nico53laval
So I continued with my playthrough and I crashed again when I tried to go outside (Honningbrew mission). Link to comment
lordzap
Try desactivating SIC and the patchs associated. I had random crashs with this mod when I was in the open world (because of a particular spawn of SIC perhaps...) Link to comment
Nearox
Neo, for DDSopting do you use the settings in the 1st picture or in the 2nd? 1: From tab " Using DDSopt"Â 2: From tab " DDSopt Optimization" Â (subsection " Optimizing the Vanilla Textures"Â Only difference is the way normal maps and parallax textures are addressed. Prob doesn't matter much in the end but would like to ask for clarity's sake :P Link to comment
haelfix
So I've recently gotten back to playing Skyrim and was reinstalling Skyrim:LE and i'm sure i'll want to customize and tweak it a little bit after im done. Â However much has changed in 10 months. Â One of the things that would save me a lot of time is to not make mistakes that all the authors and users of this forum have undoubtedly made in order to come up with the best modlist possible. IÂ was wondering if there was a changelog in the wiki of SR:LE where I could see exactly which mods were removed from the lineup (either due to being removed from Nexus or replaced with something better). Â I recall in Skyrim Revisited there was precisely such a thing, but I wasn't able to find it for LE. Also other than Starac's mod, are there any mods that were removed from Nexus that people would still recommend using as nobrainers? Â Its possible I have older copies so I wouldn't want to accidently delete them.. Thanks Link to comment
SSL
Improved eyes skyrim isone of those mods that is gone and there isn't a reason not to use it. No, there isn't a list of mods deleted from SR:LE. I'd recreate the whole installation if I were you TBH. Link to comment
statmonster
Ren's Shrine 2.0 is out. Looks like it has a modular format which will allow us to pick and choose between her original, alternate and vanilla for each shrine. Any recommendations/advice? Link to comment

Neovalen
Deadly Dragons added, EotW Mage Equipment Overhaul added. Unreal Cinema volumetric rays disabled... helps immensely with the overbright sky issue. Link to comment
Ojack
YES!! thanks neo! Neo, I had a question. So this is an evolving and ever changing guide. I am currently at the conflict resolution section of the guide. I have read this question elsewhere but didn't really understand the answer. My plan, was to continue with the conflict resolution, even though you are adding and editing things. Is there a point of no return with these conflict resolutions? Should I make a copy of my current profile, and make the tes5edits on the new profile. I'm just a little confused on how to move forward from here. I am not one to fear pulling up my sleves, getting dirty with trial and error, I have run into so many problems and troubleshooting sessions, even before I found out about your guide. I just want advice in the situation that I make an edit, that you later undo, situations like that. Link to comment

Then right-click on the SR conflict resolution.esp and "Clean Masters". ;)If it's a record I modify, you can either A) Edit it to the new intended version or B) Remove the record same as above but then remake it from scratch.Added records are obviously easy ;) Link to comment
ipmlj
Hmm. When i sort orders for SUM.esp' date=' Tes5Edit tells me I can't delete it from my /Data folder upon closing it' date=' thus keeping me from seeing the main menu...[/quote'']Open your "Mod Organizer\mods" directory, create a new folder named SkyProc in there, then move the SUM.esp file from "Mod Organizer\overwrite" to "Mod Organizer\mods\SkyProc".Don't forget to refresh Mod Organizer and check the new SkyProc mod that will be listed after that. It should keep the error from appearing.I'm having trouble doing anything with that file. I'm new to MO so I'm sure its me doing something wrong. Sorry if this has been solved elsewhere but I have the same problem after starting the game from MO. Everything seems fine at first, I see the logo, then the ENB message in top left, but no smoke, no musid and no menu. I thought I may have forgotten to sort masters on the SUM.esp, opened TES5Edit, loaded everything and right clicked > sort masters on sum.esp. When I exit TES5Edit, I get the usual pop up and hit ok but then an error message saying sum.esp can't be deleted. I tried CJ2311's solution without MO and with. Admittedly, I couldn't quite figure out how to do it in MO..but I did manage to crash it when (from inside MO overwrite area) by renaming, drag&drop, removing, etc... MO just refused and then CTD'd. When I run TES5Edit everything seems to load properly so do I need to start uninstalling mods to see where the problem is? win7 sp1 64 bit32gb ramGTX 770 4gb (evga hydro classified)Edit: oh also, in task manager the executable is runningEdit 2: its definately the sum.esp that is causing the issue. I unchecked the sum.esp in plugins and everything loads and runs just fine. Link to comment
Neovalen
There was a discussion earlier in the thread but the actual problem is not SUM.esp, it's Bring Out Your Dead. If you have the 1.2.2 version you should revert to it, the 1.2.3 version is corrupted unless the new USKP BETA is installed. Link to comment
ipmlj
Ok, thanks Neovalen. BTW, somehow I managed to get it working. Each time I tried manipulating the file I'd get a system message saying it was in use. I checked task manager and skyrim executable wasn't running but the system seemed to think it was. So I rebooted. Before opening any instance of MO, I went to the Mod Organizer\folder and was able to delete sum.esp. I launched MO, ran SUM and built a new one. This time I immediately followed with TES5Edit and did a sort masters on sum.esp and suddenly it worked/saved the new copy. Launched the game from MO and everything was working fine. (P.S. I chose your version because you have similar tastes in mod choices and this SR:LE version is absolutely amazing. Eventually I want to add SkyRe and Helgen Reborn but want to make sure this one is running first. Amazing work, I don't know how you guys do it. It took me 6 days to work through the guide and learning all the new tools on the way. Your guide gave me just enough info to get me in trouble with all these new tools! - Sincerely appreciate all the hard work you and those who helped have put into this! Thank you!) Link to comment
