SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn

So I have around 285 plugins, with 250 after the bashed patch. Is it ok to run Relinker after the bashed patch? I'm worried that if I do it before the patch, the 255 limit will prevent the program from reading all of the scripts.  But if I run Relinker after Wrye Bash, will it be able to read the scripts within the bashed patch?

Thanks

22. There is an abandoned house east of Fort Greymoor, which is turned into Winch the Handy's house by VIGILANT.  The quest Azzarian's Gold (added by Interesting NPCs) has you go this house to find a safe in the fireplace.  Because of the modifications to the house, the safe is inside the walls of the chimney and unreachable.

This bug should now be fix via the latest update for the TESTING CR I have confirm it is fixed in my game on a new game

could some else please confirm as well?

The safe is now located outside the house next the chimney round the back that way you don't need to zone.

Now on to fixing the cocked up NPC CR and Merge I did yesterday.

Will this be a problem for the pre-September 4th guide users?  If so, any way around this issue without starting a new game? Perhaps using the in-game console?

Yes this bugs has been there for a while in fact ever since Vigilant was added I hadn't done that quest from interesting NPCs so didn't realize it was an issue until someone reported but by then I was unable to fix it.

I think if you haven't already started the quest from interesting NPC's you should be OK.

If you fast travel to the house you end up inside and thus can get to the safe without have to console command your way through the walls.

Ok NPC Option 2 CR and Merge Updated if you have Version v1.37 of the CR and v1.11 of the merge you need to update otherwise there will be all sorts of grey face bug issues and naked NPC's.

PLEASE NOTE I DECIDED TO STOP SUPPORTING OPTION 1 OF THE NPC RETEXTURES COS I DON'T USE IT AND IT IS A PAIN IN THE ARSE TO MAIN 2 VERSIONS OF THE SAME CR.

You may want to mention that in the guide

Guys,

This is supposed to be an advanced sort of guide. We're expecting you to do a little work on learning the tools yourselves. We're not going to explain everything to the nth degree. The guide's long enough as it is without mentioning every single thing.

If we're playing up to date should we be using this test CR?  is it the same v1.52 that you posted via dropbox a few days ago?  thx

I just started a new game with guide's setup and I must say, it looks great :)

I found out that with LAL, it is possible to play the Vanilla Helgen start with Helgen Reborn activated. Among several sources, Arthmoor himself states this here. It worked for me on the second attempt, which is rather good for the carriage ride on a modded game IMO. And way less work than disabling everything pertaining Helgen Reborn, redoing the patches that have it as master, and reversing everything a few minutes later.

I have one issue though: I seem to be running out of the 4GB VRAM limit for Win10. Might this be because I have a 3440x1440 ultra-widescreen monitor? GPU and CPU usage average out around 40-50%, game and mods are installed on a SSD. But I only get 30-35 FPS on average and frequent stutters. Any ideas?

well i didn't know that i will try out a vanilla start just to see. yes with Windows 10 you are currently limited to 4GB of VRAM that is well documented.

I just started a playthrough as well on Win 10 playing at 2K res.  Getting 60 FPS most of the time, but certain areas kill my FPS.  Also just getting a lot of choppiness, even indoors at times.  I just lowered my monitor resolution to 1920x1080...that helped a little but still seeing significant stuttering and FPS drops, with and without ENB.  We really need the MO/Win 10 update thing to get figured out...I dont think I want to make the move to straight Wrye Bash unless no other choice.

The actual conflict resolution works fine with v19 ?

for the most part yes. There is the odd bug with dragon priest mask and mannequin not displaying that i believe i have fixed in the test CR in my dropbox. There are a few more mods i am planning to add then i will get on and post the updated CR I am planning to get it done over the weekend.
