  1. I guarantee that the pc program is showing exactly what it should be showing based upon the inputs it's been given. ^.^
  2. lol, you're a feisty one today aren't you ;)
  3. XCE appears to still be on nexus? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2356/?
  4. Painterly is the way to go; it's been in my load order since it came out. :D
  5. You probably let it merge some stuff into the BP that other patches require thus leading to CTD.
  6. Wow, someone's actually using the YASH guide; I'm pleasantly surprised. Let us know if you run into nay other issues.. guide hasn't been updated in ages but I'm sure we can work through whatever arises.
  7. That's looking pretty great for low time investment. Awesome stuff :) I plan on posting up a requiem-like SSE build once I have the free time... ERSO Reborn should be 100% portable and really checks the majority of the boxes. I'm a stickler for the version of the world that I currently run so I have to finish porting the various texture/mesh/etc mods I use before I get to that.. Which also means finishing the update of the SMC program so that it'll seamlessly handle things... Luckily it's open source and I already have most of it done from previous tinkering.
  8. Ah, yes it's less about look of the UI and more about responsiveness/buggines/less intrusiveness for me.
  9. Equipment HUD is a better Souls Quick Menu
  10. I updated the SMC guide as needed when I did my latest install about a month ago. You should be fine using it just note any problems as you go along so we can fix them.
  11. That would defeat the purpose of the patch... just fix the patch instead.
  12. Yep... If we can collate a list of problematic trees/plants/rocks/etc i'll spend an afternoon moving/disabling/floor-ing them. I just don't want to do one or two at a time.. the CK is too annoying to be opening it up every day. Correct WLSO page has not been updated yet however the WLSO configuration in the main guide is my recommendation.
  13. Yep... thinking about adding LoS On a different note.. do you still have the book of uunp patches I started on? I seem to have misplaced my copy somehow and wanted to post it since some people are interested in finishing it.
  14. Regarding Forest Borealis... I fixed all of the offending clipping trees I found anywhere near Whiterun and Rorikstead... We can easily fix anything else people find. Just screenshot w/ mfg console showing and post it. If you don't merge it should be placed above TAFM
  15. The lights seem to get stuck as big glowing balls fairly frequently due to, I'm assuming, script load. It's pretty frustrating since it takes like a while for the fix to take effect and it happens almost every time you fast travel. I don't recall this being a problem in the past but it's definitely an issue now.
  16. Only removed for now. Maybe could add in lanterns of Skyrim. Thoughts? There has to be something the people that are experiencing this have in common.. I believe Diana completed up through ECTV and is not experiencing the issue.. I don't experience the issue.. There has to be a configuration/installation problem of some sort.
  17. I believe so but you will need to properly clean your save with resaver after removal. Should be fine if you want to use them.
  18. Search back a few pages there's a post containing a link to the current wlso patches including the wlso__phinix. They'll go up to the nexus once diana gets through with that bit of the guide I assume.
  19. Most people that I know do as little as possible in the creation kit becaause it's slow, unintuitive and prone to crashing. Everything you need to do for this is accomplishable with just xedit
  20. Check the REQ_CLI_EquipSet_* LVLI records in Requiem.esp Many of those need changing. Check the REQ_LI_Armor_* lists... Many many new ones need created and incorporated to handle proper tempering of the newly added armors. In many cases there are also modified outfits that no longer point at the same vanilla armor lists which book of uunp assume are still being used that will need modification as well.
  21. You're missing basically all of the work... Requiem redid the whole bandit system in skyrim... all of that plus some other stuff is in custom requiem leveled lists.. that have to all be updated. That's the work i've been talking about... not the trivial bit of stuff that directly conflicts. You also need to create a couple hundred temper lists for the bandit system.. and some outfits..
  22. I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding about how ENB works and how it interacts with weather. Initially ENB had one set of configuration values for exteriors... Then it was allowed to overwrite those generic settings with specific ones for each weather type in the game... So you've gone from an ENB author providing one generic fits-all configuration to 26.. one full configuration for each vanilla weather... Then ENB adds in the ability to customize based upon the four time of day ranges.. day, night, dawn, dusk.. So now the ENB author has gone from 1 to 26 to 104 complete sets of enb configuration data he needs to tweak by hand to get looking just right in every situation.. and that's just for vanilla weathers. CoT for instance adds like 100 more.. To continue.. skyrim's built-in support for weathers and imagespaces includes things like changing fog density, fog colors, ambient light colors, etc.. all weather mods modify these values that DRASTICALLY change the look and feel of the game by themselves... ENB changes are layered on top of that. The changes the ENB authors are making are based on an assumption that the starting values for a given thing are some-value-x.. if the starting values instead are some-value-y... their modifiers will result in a completely different look and feel. This is why you're free to run any ENB with any weather/lighting modifier you want but the result will not be what you expect unless the author created the ENB with that weather/lighting configuration in mind... NLA modifies all of the vanilla weathers and any ENB that's made for NLA will look great with NLA loaded... The current suggested WLSO configuration runs CoT and NLA.. NLA is the winner for all vanilla weathers while CoT is used for all the NEW weathers it adds.. and Phinix has been optimized such that it looks good for all of those weather choices. Very few ENBs have been created with the assumption that the user is running both CoT and NLA. You're free to try any ENB you want... just realize that there will be some combinations of day/night and weather that will probably look janky. There are WLSO configurations in the WLSO guide that literally allow you to choose any weather mod and lighting combination to satisfy the requirements of every ENB on the nexus. You just need to figure out what you want and configure appropriately. If you already understood all of the above then I apologize for my incorrect assumptions.
  23. This is handled in the beautification guide.
  24. You're free to use any enb you want. Having said that.. the current recommended WLSO setup + Phinix was chosen because of how well it compliments RRD If you choose a different ENB you'll want to find one that does very little altering of brightness levels and doesn't blow out the lighting with alot of eye adaptation. Alternatively you could just go for a different WLSO configuration... the WLSO sub-guide hasn't been updated yet but those configurations should still work.. just use the current patches.
  25. It corrects color banding and the horizon seam when using an ENB. It's osmething Jawz put out like a year and a half ago. Fixes the gradient banding to almost a non existing factor. The different sky sections Horizon, Middle and Top have been aligned to more of a vanilla look, horizon is almost as high as in vanilla so no real loss there.Includes the feature of removing the seam between horizon and water planes or "sea planes" which can be seen in the distant. The need for fine tuning Horizon, Middle and Top individually is gone, adjust the GradientIntensity and you'll have a smooth and proper increase in intensity for the whole sky, depending on how good the different weathers RGB color values have been assigned.
