Lexy put it... when it's done.

Yes, you need to unhide the merged files prior to updating. If you don't, those files will still be overwritten and will show as they normally would if you had unhidden them, but the Merge-Hide tool will throw a bit of a hissy fit and not work for that merge all that well... you'll end up having to unhide the rest of the files manually, which takes significantly longer, before you can rebuild the merge again.

Hello, I have a very strange problem with zEdit. It won't start. After I click zEdit.exe nothing happens. There are 3 processes in tasks manager.

After thinking more about problem, I got it! zEdit don't like russian letters in path to his folder. Relocating to root disk folder helped.

I have that too, the game starts and loads the ENB shaders, then crashes to desktop.

With the vanilla profile it starts allright.

I'm currently double checking all mod versions.

I suspect it's related to the update. My Skyrim is still at the old version, but maybe one or more mods updated before I installed them.
