  1. I may not have been clear enough in my instruction for the placement of the plugin.txt. For WB people windows-r paste in %LocalAppData%\Oblivion or open any folder then replace the path in the bar with %LocalAppData%\Oblivion. Copy the plugin.txt in the folder over writing the one already located within. Is this what you understood? I am attempting to clarify those instructions, so any recommendation is appreciated. Also, have you made certain to close Wrye Bash before performing this step? The other alternative is to manually move the plugin order in the left pane of Wrye Bash Mods tab following the plugin order from the second table in the MorroblivionOverhaulModlist draft I have posted on Google Docs.

  3. Sorry, I just now noticed your comment. Yes, you should close Wrye Bash or Mod Organizer. Move the files into their locations. Open the mod manager and it should acknowledge the intended sort order by reading the plugin.txt for WB users or loadorder.txt for MO users.
  4. Update: Oblivion Reloaded - Extract the archive, delete the Oblivion Reloaded\Menus folder, and the Textures\Sky folder. Repackage the archive and install as normal.
  5. The plugin.txt is for sorting the load order. Because of the way the crpatch.esp is built, our load order needs to follow jdsmith's load order when he created it. Wrye Bash should follow that plugin.txt to sort the load order. Let us know if it isn't working. We have a few others who use Wrye Bash.
  6. Update: [Gameplay][Misc][MOB] Symphony of Creatures Esp/m filter: Uncheck: Morrowind_ob - Symphony.esp as only the resources are needed.
  7. Oh, something new has happened then. No, that's not normal, but they will still be replaced by the UOP. I'm curious why the Steam version has changed though. Mine wasn't like that. After I finish my edits on the guide I will look further into it, but for now it shouldn't affect the setup.
  8. It's an issue with the GOG version of the game. The disk and steam versions aren't like this. GrantSP has made GOG aware, but only time will tell if they fix it.
  9. These textures will be replaced with the Unofficial Patch, you can just ignore them.
  10. Updated instructions for Oblivion XP. This mod should not be activated by Mod Organizer users until after the UI section has been installed. However, it needs to remain in the position it is currently placed in the guide in order for the other mods to over write the files. Wrye Bash users will need to wait to install even the resources of this mod until instructed to do so.
  11. All the files we are currently hosting for Morroblivion Overhaul have now been updated at Morroblivion Overhaul Patch Central.
  12. Because of the CR Patch dependencies, the BOSS userlist.txt will be useless. For now it is recommended to stop using BOSS to sort the load order. We will be providing a loadorder.txt for MO users, and a plugins.txt for WB users. I will be removing all of the Edit BOSS userlist.txt: references from the guide and replacing "Run BOSS to sort the load order" with instructions to place our provided text documents in the appropriate folder for the mod manager. BOSS is still useful to review information regarding dirty edits, ect... I will not remove any information that has been provided with this utility. However, DO NOT run BOSS to sort the load order.
  13. Update: Morroblivion_Unofficial_Patch_Magic_Addon Replacement Patch for Morroblivion Overhaul guide users has been uploaded to Morroblivion Overhaul Patch Central. If you installed the original Morroblivion_Unofficial_Patch_Magic_Addon it will need to be disabled. Install this patch just below [MOB] Unofficial Patch and activate the plugin. Note: This patch will be missing masters until they are installed later in the guide.

  15. This week I will be updating the guide with what we believe will be the final modlist. We are refining everything now, but it will take a few days to test and make certain we do have it set as desired. I know we have some new users following the guide, those who might like an immediate update status may want to follow this topic by clicking the "Follow this topic" tab at the header of this forum. I try to keep daily updates within the first update comment for the day. I usually only post additional comments regarding changes made to the guide if I feel it needs to be a separate comment. Note: We will also be renaming a few of the Textures & Meshes categories. We are grouping them by theme. This will help shorten each installation section as well. I know it's overwhelming to install nearly 100 mods in one session.
  16. Modified: TES4LL instructions for Mod Organizer Users ONLY. In addition to creating the new TES4LL mod, the tes4qlod_tex folder needs to be moved from the Landscape LOD generator 5 15c mod into the new TES4LL mod. Removed: HESU The Skyrim Temple
  17. Because Maskars Oblivion Overhaul already addresses the Combat Overhaul we have removed Vanilla Combat Enhanced from the guide. Not only will this reduce a couple of extra plugins to install, but also simplify our process of refining the CR Patch. We have also removed MIDAS MAGIC SPELLS OF AURUM, Supreme Magicka, and [MOB] Integration. With the additions of Morrowind Spells included with the Morroblivion add-on, as well as the other Morroblivion magic mods we have selected to install, it has been decided that these mods will just be "over kill", so to speak. Removing the unnecessary magic mods will also reduce the number of plugins to install as well as simplify our process of refining the CR Patch. In addition, any patches that were required for these mods has also been removed. Removed: Custom Auto Save from the User Interface Section.
  18. Extract Tales Elsweyr Anq Bravil Barrowfields Patch.esp from the archive must have been a left over from previous notes and will be deleted from the guide. ULE LostSpires-UniqueLandscapes merged patch.esp was accidentally inserted twice and I will delete the duplicate. Thank you for catching these. Happy New Year Everyone.

  23. Just a heads up for those following the guide, we will be editing the Textures and Meshes over the next few days. Don't uninstall any mods that you have installed just yet as there will not be many that will be removed, but several will be rearranged to ensure the proper files are being overwritten. We will also be adding some new patches to install with the Textures and Meshes mods.
  24. We are still fine tuning Morroblivion Overhaul and working on the patches, but for the most part the mods that currently listed are what we will be using. There is no filler text in the guide, but it does contain alot of information geared to help new comers to modding have a better understanding of the steps they need to take when modding a game. It may still be a month or two before we have it completely ready for release, but we do have a few people following along to install the mods as we work on it, and helping to test out and report any bugs.
