Darth_mathias
The logic i followed for DynDoLod in LE was to disable anything that has nothing to do with lods. Otherwise i was getting whole bunch of completely unrelated plugins (i.e. Combat AI) as masters, which made removing these mods a major PIA. Not sure if that's still an issue in latest dydolodyou could "Clean Masters" once DynDOLOD has finished Lexy will be updating the instructions as soon as she can. Link to comment
sm0kem
Yup. But that always felt like someone who knows nothing about mechanical work has changed the breaks on his car - seems to work ok... but can't really be sure whether it was done right ;) Eventually i started to develop paranoia and blame every LOD issue on tinckering with dydodlod in tes5edit lol Edited March 5, 2018 by sm0kem Link to comment

Kneph13
Since I don't really assist and test (I'm afraid of it) at the moment and just try to provide advice to the new people, I am starting to notice repeat questions of things we have already provided answers for. I hate to come off sounding like a posterior cavity, but there is a a search function on this forum, and before you ask questions (especially concerning MO2, SSE Edit, DynDOLOD and Wrye Bash) it is a good idea to type their names into the search bar and all the posts concerning them in this thread will pop up. You can scan them quickly and 9 times out of 10 find the answer you are looking for, because it has already been discussed. It's what I do. But I am anal, ocd and all with constant anxiety (did I do that right?). Just a suggestion. Edited March 5, 2018 by Kneph13 Link to comment
Darth_mathias
EdwayneRinori ImarynFeldasElrothEgren All vampires I believe from 3DNPC's and all have the dark face bug. Can anyone confirm? Cheers.I can confirm they are suffering the Dark face bug not sure why does not look like the FaceGen is being overwritten. Edit: I can also confirm this Dark Face Bug is present even with just Alternate start and Interesting NPCs installed so it a problem with the base mod. Link to comment
Decopauge123
Random question, do you guys deactivate the Bashed Patch while running DynDolod? I keep seeing conflicting advice on that.Believe Sheson's advice is to deactivate the Bash Patch when generating DynDOLOD.Disabling your Bashed Patch before generating DynDOLOD is indeed Sheson's advice. Tzefira
Disabling your Bashed Patch before generating DynDOLOD is indeed Sheson's advice.Aye, I thought so. The directions in this guide didn't say to deactivate the Bashed Patch before DynDolod though, so I wasn't sure if that advice had changed in SSE or something. Might want to consider adding a note after Wrye Bash section. Link to comment
sm0kem
I would still recommend creating a separate MO profile for dyndolod and only enabling what's relevant. No tools are perfect and it will minimize the chance of getting some "junk" pulled into dydndolod patch and another chance of deleting something "needed" by cleaning and sorting masters in tes5edit Link to comment
sm0kem
Any specific reason you're not using iNeed Extended? Is it known to cause issues or just a personal preference? Link to comment

sm0kem
My rule of thumb is to leave all texture/model overhauls that touch world structures, trees and corresponding billboards, new lands, and anything that add new structures to the world. P.S. Also, if in doubt, just leave it checked Edited March 6, 2018 by sm0kem Link to comment
Tzefira
Threw Master of Disguise into my mix on a new game, ran around as various races dressed up in various faction outfits -- confirmed lulz. I quite like it, finally makes it worth it to steal different faction armor (and changes what you can wear in whose presence). It does seem to tag quite a bit of fur armor as bandit-wear, so if I were using Frostfall I'd have to consider patching unless I was okay never wearing fur. I'm entirely sure of some of the mechanics, I'd need to play with it more, but I'm enjoying it. Also put in Narrative Loot just to check it out, and really liked the new variety of random stuff. I ran into a very curious issue, which seems to be a thing for some folks in SSE. About an hour into my playtest as I was just wandering around with Inigo, I went to save and my save icon had turned into a weird mash of color with the word 'corrupt' on it. Not just that save, but all my saves. And Skyrim wouldn't load any of them from in-game. I chalked it up to game weirdness, quit out, and started a new game. About 45 minutes later, same thing. Previously-fine saves all said 'corrupt'. Looked up the issue and apparently others have had this happen too. When they see that 'corrupt' screencap they quit the game totally, load back in, and suddenly game says they're not corrupt anymore. I did the same, loaded back in, and sure enough Skyrim says the saves are fine and loads them just dandy. I played another two hours or so and it didn't happen again, though according to that forum discussion it can be quite random and also affects Xbox users. There's some debate in there as to whether it could be related to an SSE string limitation (Master of Disguise being script-heavy maybe it pushed me over, I don't know). I'm only about halfway through the thread so there may be other causes figured out, but just wanted to make you guys aware. Don't know if it's happened to anyone else. Granted my load order right now is purposely trying to stress Skyrim out for personal testing and is much soggier than what I'll use for a real playthrough, but I hadn't known this was a thing. Tonight was the first time it's ever happened to me. Edited March 6, 2018 by Tzefira Link to comment
