There is a step that says the Bash Tag Update is required before Merge Plugins, however, when I load up Wrye Bash, it disables a bunch of plugins because it's over the limit... Will that affect the end result? Additionally, how do I save my changes? Do I just close out the window and they are saved?

No just add the tag to the mods that need them and run the bash patch. the mod are automatically deactivated when startup Wrye Bash because those are the one that get merged into the bash patch.

Well, that will depend on Nozzer since it is up to him when he can do it. He's has just moved so realistically it may take a few weeks so I say go with option 1 for now unless you can find a mirror (please note as one of the original Pack authors I am not endorsing this option and support may not be given if something is iffy).

Yeah sorry guys. It's really badly timed this mod disappearing. Go with option 1 for now. And to be honest, Option 1 is quite Ok in and of itself. It's a bit more vanilla looking that Option 2 was and will be, but that may suit you.

Fantastic! I pinged the author yesterday asking them to simply put a depreciation warning on the site instead of hiding the mod. Maybe that helped convince them.

So my original question comes back into play, do we install the skysight skins option like the guide still says even though we are using vitruvia?

no you don't need the skyskin version that is likely a left over from when skyskins was in and we have just forgot to remove it.

 

Edit: I have just plugged in the backup drive into my laptop to look at what I did and it looks like I was using the Skysight Skins version. Now I must assume Darth used that for his merged version although he has not kept the generated MP text files so I am unable to confirm with a 100% accuracy (and know him he has likely forgetten which version he used for the merge).  So I say best to stick with the Skyskin version until someome is able to confirm better then me at this point.

Finishing the setup of this amazing compilation and I seemed to have run into a snag.  I am merging plugins now.  The very first merge, animal merge, seems to not be working for me.  It starts checking for errors in Immersive Creatures.esp and stops, there has been no progress bar movement for at least 10 minutes at the time of writing this.  Is something wrong here or is this just because the mod is rather large?  I will let the program run overnight while I sleep and see how it is in the morning.  Will update then.  Thanks.

Nope, didn't work.  Still at the same position when I went to bed.  Not sure why it is doing this.  I might try not putting skyrim immersive creatures as part of the merge.

You shouldn't put skyrim immersive creatures as part of the merge.

 

It's "Skytest Immersive Creatures.esp" from the skytest Integration project mod.
