Added section 2.5 Suggestions for In-Game Testing.

Removed Fast Exit 2 from the Extenders and DLL Enhancements section. While this is still generally useful, the Fast Exit feature is included in Oblivion Stutter Remover, which basically makes Fast Exit 2 redundant. As I continue to edit the guide I will be looking out for mods that are basically redundant now. If any of you see any mods that I have overlooked, please point them out to me. I would like to try to keep the guide as simple as I can.

I now have all the mods through the UI Section installed on both PCs and both are stable. The laptop is modded with Wrye Bash as the mod manager. The desktop is modded with Mod Organizer as the mod manager. Hopefully any further changes that will be made to the instructions through the UI Section will be because of a mod update. This is expected, especially with the Morroblivion mods as they are consistently being tweaked with fixes and improvements. The next phase of the guide is the Overhauls Section.
-
Uploaded a new revision of Oblivion Reloaded Preset. Oblivion Reloaded is also now flagged as a core mod because it fixes some game bugs as stated on the download website, specifically for Nvidia and AMD graphic cards. Intel graphic cards may not benefit from these improvements.

Added: TLS - DarkUId DarN Compatibility Patch to Themed Loading Screens for Dark UI

Added the following instructions to MOB_More Armor Slots (because I forgot to do so orignally, sorry) 2. Add the following line to your "\Oblivion\Data\ini\Morroblivion.ini": set mwFixes.EnableMoreArmorSlots to 1 set mwFixes.StrictMWEnchantmentSelection to 1 Alternatively, you can can skip editing the Morroblivion.ini and just run the game, open the console, and type this command: set mwMASquest.EnableMoreArmorSlots to 1

On the advise of Mator and Zilav, I have removed the Mator Smash utility from the Morroblivion Overhaul guide. It is an amazing utility for many games, but Wrye Bash is better established for Oblivion.

DarkUId DarN has been moved up to the Extenders and DLL Enhancements section. Some files for Oblivion Reloaded require DarN to prevent the CTD on Loadscreen. As most users are not satisfied with Oblivion's Vanilla UI, installing DarN early in the game will give users the opportunity to become familiar with the new UI as they test their game. I will leave the rest of the User Interface section where it is because a few of those files do need to overwrite some mods that are installed above them. In addition, I am updating the Troubleshooting Common Issues as I run into them myself. When I find a solution or work around I am updating it in this section.

The User Interface: Map Section has now been added to the guide.
-
Hmm, I'll have to take that into account for sure. The map mods we'll be using for Morroblivion are TR WorldMaps and Under the sign of the dragon - Tamriel Heightmaps for Morroblivion World Space with its map. Of course, Dynamic Map will be the foundation for the other maps we choose.

ponyrider0 has created The Morroblivion Help Desk Discord server that we might be able to seek live assistance as we need it. It has just been setup, but hopefully there will be more developers join up so that someone will be monitoring the channel round the clock and ready to assist as needed.

I am finally satisfied with my Oblivion Reloaded INI Tweaks and they are now on the Nexus. I have also uploaded my HUD Status Bars INI Tweaks. If anyone would like to recommend changes to these tweaks, I am open to review and test the suggestions.
-
I made a mistake when structuring the Oblivion Reloaded Preset folder that I uploaded to the Nexus. I failed to put the Shader folders into the Oblivion Reloaded folder. After I work out the presets I will upload the revision in the correct format. Until then you simply need to create Shaders\Oblivion Reloaded folder and move the Ambient, Coloring, GodRays, etc... folders into the Oblivion Reloaded folder.

Ok friends, help me decide between these two Shivering Isles maps. In a previous setup I used Elven Map For Shivering Isles by odin_ml, but I really like the look of Shivering Isles Map HD by Slangens. Which one do you think you would prefer?

I have the first portion of the User Interface section edited into the guide, however I need to perform some INI tweaks and play around to see what settings will look and work best. The next section of the User Interface is adding the Map Mods. If you see errors, please let me know. I'll try to get on the Map Mods tomorrow.
-
Me too. I prefer Mod Organizer as well. I'm reviewing some new content from other guide authors today to determine if I wish to change anything that I had in my previous setup. Also, ponyrider0 is having success with merging the fixes to save some plugin slots, so I may be revising the Morroblivion with Fixes section soon.

Yes. On my laptop I have installed all steps up to Morroblivion with Fixes and Improvements via Wrye Bash. I will also install the UI section when I have it complete and edit it into the guide when I know it is stable. These will be the only mods I install on my laptop with Wrye Bash. My desktop installation will be with Mod Organizer. This will allow me to trouble shoot and work with all users, hopefully, to resolve any issues they encounter with the recommended mods.
-
The solution seems to be a manual installation for Oblivion Reloaded v6.3.0, allowing Wrye Bash to Monitor the External Installation. I will update the instructions in the Guide to reflect this. Please let me know, or post the issue on the TES Reloaded Technical Support forum if this does not work for you.
-
I never liked the map myself either. I will start on the UI section next. It has literally taken me all day to organize all of my downloaded mods today. I have them on two separate hard drives (each 4 TB) and they were both such a mess. Now I have them consolidated and categorized. I'll start working the UI section tomorrow (or later today after I've had my sleep).
-
I'm thinking of working on the UI section next. This way if users choose not to proceed through the rest of the guide with the Overhauls and other graphic changes, they can at least have a better UI. There are some really good map changes for both Oblivion and Morroblvion that I used in my previous setup.

I'm happy to hear you are enjoying it.

Let me get with ponyrider0 and see if there are any know fixes. One of us will try to get back to you in a bit.
-
TES4LL has now been updated with specific instructions for Wrye Bash users to set up the tes4ll_all.mpb to output the Landscape Lod Generated to Oblivion\TES4LL folder. This will allow the user to review the mod before it is installed.

To all users following this guide: I encourage you to visit ponyrider0's post on the TESRenewal forum Active Morroblivion Bugs and Fixes List 2017: Good news / Unofficial Project Announcement. If you have registered on the site, please give a thumbs up or a thumbs down to let our friend know if there is enough interest in this project. Otherwise, ponyrider0 will move on to other planned projects.
