well my best advice is take up with Sheson and I still have the old version of Skyrim and the new XLODGEN and it works fine for me but I am on Windows 7 and I guess you both are on 10.

Check CACO is activated. I have never had an issue with PapyrusUtil and inn rooms cost CTD on me.

you probably just picked the wrong version the frist one an esp flagged as a fomod the second is a normal esp.

the Alternate Start Cell has always had that issue it magnified by ELFX I think It due to too many light sources it actually an engine bug.
